Chapter 188: Ice Wine

Walking out of the castle, Giles was still sitting on a stone bench by the side of the road.

"I've been waiting."

Norin said with a smile, raising the pass in his hand.

"Mr. Headmaster, embarrassed you?"

It's been a long time, and the students on the side of the road have almost gone, Giles couldn't help but guess.

"Nope. Mr. Principal...... It's quite cooperative. Let's go. ”

Norin smiled wryly and walked out of the school in the direction the students had left.

The distance between Wainledal and Durmstrang Castle is not long, and it can be reached by walking for about an hour. Giles also seems to know a lot of shortcuts, and takes Norlin left and right, weaving through the wind and snow.

It was the first time Norlin had been so far from the castle.

Violent snowstorms in Austria are pouring in from all directions, and the white mountains seem to stretch towards the end of the world at the edge of the horizon.

There was a vastness in front of me.

"I can probably see why the Nordics are so burly and strong."

Norin looked at the slightly shocking scene in front of him and said with emotion.

"Are you saying I'm not Nordic?"

Giles said with a smirk. Norlin then remembered that this guy's appearance did not match the Nordic at all, and his feminine and handsome appearance looked more like an English man full of gentlemanly bearing.

"Honestly, are you really Norse?"

Norin asked curiously.

"The real thing, like the fake."

Giles rolled his eyes and said nonchalantly.

This shortcut road is sparsely populated, and few students know about it. Giles is a bit like the Weasley brothers, both of whom have the ability to discover secret passages.

After walking for about half an hour, a trace of human fireworks finally floated out of the wind and snow ahead.

Norlin could already faintly see a sizable village in front of him.

"It's almost there."

Giles's eyes lit up, and his pace quickened a little.

After walking to the entrance of the village, the flow of people reappeared around the two. With excitement on their faces, the students discussed the anecdotes aloud.

Norlin was no stranger to this kind of scene, and he had seen many seniors look like this in his two years at Hogwarts.

"Let's go, I'll take you to goat cheese and Austria's peculiar icewine."

Giles spoke, and was the first to enter the village of Unledal.

Along the way, Norin saw a number of shops that functioned similarly to Hogsmeade, similar to bookstores, potions material stores, clothing stores, bars, etc., but more often than not, dark magic item stores unique to Tumbledown Alley.

Through the window, Norlin could see all sorts of dark magic gadgets decorated inside, most of which he hadn't seen in Borgin Burke's dark magic item shop.

When Norlin was about to enter, Giles pulled Norlin and walked straight into a bar.

Norin glanced up at the sign, a plaque that glowed with magical light read: Misty Bar.

Giles pushed open the door to the bar, and a faint scent of flowers blew in the wind. A few staggering butterflies flew in with the wind, adding a bit of a lazy and jumping atmosphere.

Hell, how can there be butterflies in this place? Norin looked at the butterflies flying in the air, his face confused.

But once he stepped into the bar, he thought he might have found a reason. The bar was warm as spring, and the ceiling had been magically turned into a vast expanse of grass. The warm air constantly emanates from the surrounding walls, and it seems that the cold and the ground outside are two worlds.

He went to the bar counter and said to the teller:

"Hey, Harrison, a bottle of ice wine and a goat cheese."

"You snuck out again? Oh yes, you're in third grade. ”

Harrison is a typical Nordic people, and he looks square and makes people feel safe. He mingled with his wine, turned his head and asked, "What about this guest?" ”

"I'll do whatever I want."

Norlin spent a good time observing the inside of the bar. The tables and chairs in the bar are very straight, most of them are scattered, and students sit in twos and threes inside the bar, drinking and chatting, and the atmosphere is warm. On the chest of drawers next to the wall, music flows slowly from it, soft and comfortable.

However, Norlin felt a chill behind him. He turned his head in confusion to find the teller Harrison looking at him coldly.

"What's wrong?"

Norlin was a little strange, what did he say to offend him?

Harrison spat out hard words:

"I hate the word 'casual' the most, if you want it, don't want it, what is 'casual'? There is no such drink in the world. ”

Norlin was speechless for a while, this Nordic man spoke really straightforwardly, without any mercy.

Seeing this, Giles hurriedly said:

"I'm sorry, I didn't make it clear to him. He's got ice wine and goat cheese too, right, Nolin? ”

"Hmm."

Norlin nodded, not annoyed. He found a platform by the window and sat down, his head propped up with his left hand and looked out of the window.

"His personality is like this, blame me for not explaining it to you in advance."

Giles also walked over and said slightly apologetically.

"It's okay, everyone's personality is different."

Norin smiled and said, "But you, you seem to come to this place a lot?" ”

"My house is near here, and I used to come here a lot. Over time, I became familiar with the places and people in this vicinity. ”

Giles sat down across from him, and Harrison took two glasses of ice wine and plates on their table.

Norlin picked up his glass and looked at it. The color of the wine is transparent and golden, with circles of ripples, flowing in the glass like the rhythm of poetry, giving off the aroma of fruit and honey and a smoky aroma.

"The ice wine here is specially made, and it is very different from the ice wine outside. The raw material is snow grapes, which are unique to the Nordic magical world, and are made by the unique winemaking methods of the Austrians. By the way, can you have a bar? ”

Giles explained, taking a sip and then suddenly asking.

"I don't like to drink much, but I'd love to give it a try."

Norlin said, pouring the liquid from his glass into his mouth. It's like a lump of ice melting in your mouth, and the result is a rich aroma with aromas of dried berries, white pepper and candied apples.

Nolin's eyes lit up. He doesn't usually drink alcohol, but the taste of this wine makes him a little lingering. In his opinion, the ice wine here is on par with, if not better than, Butterbeer.

"As I said, a sip will make you fall in love with this wine."

Giles pursed his lips and said with a slight smugness, "When you come to the village to play, you won't go back without drinking enough ice wine." ”

"So, you started drinking before you were ten years old?" Norlin asked as he felt the wine run down his throat.

Giles smiled, "Isn't this the norm for the Nordic people?" ”
