Chapter Forty-Six: Take the Hulk Away
Diana's actions were completely unexpected by General Ross, and he would never have imagined that someone would kill what he had said to protect in front of a real American official, even if it was a monster.
But thinking of Diana's combat strength, General Ross could only barely suppress the anger in his heart, and at least left a headless corpse for him, which was not considered nothing.
Would Diana not think of the value of an abominable corpse? What's more, how much loss has been suffered in another universe for this reason, and leaving research materials for others? That's pure stupidity.
"Sir, there are unexplained thunderclouds converging over Miss Diana." Jarvis's voice was transmitted to Tony through his suit.
"Didn't we have thought about it before, but now it's just confirmed." Tony said to Jarvis indifferently.
"No, sir, I mean if you don't take off urgently, there's a good chance that Mark IV will be damaged here because of a power surge."
βshitοΌβ Tony also had to quickly lift off and move away from the range of the thundercloud.
When Tony Stark left quickly, the helicopter pilot also received a thunderbolt warning, and it didn't matter if the person sitting behind him at the moment was the top boss of his own boss, after all, life was important.
The helicopter also chose to climb quickly and left the thundercloud range.
No sooner had they left the range of the thunderclouds than silvery-white lightning fell, striking the abominable headless corpse.
The occasional arc separated from the lightning had caused the lightning protection devices of the surrounding buildings to be completely destroyed.
Being directly hated by the thunder was even more inevitably turned into ashes, and the traces of his existence were completely erased by this thunder.
Diana didn't even feel at ease enough, and walked through all the places where she fought against Abomination with thunder, at least to ensure that the old man sitting on the plane couldn't find a little bit of Abomination's organization.
Like a wave of thunder, it enveloped the entire battlefield of battle.
The Hulk, which had just recovered, was once again turned into a muggle by this wave of thunder, and was planted headlong in that pit again.
Diana didn't just scribble, but very solemnly did it again, and then nodded with satisfaction.
There's no way, the last world was miserable, and the appearance of various clones has long made her extremely sensitive to this kind of thing, and only when she ensures that no more moths will appear, can she leave the battlefield with confidence.
The tumbling thunderclouds gradually dissipated, and there were no more waves of lightning on the ground, except for the occasional electrical components that were damaged by excessive lightning.
At this moment, Tony dared to slowly land beside Diana.
"I have to say, you're better than my Molotov cocktail." Looking at the place where the abomination corpse was lying down, completely washed into a white ground by thunder and lightning, Tony had to open his mouth to praise Diana.
"Finished?" Diana tapped Tony's suit, "There's a guy in the pit over there who can transform into a big guy." If you don't want to see something like that yellow chunk, stop the crowd. Diana pointed to the crater where she had hammered the Hulk, and then to the military helicopter that was descending.
"Understood." Tony also knew very well that the culprit this time was the spirited old man on the plane, and then flew to the descending helicopter and stopped them.
"Tony Stark, this is the second time you've stopped the military, do you want to go court-martialed?" General Ross yelled at Tony almost at the tip of his nose.
I don't know why this old man always likes to threaten them with court-martials.
Tony just spread his hands indifferently: "It's useless for you to tell me, you have to discuss with my lawyer team whether I am stopping the military from acting." β
"And old man, I don't think your call will do anything to that young lady." General Ross may not know Diana's identity, but Tony does. This sister will not give you face just because you are the boss of the American Air Force, or that there is no such sister on this planet who needs to give face.
All need this sister to give them face.
"No one can point fingers at the military's actions and obstruct them." General Ross was clearly by Tony and Diana's actions.
"It seems that the last time you did something, you were slaughtered as a wild boar in the forest, but the way you were killed was a little disgusting." Tony looked at the picture Jarvis had shown himself with some disgust, but his mouth was still not salty.
General Ross naturally knew which operation Tony was talking about, and it happened that there was one thing in common in both operations, and that was the Bronsky, who had now turned to ashes, that is, hatred.
