Chapter 169: Meredith's Covenant War

Durmstrang had a much more generous meal time than Hogwarts, from twelve o'clock to two o'clock in the afternoon, a full two hours.

And when class ends early like today, it seems that time is free.

George and Fred often complained that eating at school was like fighting a war, and that they were only an hour away. In most cases, students are just rushing to fill their stomachs. Because in this hour, there is something else to do.

After Norin and Giles finished settling the food, the bell for the end of class had just rang. They walked out of the restaurant and back to the East Tower.

The East Tower was quiet, with the occasional owl flying overhead. Only then did Norlin remember that Hua Luo was still in his pocket, and he hadn't come out to breathe.

In the center of the east tower stand two coiled marble escalators, like two twisted strands of twisted flowers.

As a result of his third grade, Giles also moved to the East Tower, where the dormitory was not far from Norin.

Returning to the rest room in Gerofyne, Norlin found that it had become a dueling arena. Many students work in pairs, waving their wands in the corners. More people watched and cheered them on.

In the lounge, there is a small platform with a sturdy magical barrier to prevent the spells inside from inadvertently injuring others. This is to make it easier for students to duel.

When Norlin stepped into the lounge, all eyes were on him, with awe in their eyes.

They were Nolin's classmates, and they watched the duel in the morning from beginning to end. The spells cast by Nolin and Professor Mars that they couldn't even name were too impressive in their minds. At this point, even the most aggressive students didn't dare to think anything about Norin.

An orange flame burned in the fireplace, filling the lounge with vibrant colors and a warm spring. By the fireplace sat an extremely comfortable-looking soft armchair, on which Meredith, the prefect of Gofain, sat with his eyes narrowed slightly.

When she saw Norin come in, her eyes lit up slightly, and she stood up and greeted her.

"Prefect."

Giles said with a hint of respect, knowing how terrifying this prefect was. This was known not long after he entered the school.

Meredith nodded at him, and then said to Nolin:

"I forgot yesterday, I brought you your uniform, textbooks and timetable."

Next to the soft hand chairs, there are two neat sets of robes and a stack of books.

"Do you need to send this from the prefect himself?"

Norlin said jokingly.

Unexpectedly, Meredith nodded seriously, looked into Norin's eyes and said:

"It wasn't necessary. But I still have something to tell you, so I'll stop by. ”

Norlin was speechless for a moment, and Giles saw this, and immediately walked away with a sense of humor. Before leaving, he patted Norlin on the shoulder and said with a smile:

"You can come and play with me when you have time."

After Giles's figure disappeared into the passage, Nolin asked:

"What's the matter?"

"Fight with me."

Meredith's delicate face changed slightly, and her eyes stared at Norin with burning eyes.

Again?

Norin only diverted the topic last night, but I didn't expect Meredith to be indomitable and chase after him again today.

Norin hesitated for a few seconds, ready to fool around:

"Hmm...... Let's talk about it another day, my mana consumption is so great today that I won't be able to recover in a few days. ”

"Exact time."

Meredith was unmoved, and asked persistently.

"Huh?"

Norin was stunned for a moment, and said speechlessly, "Do you have to look for me?" What about the rest of the seniors? They must be strong too, right? ”

Meredith said lightly, her eyes suddenly sharpened, "You don't agree?" ”

Norlin kind of knew why she was sitting at the front last night. He looked at Meredith's face, and felt that if he refused outright, she might have pulled out her wand on the spot.

After thinking about it, Norlin said:

"I'm going to have a fight with you before I leave Durmstrang, okay?"

Meredith stared at him for a moment before nodding lightly and turning away.

It was set to be the day before leaving, and no matter what the result was, she couldn't find herself.

Norlin thought to himself, secretly praising his wit.

When he returned to the dormitory with his robe and textbooks, his roommate was still nowhere to be seen, and the dormitory was particularly clean.

Norlin changed into his robe and tugged at his neckline. I have to say that Durmstrang's school uniform is very flattering, once the brown robe is added, whether it is a bucket of five big and three thick, or a skinny willow, it can exude some wise and outstanding temperament.

In contrast, Ravenclaw's robes appear to be more intelligent than heroic.

Unlike the popular wizarding robes, Durmstrang's house robes were neither breezy silk nor meticulous gentleman's gowns, but more like the woolen winter coats of the Muggle world above the knee.

Wide lapels, double-breasted, cinched waist, long belted in the same colour, and Durmstrang's school crest and Russian name embroidered on the left chest and cuffs. The neckline of the sleeves and the hem of the dress are embellished with creamy white fur, which is a unique look and feel. The robe is worn with a standing collar of the same color, and the fabric is as thick and warm as the outer garment, which is very practical.

Norlin released Warlot from the pocket of his Ravenclaw robe, and Warlot flapped his wings in displeasure, strongly condemning Norlin for forgetting about it.

It was in the space of the Stretch Spell all day with a pile of lifeless objects, so bored that it had long wanted to come out to breathe, but it didn't expect this unscrupulous master to forget about himself for two or three days.

Hua Luo couldn't wait to fly out of the window, and in the next second, he jumped back at a speed several times faster, trembling. The low temperature outside made Warlo's wings almost freeze, and it burrowed into Norin's bed with palpitations, wrapped tightly.

"Now I know why I didn't let you out."

Norin said with a smile, making an excuse for his actions.

Hua Luo's body trembled, and he refused to come out again. Norlin didn't care about it anymore and glanced at the timetable.

The afternoon class was Potions, and Norlin probably didn't have much of a difference from Hogwarts, after all, Potions were used worldwide.

I have to say that Durmstrang's curriculum is really relaxed, and the only compulsory courses are Dark Arts, Potions, Charms, History of Magic, Transfiguration, Herbs and Flying, and they don't take Muggle-related courses.

After all, Durmstrang was a pure-blood school and didn't have much to do with Muggles.

After flipping through his textbook, Norlin walked out of his dorm room to prepare for the next Potions class. It was a course he was interested in, and he had brought Snape's "Half-Blood Prince" textbook with him.
