Chapter 137: Hagrid Leaking Mouth
"How did that Eddie Warren know?"
The three of them were silent for a moment. Ron asked nonchalantly.
"I didn't ask him." Hermione shook her head and said, "When I was looking up materials in the library, I was talking about Nick Lemay, and he happened to hear it, so he said a few words to me. β
"How do I feel...... He's a bit like Nolin in first grade? β
Ron squinted, thinking back to the time Norlin lived in the Burrow during that summer vacation, and subconsciously compared Eddie Warren to Norlin at that time.
"He seems to know Norin."
Harry said casually, then waved his hand, "Let's think about how to stop Voldemort from stealing the Philosopher's Stone......"
"Can you please stop that name again!"
Ron lowered his voice and whispered. Coming from a pure-blood wizarding family, he has had a fear of the name since he was a child.
"He killed my parents!" Harry said annoyedly, as if there was a fire burning in his eyes, "Do you think I'm going to be in awe of him?" Thinking about it that way, Snape was even cuter. β
"Calm down, Harry."
Hermione furrowed her eyebrows and looked around to make sure she hadn't caught anyone's attention before whispering:
"We can ask Dumbledore, or Professor McGonagall, or ...... Nolin. β
The scene in the Forbidden Forest inevitably came to her mind, and she realized that the boy who was a year older than her had the status of a professor in her eyes.
"Good idea. Just ask Norin. β
Ron's eyes lit up and he said. He knew Norlin best, so he naturally didn't have to hide it.
However, when they found Norlin in the auditorium who was having dinner and told them their inferences, Norlin smiled and said to them:
"Don't worry, get ready for the final exam."
No matter how Harry and the three of them asked, trying to exaggerate the seriousness of the matter, Norin listened with a smile but didn't say a word.
Harry and the others hung their heads and returned to the Gryffindor common room. They didn't notice that a mediocre-looking wizard passed by them.
The wizard walked unhurriedly to a women's bathroom on the third floor, and there was a faint cry from inside.
He walked into the bathroom and looked suspiciously at a female ghost who looked like a student sitting on the toilet and wept bitterly.
He didn't pay any attention to the weeping ghost, and opened his mouth to make a sound similar to that of a snake roaring. The next moment, the bathroom shook, and under the frightened gaze of the female ghost, a stone door slowly appeared in the wall of the bathroom.
"Wait, Dumbledore...... Yaxley ......"
He said bitterly as he stepped into the stone gate.
β¦β¦
It was hard for Harry to imagine how he had passed those exams, because he had been on the lookout for Voldemort breaking through the door all those days. But as time passed, it seemed that Lu Wei was still alive and sound behind the locked door.
Hermione seemed to listen to Norlin's words, and also put the Philosopher's Stone matter behind her, and concentrated on preparing for the exam, soaking in the library all day long. She always felt that her knowledge was not strong enough, so she still memorized or copied it over and over again.
On the day of the exam, Norlin almost didn't make it. He'd been working on the Transfiguration technique extended by Animagus lately, exhausted from exhaustion. If Smith hadn't woken up, they might have missed the first day of exams.
The weather was very hot, and it was even hotter in the large classroom where they were answering questions. The professor gave them new quills for the exam, all of which were under an anti-cheating spell and were used against examiners like the twins.
Norlin felt comfortable with the other subjects, but Dumbledore's Defence Against the Dark Arts exam surprised him a bit.
Dumbledore had only one question, and asked them to write down how they felt after their first Defence Against the Dark Arts lesson.
The time for the exams passed quickly, and the school year officially ended after answering the question of which eccentric old wizards had invented the self-stirring crucible in the last course of magical history.
While Harry and the others were relaxing in the warm sun, Norlin had already returned to Professor McGonagall's office to practice the Animagus.
His recent transformations had become more and more handy, and Norlin had a vague feeling that what he had envisioned was gradually becoming a reality for him.
While Norlin was working hard for his way to the sky, Harry and the others learned some fatal news from Hagrid.
ββ¦β¦ Hagrid, I have one thing to ask you. Do you remember the night you won Noble by playing cards? What does that stranger you play with look like? β
Hagrid sat in a chair outside the cabin, his trousers rolled up, and was busy peeling peas in front of a large bowl. Harry and the three sat on the grass in front of him, and asked urgently.
"I don't know." Hagrid said nonchalantly, "He'll take off his cloak." β
He saw the consternation on the faces of the three Harry, and he couldn't help but raise his eyebrows in surprise.
"What's so strange about that, the Hogshead pub - the one in Hogsmeade, always frequented by some quirky guys. That guy might be a dragon peddler. I never saw his face, he was wearing a hood. β
"What did you tell him at the time? Did you mention Hogwarts? β
Harry and the three of them looked at each other, and had a bad premonition.
"Maybe I mentioned it." Hagrid frowned and recalled, "By the way, he asked me what I do, and I told him I was the gamekeeper here...... He asked me a little bit about the animals I was looking after, and I told him......"
"Then I said I've always wanted a fire dragon...... Later, I don't remember exactly, but he kept buying wine for my brother...... By the way, he said he had a dragon egg in his hand, and if I wanted to, we could play cards and gamble on it, but he had to find out if I could deal with it, and he didn't want the dragon to run out and cause trouble......"
"So I told him that I was even obedient to Lu Wei, and that a fire dragon was nothing at all......"
"Does he seemβseem interested in Lowe?"
Harry asked, trying to keep his tone calm.
"yes, I'm interested - how many dogs with three heads can you meet? Even in the vicinity of Hogsmeade? β
"So I told him that Louwe was actually very easy to deal with, as long as he knew how to calm it down, put some music on it, and it would fall asleep immediately......"
As he spoke, his face suddenly became as frightened as the three of them, and he said with chagrin:
"I shouldn't have told you this! Forget what I said! Heyβwhere are you going? β
Harry, Ron, and Hermione ignored him and ran straight back to Hogwarts Castle.