General Ross didn't want to say anything to the tin man, now that the hatred was gone, at least there was a big green guy lying underneath. As long as he can recover the Hulk, he doesn't care how many hatreds he loses.
The Hulk would be the best raw material for making super soldiers.
He also never thought of Bruce Banner as a person who would turn into a Hulk, and the current Bruce Banner was no different from the mutants he captured for research, and they were all experiments on his way to obtaining super soldiers.
Tony realized that he had no intention of talking to him anymore, and could only follow the helicopter down.
He doesn't have the guts to attack a high-ranking military official, unless one day he can resist a nuclear bomb without dying.
Diana had already arrived at the site where Hulk was smashed.
The original Hulk had not been forcibly reverted to Bruce Banner under Diana's heavy blows, but then several rounds of electrotherapy when he woke up successfully brought him back to Banner's body.
Now there's only one man in big pants at the bottom of the pit: Bruce Banner.
Diana jumped lightly into the bottom of the pit, completely unaware of where she should start, and took this guy up, even if it was using the lasso of mantra, there was no way to do it.
That big, outrageous pants, Diana didn't think her movements would be so gentle that the tattered thing could hold up until she took him away.
"Diana, no way, they still came down." While Diana was distressed, Tony fell to Diana's side.
Tony's arrival made Diana realize that she was not here alone.
"Can you take him away?" Diana patted Tony's armor, "I don't want to fly in the sky with a person who could become naked at any time." β
βNoοΌ NoοΌ NoοΌ Tony showed a violent disgust, and even repeated a few times in a row, "I won't fly in the sky with a man, and Iron Man's arms are only reserved for women." β
"You can leave it to me." A voice interrupted the conversation.
The person who spoke was none other than General Ross, who had already disembarked from the helicopter at this moment.
His eyes seemed to be blazing at the fainting Bruce Banner, and then he looked at Diana with the same eyes as he looked at his prey, which was completely a kind of fiery for the object.
"Your look makes me uncomfortable." Diana said to General Ross in a deep voice, "You're looking at me with such eyes, I don't mind turning you blind, maybe you can be a companion to a street hero." β
General Ross didn't seem to hear Diana's threat, and still stared at Diana: "This young lady, I haven't held you accountable for maliciously destroying the products of the military's experiments, and you still dare to threaten a lieutenant general of the orthodox American Air Force?" β
General Ross began to pace at the edge of the pit: "This young lady, I can arrest you now, I hope you will cooperate with us." Otherwise, you won't have any room to live on the land of America. β
"Diana..."Tony obviously felt the change in Diana's aura around him, and had to speak, "Don't kill you." But Tony only said that to Diana.
Based on the actions of this General Ross, Tony can basically conclude that this Thunder General will inevitably become an outcast, and even all the disasters will be borne by this useless general.
Get rid of the U.S. military completely.
General Ross naturally heard what Tony said, and said with some disdain: "Why, do you dare to attack me?" That would really be the enemy of America. β
General Ross doesn't care what happens when he returns, but only if he can bring both Diana and Bruce Banner back to the military lab.
But he clearly miscalculated Diana's bottom line, for Diana, war starts from the moment you start threatening me, and war doesn't need rules.
Or rather, there is only one rule: whoever has the big fist is the rule.
Now, it's clear that Diana is the one with bigger fists, so, she's the rule.
"Do you think I'll care about being an enemy of America? Or can the United States of America in your mouth afford to be my enemy? Diana instantly appeared in front of General Ross, "What are you barking at me?" β
"I am the daughter of Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazons! Not a child raised by Martha! β
As soon as General Ross was about to say something, the severe pain had already hit his brain, and in order to protect him, his brain automatically shut down, and General Ross fell straight to the ground.
Diana's hand was plucked from Rose's eye socket and tossed to the ground like two worthless glass balls.
Tony was also relieved when he saw this, after all, the lieutenant general still had a life left.
"He lived because of you." Diana said to Tony at the bottom of the pit.
