Chapter 29: Backtracking
"It's true, Gryffindor loves heroes." Snape smiled, then added, "But they don't like the dead, and you're lucky." ”
"You guys?!" Lind noticed his wording, so what the hell did Harry and the three of them do?
At this time, Jane said it out loud because someone in front of her started. "I... I went to the owl hut to deliver a letter, and then I ran into a troll on the third floor.
And then just... I met Linde, and then ...... "She didn't know what to say, Linde said that the two of them worked together to kill the troll, but the real situation is not like this."
"The back is like what we went to see, right?" Dumbledore added to her words.
"Yes, Professor." Jane's face turned red.
Hearing the two of them talk about themselves, they turned their attention to the three Harry.
"I found them in the hallway on the right side of the fourth floor!" Snape glanced at Harry and said.
"Fourth floor?!" Professor McGonagall was even angrier, "Didn't you take Professor Dumbledore's words to heart? ”
"Professor, it's Malfoy, he said he would duel with us there." Harry finally mustered up his courage.
"Duel?!" Professor McGonagall covered her mouth.
"And where is the Malfoy in your mouth? Porter! Snape's face grimaced.
"He didn't come at all, he had stage fright." Ron followed.
"You know, Malfoy's homeschooling wouldn't allow him to do that!" Snape retorted.
Harry was just about to continue when he was patted by Linde, and the point of this matter was not a duel at all, the point was why they were there.
Even if he did call Malfoy over to confront him, he could say that he had not had time to make the appointment when he heard Dumbledore ask them to go back to their respective common rooms in the Great Hall, so he delayed the duel.
"I ......," Harry couldn't speak.
"What about you, Miss Granger." Dumbledore didn't know what he was thinking, and asked the last person.
Hermione's tears fell, looking particularly aggrieved. She sobbed and said, "I... On the way back, I saw that Harry was gone, and it occurred to me that I had to inform them that a troll was at Hogwarts.
I once heard them talk at dinner, and I heard them say they were going to the fourth floor. So... So I went to them. ”
"What do you care about their lives for?" Jane roared out, startling Linde.
This little temper, there are teachers around! Linde patted his chest.
Jane also suddenly realized that the occasion was not right, and quickly apologized.
"But... But I can't because they don't like me... I'm just watching them go into danger! Professor McGonagall was about to say something when Hermione spoke, and with that, she burst into tears.
Indeed, the old wronged. Obviously, these two people only spoke ill of themselves behind their backs in the morning, and then they went to remind them to hurry back to the lounge after an accident at the dinner party, but they were also caught in the office and held accountable.
This also drew the teachers' attention back, so that Jane could avoid being blamed.
Professor McGonagall rushed up and hugged Hermione tightly, touching her hair and comforting her, "You're doing a great job, okay boy!" ”
Dumbledore looked at Harry solemnly, "Harry, are you sure Malfoy asked you to go to the fourth floor?" ”
"Yes, he said that if either of us loses the duel and dies, no one cares where we die, because you said there would be a miserable death." Harry nodded with some wincing.
Dumbledore and Snape looked at each other solemnly.
"Alright, kids, you've been scared enough today." Dumbledore comforted the crowd with his words.
"But, Harry, Ron, Gryffindor broke the rules because you were deducted 20 points." He looked at the two of them solemnly.
"Linde, Hermione, you did a great job, even in the critical moments, you remember your classmates and friends. Won 10 points for Gryffindor. Hearing this, Hermione seemed to be a little better.
Professor McGonagall had heard Dumbledore's decision to reward and punish, and she patted Hermione on the back before speaking
"If you're not hurt at all, you'd better hurry back to Gryffindor Tower. The students all enjoyed a Halloween dinner at their own college. ”
"But Professor, that ......" Harry suddenly became anxious, trying to say something.
"It's okay Harry, it's safe there, we'll send it away." Dumbledore interrupted Harry, his voice calm and magnetic, as if everything was under his control, and he couldn't help but silence Harry as well.
After that, Linde took the lead in saying goodbye to the professors, and then walked out, and then the rest of the young wizards also walked out.
Bang!
The office door slowly closes.
"They broke in and were nearly torn to shreds by that stupid dog." Snape said hatefully.
"It must have been the Malfoy kid who stumbled upon Louwe, so he deliberately let Harry go over there." Dumbledore scratched his beard and pulled a piece of candy out of his pocket.
"Let's change its position!" Dumbledore said lightly. "It's too dangerous to continue there, and it doesn't take long for the news to spread."
Snape nodded, and left the office to find Hagrid outside the castle. If you want to transfer, it's better to find its owner, the stupid big guy is better.
Working until midnight, they finally found a place to hide Lowe.
Snape was once again at the bottom of the third-floor Astronomical Tower. The current astronomy tower no longer has its previous messy appearance, and the corpses, flesh, and rubble have all been cleared.
He picked up his wand.
"Trail flashes!"
Snape blew at the tip of the staff, and a large stream of golden mist emerged from it, and as he spun, the small space was soon filled with this golden mist.
The golden mist slowly turned into a short human form, with a bird standing on his shoulder, and a sword longer than him in his left hand, apparently with a levitation charm attached to it.
It was Linde.
I saw that Linde quickly enlarged Andersen on his shoulder, and then Andersen grabbed the ring on the tail of the sword and flew high.
Then Linde ran out.
After a while, two figures ran out of the golden mist again, Linde and the girl who was dragged up like a balloon.
He lowered the girl behind the wall and confronted the trolls rushing in.
Since the incantation was not very clear, Snape could not tell what kind of incantation Lind was uttering by the shape of his mouth.
All he saw was a thick, rapid spurt of what should have been a stream of water from the tip of Lind's staff, knocking the troll backwards.
Suddenly, the giant sword that had been carried up before smashed down, and a large cloud of golden mist was lifted with it.
Snape was visibly also taken aback by the sudden golden mist. Finally, the spell ended, and the golden mist slowly dissipated.
He smiled with satisfaction before leaving.
