Chapter 8 Bodyguards
Andrei tutored Xiaoxing after I came, and Sergei's girlfriend had something to deal with when she went to other places, so Sergei accompanied her. Andrei also succeeded him for a while. Actually, Sergey is not a classmate in our Russian class, he is a project assistant of Huang Lili, Huang Lili is a visiting professor sent to our institute by a university in China, she has a project to cooperate with the Russian academic community, Sergey is a graduate student in Huang Lili's department, and they are working on the same topic. Xiaoxing and Huang Lili are relatives, and Sergei is also talking to Huang Lili, so Xiaoxing has such a tutor.
It's not a tutor to teach her every day, and once or twice a week is enough. As for how Andre tutored Xiaoxing, we don't know very well, anyway, Xiaoxing won't spend money on a tutor. Besides, tutoring is what we said, and Sergey and Andriy are really not tutors, just to answer some of her questions.
The job that Misha introduced to me was really good, and it could almost be regarded as a fat shortage.
The pay is good, but the workload is not large.
I'm in charge of delivering to a seafood owner in China.
My job is to unload the goods from China into cold storage. When I received a call from a customer asking for goods, I delivered the goods and collected the money back to the boss. You don't have to go to work on time, and customers don't ask for goods every day.
My boss loves to gamble. I went to the casino when I had nothing to do, and on two occasions he went to gamble and was not in the office, so I put the money in his office and left a message for him. After that, he felt that it was convenient for both of us to do so. The two of us don't have to meet, he doesn't have to go to work, anyway, I do the work, and I get the money back for him, and he can play in the casino wholeheartedly.
The cold storage is located in a satellite city about 30 kilometers from Moscow.
Each round trip takes almost half a day. The point is the problem of trucks, I don't know how to drive, let alone pick up a van, I have to rent a car every time, and sometimes it is very late to return to Moscow. The owner let me make the delivery alone. I don't know much about those drivers, and to be honest, I haven't met any bad guys in the two months I have been running, and I feel very lucky. Later, I tried to ask someone to accompany me to the delivery. But if it's delayed for half a day, no one can always accompany me. If someone helps you once, it's a big face.
The customer called again to ask for the goods, and after class, I asked if he could accompany me to deliver the goods tomorrow during the day. It just so happens that we don't have classes tomorrow afternoon. During the day, he said that his uncle would also arrive tomorrow and that he was going to the market to help. I was a little sad, thinking that if I find a driver with a good face tomorrow, how can something happen!
Andrei may have noticed my sad expression and asked me what was wrong? I told him I wanted someone to pick up the goods for me tomorrow, but they didn't have time.
- "How about I go with you?" Andrei asked me.
- "There you go! That's great," I replied, thinking to myself, that would be safest to go with him, who people thought was coming with the Russians.
Andrei smiled, feeling happier than me.
Our car was hurtling down the country road. I haven't been in a good mood for a long time. I don't know if it's psychological, but I think today's driver is very polite to us. In May, Moscow is full of mountains full of golden dandelions, and the weather is exceptionally sunny. I was so happy that I was almost singing. Andrei and I chatted about the beautiful scenery outside the window. I found out that he wasn't cool at all! He usually has a serious appearance, but once he laughs, he feels very bright! Under the scorching sun, the temperature in the car is getting higher and higher, Andre took off his jacket, he turned his head sideways to look out of the window on my side, and suddenly pointed to what to tell me to see, I'm short-sighted, and I have always been unable to see things. I didn't see anything, and looked back at him aggrievedly. We sat side by side in the back seat, he leaned over, and our shoulders were almost together. What suddenly crossed my eye was his broad shoulders. He wore a plain white half-sleeved shirt with a round neck. The clothes were tightly wrapped around him, and the chest and arm muscles were especially noticeable. This guy is pretty strong, I said to myself.
The next delivery was Andrei with me again. There were a few times when I was afraid that he would delay class and wanted to ask someone to help me, but he disagreed, saying that he skipped class much less often than his classmates. As the days went by, his job as a bodyguard for me became a regular worker.
That's how Andrey and I got closer and became friends. Andre treated me very well and we got to know each other a lot.
He is originally from Zurich, and his father worked in a finance firm. Her mother is Italian and she is a music teacher in a secondary school. He has an older brother who is five years older than him. Working in a bank. There is also a younger sister who studied as a nurse in a city in Italy (I don't remember).
As for his profession, he is also financial. It was Switzerland and Russia that had an indicator of a government-funded exchange for study abroad, and he came over. I asked him why you didn't go to the University of Modo or the Academy of Finance, how did you come to this college, and he smiled and replied.