Tony also nodded heavily, Diana really gave him enough face, otherwise the general who died would definitely not survive.
"Sir, there's a plane landing here."
As soon as Tony heard Jarvis's voice, he saw a plane slowly land on the ground on the other side.
Out of the belly of the plane came a well-armed team of agents, guarding the surroundings.
"It seems that our great S.H.I.E.L.D. chief is finally willing to show his face." Tony said in a weird way, after all, the last one to get off the plane was Nick Fury, who had been watching all this in the Triqual Wing Building.
Nick Fury didn't care about Tony's sarcasm, just looked at Diana on the other side of the pit with his own one eye.
Even at this moment, Diana still had blood dripping from the eye socket of a lieutenant general on her hands.
"Diana, I can help you settle this." Nick Fury spoke calmly.
When Diana first met him, she didn't think he would become what he is now, but it may be the consequence of the closure of the world line.
Otherwise, it wouldn't explain why this former friend had become such a jerk.
"Tony, remember one thing, never treat Nick Fury as a friend." Diana slowly floated to Tony's side, completely ignoring what Nick Fury said, "Otherwise, you'll just be like me, and you won't be able to kill your former friend." β
Tony nodded approvingly.
"You have to trust me, Diana." Nick Fury said to Diana again.
"Didn't I believe you before, Fury?" Diana asked back Nick Fury.
"I can't trust a hero who has crossed the universe, I just want to live in this world like a normal person." Nick Fury shook his head, "I need to be responsible for this world, I need to be responsible for the people of this world, I need to be responsible." β
"So, you're spying on me every day, aren't you?"
"It's safeguard, Diana. It's all about the world. "Nick Fury doesn't feel like there's anything wrong with what he's doing.
After all, it's all about the world.
Diana just sneered, and then said, "I think you said that you can settle this matter, probably because you are taking away the premise of the guy who can transform into a green fat man." β
Nick Fury's braised egg head nodded up and down, "Leave it to me, Diana." Bruce Banner will be an integral part of the Avengers' plan, and so will you. β
Tony didn't have any intention of listening to Nick Fury's words at this moment.
Diana? Then it's even more unlikely.
"I'm sure you already know how to take this naked man, right?" Diana ignored Nick Fury and said to Tony.
"Of course, I guess it's here now." As soon as Tony's words fell, an all-terrain off-road vehicle stumbled to the edge of the pit.
When Harpy got out of the car, he was already sweating profusely, obviously not hot, but frightened.
American soldiers, an elite secret service squad from an unknown organization, and a guy lying on the ground who looks like a high-ranking guy, and the ruins of a war around him. All of them are destroying his fragile mind.
It was only when I saw the suit of my boss that I felt a little safe.
"Harpy! Get down! Tony lifted his mask and shouted at Harpy.
"Here it is, boss. Just bought an all-terrain buggy as you commanded. Harpy wiped the cold sweat from his face and crawled all the way to Tony's side.
Tony frowned.
"He's yours, take him to the car, and then you can drive away." But Tony didn't say anything, just pointed to Bruce Banner who was lying on the ground.
Harpy didn't say anything, now he only has one idea, if he can leave this ghost place early, he will leave early. So he didn't care whether the Banner on the ground was dirty or not, and walked directly to the country with the Banner on his back.
Diana and Tony watched as Harpy put Banner in the back seat and quickly left the place.
Nick Fury understood that when normal negotiations didn't work, Banner was already destined not to belong to S.H.I.E.L.D., but he still wanted to make one last effort.
It's a pity that no one gave him this chance.
Diana had already leapt into the air, burst out of a sonic boom cloud, and disappeared from his vision.
Tony hovered slowly in the air and said to Nick Fury: "Remember to watch TV tomorrow, there will be a surprise!" β
After saying that, he dragged the fireworks and left here.
Leaving only Nick Fury with a confused face, and General Ross who fell to the ground, oh, and a group of their men.
