Chapter 41: New Occupants on the Top Floor of The Plaza Hotel in New York
"Hey! Ageless doll, I'm sure you haven't left for any of the houses yet, have you? "Tony Stark's call came in.
"Fortunately, I was just about to ask, where are the keys you gave?" Diana sat in the driver's seat, fiddling with the string of keychains that Tony Stark had ruthlessly thrown at her.
"Emmm, you can lose that set of keys, it doesn't matter." Tony's voice reached Diana's ears.
"Sure enough, it's you, is this how rich people spend their money?" Diana asked rhetorically.
"Not all at all. At least for me, it's just a normal thing. Tony's words couldn't help but fill with a strange sense of pride, "I just saw a place for you, so I bought it." β
Diana really has nothing to say about this kind of person who throws money at the slightest disagreement.
"OK, tell me where it is."
"I bought the apartment on the top floor of the Plaza Hotel in New York, and it's not only close to where you call your place of work, but there's plenty of space." Tony was as casual as he was saying that he had bought a cheeseburger on the side of the road, "I've already told you, that apartment is yours now, you just have to go to the hotel front desk and explain it." β
"You put that apartment in my name?" Diana really didn't expect Tony to do this.
"It was Pepper who suggested to me, and it was Pepper's choice of a place that would take you out of Brooklyn. If it weren't for the fact that there are no villas for sale in Malibu right now, I would have gotten you to Malibu, at least my safety would have been no longer a problem. Diana was somewhat overwhelmed by Tony's barrage, "But don't worry, all the costs of that room will be taken away from my personal security by Stark Industries." β
But at least Diana understood why Tony was able to endure the existence of the little spider.
"OK, you're calling to explain this, aren't you?" Diana placed the keys in the passenger seat to her left.
βyeahγβ Tony answered Diana's question.
Diana hung up the phone after hearing this meaningless response, after all, it was enough to know about it.
Before Tony could call Diana, Emma had already been picked up by Professor Charles.
So now Diana only needs to pick up her orange cat, and everything will be fine.
There was nothing else worth taking away from that little building.
"Hey, goo. We're getting out of here. Diana said as she looked at the coo who was leaning on the window of the car, looking at herself, and then at the small building.
"Meow~" Coo seemed to have a lot of attachment to that small building, and actually called out to Diana.
"Don't worry, I'll always be with you, as for that building, maybe it won't be in our lives." Diana cupped her coo and pressed it to her forehead.
Coo seemed to know what Diana meant, and no longer paid attention to the small building, but quietly lay on the co-pilot next to him and closed its cute little eyes.
"Very well, now let's go and see the house that Pepper has prepared for us." Retracting her gaze from the little orange cat, Diana activates F1-LM.
There are no traffic jams and nothing weird happening.
Diana arrived safely at the Plaza Hotel in New York.
A doorman walked up quickly and took Diana's car keys.
"Thank you." Diana hugged Coo, and in the other hand was Stark's long list of house keys.
"Hello, miss." The front desk said to the woman who was driving the McLaren.
"Oh, I'll get my room key, Diana Prince, thanks." Diana said to the front desk staff with a gentle smile.
βOKγβ The front desk began to scrutinize to see if a Princes lady had booked a room here.
"I'm sorry, miss." The front desk looked at Diana and said, "I didn't find your hotel reservation, I'm sorry." β
"Maybe what I said wasn't very accurate, the key I came to get was the key to the apartment on the top floor of your hotel." Diana didn't have any opinions, after all, it was also the reason why she didn't describe it accurately," Tony Stark bought it almost an hour ago. β
"Yes, Miss. But I need to contact our manager for this matter, after all, I need to approve it. β
"No problem." Diana stood there with Coo in her arms, waiting for the manager to arrive.
"Hello, miss." A typical white male came to the hall in a smart suit and held out his hand to Diana.
"Hello." Diana put down her grunt and shook the manager's hand.
"Mr. Stark has explained everything to us, and this is your key."
It was clear that the manager was the one Stark had ordered.
At the same time as the manager handed Diana the key, Diana also handed out Stark's set of room keys from before: "Thanks, I may need you to return these things to Tony Stark." β
"No problem, we're here to help." The manager politely took the key handed over by Diana, "If you need anything, you can call the hotel and we will prepare everything for you." β
A service member stepped out and led Diana to an elevator that was clearly decorated differently from the rest.
Picking up the coo on the ground, Diana followed the pace of the service staff.
"It's the elevator to the top apartment." The attendant just walked Diana to the elevator door and stopped walking. It was clear that what followed was Diana's own time.
"Thank you." Diana walked into the elevator.
The elevator goes straight to the thirty-eighth floor, the highest point.
Watching the elevator climb floor by floor, there is a sense of expectation of opening gifts, and things that have never been seen before will always have a different sense of expectation.
But just as Diana was about to take a look at her new home, her stop in the hall had already caught her attention.
"Hey! Dave! A young man called the name of the white manager.
"Welcome, Mr. Tarasov, what can I do for you?" The white manager, known as Dave, said to the young man.
"I'd like to know if that woman was a customer of your hotel or a resident here." Tarasov asked Dave in a Russian-accented English.
"Oh, I'm sorry, Mr. Tarasov, we can't disclose the information of the residents." Although he didn't say it explicitly, Dave had already given Diana's message to the Russian man.
But the problem is that one is the son of a Russian gangster boss, and the other is a very important woman to Tony Stark, otherwise there is no way to explain why Tony Stark would buy a top luxury apartment in New York for this woman.
"Mr. Tarasov, I suggestβ" Dave wanted to say something, but was blocked by Tarasov's words.
"In other words, I will be able to see her here in the future. Is it? Tarasov raised an eyebrow at Dave.
At this moment, Diana is enjoying the beautiful view from the balcony of the apartment in the penthouse.
"Not bad, isn't it? Cuckoo. Coo jumped into Diana's arms, and looked with great interest at the view of New York's Central Park from her new home.
"Meow~"
"Looks like you agree." Diana said with a smile.
