Chapter VIII Nine and Three-Quarters
Back at the Leaky Cauldron, Linde prepares to head out under the strange eyes of the customers around her. Tom, the owner of the bar, suddenly stopped Linde.
"Wait a minute, Mr. Augustus!"
Together, the two looked back at the bar owner.
"Hello, my name is Tom Abbot, just call me Tom, I'm the boss here. Forehead... What is it? β
As he spoke, he pointed to Linde's right hand.
Lind raised her right hand, carrying a black mass on it.
It is like carrying a broiler, turning the two wings outward onto the back, and then pinching the base of the wings.
"This? This is the chicken I bought in Diagon Alley just now, I think it's too pitiful in the cage, and I'm going to buy it and stew it home. β
Hearing this, Andersen began to struggle with anxiety again.
"Oh oh, well! It looks vibrant, and it's a shame to stew the soup. Tom was old, and the bar was dimly lit and the raven was surprisingly large, so he thought it was a chicken.
"I still think it's better to make a roast chicken. Oh yes, you two gentlemen have something they haven't taken yet. β
With that, Tom took out a pamphlet from the side of the bar and handed it to Felix.
Linde glanced at it and saw that it read, "If your child is a little wizard, what do you need to do." γ
Tom continued, "This is for parents of newly enrolled Muggle-born wizards... Forehead... How? β
Tom thought for a moment, "Pamphlet, yes, that's what those guys at the Ministry of Magic said.
These are some of the little things that every Muggle parent needs to know because of the International Wizarding Secrecy Act. β
As he spoke, Tom leaned out of the bar, leaned out and whispered to them, "You know, not every professor is as good as Dumbledore, and they often don't teach you these things.
Like that Professor Snape, he certainly didn't tell you that. β
Although Felix didn't know who Dumbledore was, he nodded hesitantly, "yes, he doesn't seem to be very easy to get along with." β
"That's for sure, after allβ" Tom hesitated, but still didn't say anything.
"After all, he is usually very busy, so I took over this job a few years ago."
Lind had a guess about what he was going to say. It should be said that Snape used to play for Voldemort, but he didn't say it in the end. Maybe it's because there are so many people here!
After thanking Tom, the two walked out of the Leaky Cauldron and boarded the way back to Notttown.
On the train, Felix opened the brochure with great interest.
And then not surprisingly ... Fell asleep.

August 30th
Linde came to the town's cemetery with a white chrysanthemum in his hand. He walked in silence until he reached a tombstone in the cemetery.
This tombstone doesn't look old, and the time for erecting the monument should be less than a year.
In front of the tombstones, countless flowers are placed, some of which have dried up, some of which are still in full bloom. Obviously, the flowers here have never been broken.
Linde also placed the flower she held in front of the tombstone. I wanted to clean it up, but I found that the area around the tombstone was clean. He just sat in front of the tombstone, not knowing what was going on in his head.
The next day, Linde packed his bags early and had breakfast with Felix, who rarely got up early.
"Don't you really need me to send you?" Felix wiped away his non-existent tears, and Xiong Da Xiong Er was whimpering and rubbing Linde's trouser leg reluctantly.
"Don't give it away, do you think I don't know what you're thinking? Would you like me to leave early and go back to sleep? Lind waved his hand.
"I know if you don't get in the car quickly, you stinky boy, I'm going to die." Felix laughed and helped him carry the box and put it in the trunk of the car.
The original plan was for Felix to send Linde to London, although he was very comfortable with his brother, but it did not mean that he would be at ease with this social environment.
But it happened that Romano was also going to London, the guy who was missing half of his front teeth and said that he liked women. And the other party was very willing to take Linde on a ride, although he didn't know where Linde was going to study.
And Romano is still relatively reliable, so he simply let Linde and Romano go together.
Lind smiled, looked up and motioned for Hans Christian Andersen, who was standing on the chimney, to follow the car, and after saying goodbye to Felix, he got into the car and set out on the journey to London.
It wasn't until early evening that Romano dropped Linde off at a record store on Charing Cross.
"Are you there tonight?" Romano gestured to a small hotel across the street from the record store.
"Well, our school should have chartered this hotel, which is for new students from afar. You don't have to send me anymore, go get busy! This is the rhetoric that Linde had come up with before.
Romano was notoriously warm-hearted in town, and if he hadn't said so, he would have helped him carry his luggage all the way to his hotel room.
But he wanted to stay at the Leaky Cauldron tonight, not the hotel.
"Okay! After the semester, I came to tell me about a few girls in London. Romano nodded Linde and drove away.
Seeing Romano and his car out of sight, Andersen honestly flew onto his shoulder, and Linde pushed his luggage into the leaky cauldron next to the record store, invisible to ordinary people.
Linde didn't expect that Gringotts was still open now, maybe the elf schedule and working hours couldn't completely copy the system of Muggle society.
After exchanging some Galleons for gold bars, Linde spent the night at the Leaky Cauldron and set off early the next day for King's Cross Station.
Old Tom had already told him the exact location, though only with his mouth.
Linde, pushing a luggage cart, walked slowly by the platform. He had just seen a man rush into the pillars of the platform, and was about to rush in, only to find that the pillars were between platforms 7 and 8, and he didn't know where the wizard train was going.
I think it should be a train that didn't appear in the original book. After all, the magic train technology should not be used only by Hogwarts.
Coming to the middle of platforms nine and ten, he followed a wizard to platform nine and three-quarters.
The smoke of the crimson steam train filled the air over the crowd, and cats of all colors walked under people's feet. Amid the humming of the crowd and the cacophony of dragging heavy luggage, owls also chirped and chirped.
He looked back at where he had come, the wall had become a wrought iron archway with the words "Nine and Three-Quarters" written on it, and he could see that someone was trying to rush in outside, and he quickly pushed the luggage cart forward.
Andersen stood in front of the luggage cart and quacked. Unlike most people who stay on the platform, Linde is alone and only needs to squeeze in front of him, and in a few moments he is on the Hogwarts Express.
Finding a carriage that was still empty, Lind walked in and closed the door, drawing her wand.
"Yugadimleviosaβ"
This is one of the few simple spells he tries at home during the holidays, because from the experience of reading the original books in his previous life, the young wizards who have not yet entered the school will not care even if they simply cast spells from the Ministry of Magic, and the traces will only take effect after they are officially enrolled.
However, he didn't dare to try too many skillful spells, and it was better to keep the name of the Demolitionist on Seamus. So most of the time he was actually reading, soaking in water, and reading.
The suitcase fluttered and floated. He wasn't an otherworldly genius, and it was already his limit to be able to do it, he glared at Andersen.
Andersen was so excited by him that he hurriedly grabbed the grip on the suitcase and helped him put it away.
