Chapter 40: Tracking
Chunas did sense malice, and he suddenly remembered the mysterious woman reported by his subordinates, and thought of the evil spirit that might be connected to her and had attacked him before. He had reason to believe that the evil spirit would chase him to Beckland and continue to assassinate him for unknown reasons.
He was worried that even if he joined forces with Admiral Hein, he would not be sure that he would leave that woman and the evil spirit, so he prepared to go directly to the base camp of the military headquarters, where the high-level powerhouses could at least ensure their safety in numbers.
As for reporting the matter to Admiral Hein, it is not important enough, and besides, it is possible to send someone to invite Admiral Hein to the headquarters of the military headquarters and report it again, and Admiral Hein is notoriously good-tempered, unpretentious, and easy to talk.
The military headquarters was a little far from the home of Admiral Hine in Queens, and Chunas had been tense in the rental wagon, ready to fight. He didn't dare to use his abilities to speed up his march, he feared that an accident would cause the enemy to attack early.
It wasn't until near the gate of the military headquarters that the hostility completely disappeared, and Chunas breathed a sigh of relief.
On the other side, Viscount Stafford was planted with a voyeuristic eye and did not act at night.
When it was daybreak, Viscount Steford took off his high-end clothes with the embroidered family crest, changed into formal clothes that matched the status of ordinary wealthy businessmen, and prepared to check for himself how the company was doing.
It's a messy and filthy factory full of cinders and tools, and many people in tattered clothes are processing cinders, turning them into forms that are easy to store, transport and use.
With a look of disgust, the Viscount of Steford walked through the soot-rising construction site and into a fairly clean and tidy building, where several extraordinary people were waiting in the office.
"Is there anything unusual here lately?" Viscount Stafford didn't look very good, and Beckland's weather at this time was the hottest season of the year, and he was slightly chubby and wore a white hair cover, which made him feel even more depressed and irritable.
"No particular anomalies were found, but one worker was missing. After investigating, we learned that he had been with the group since Port Prieds, that he was not a native of Beckland, and that no one said they knew him before, or how he joined the group. ”
"We think that he may be extraordinary, otherwise, it is impossible to escape without alarming anyone, and he must have another purpose for blending into the ranks of the homeless." The extraordinary person who was sent to investigate the anomaly before reported truthfully.
Viscount Stafford became more and more irritable, and continued to ask in a slightly dissatisfied tone:
"Is a new batch of people sent over?"
"Already on the way, we arranged for two people to escort us."
"Hmm...... When will they return? ”
"If there are no accidents, you should be able to return tomorrow, mainly because those people are walking too slowly."
"Let them come to me as soon as they come back! And you, you didn't even notice that there were unexplained peeps in the crowd! A bunch of idiots! ”
Viscount Sterford vented his frustration slightly, and continued:
"As a result of this accident, our factory may have been discovered, and the company should be given a different name, a place to temporarily supervise these people."
"Yes! We'll do it right away. ”
In the midst of their communication, the Voyeur Eye once again changed its carrier.
……
Chunas walked into the military headquarters and was surprised to find that Admiral Hein was also here.
Admiral Hine was a man who stayed at home when he wasn't doing anything, threw balls, and was social, and unlike Cunas, he was a man who enjoyed life very well.
Chunas directly reported the recent situation to Admiral Hein, and hinted that he wanted to invite Admiral Hein to join forces to take down the woman who might still be watching outside.
Admiral Hine did not know whether he did not understand the hint or if he had some other idea, but he directly stated that he was ready to report the matter to the king and ask his majesty to make a decision.
Still as after every meeting with his subordinates, Admiral Hine sent Chunas away with a smile. When the figure of Chunas completely disappeared from sight, Admiral Hine sat in the office, smiling sarcastically, but in an instant he returned to his normal expression, still the elegant and easy-going Sequence Four Demigod General.
Unable to receive assistance from Admiral Hein, Chunas was a little disappointed, but not too surprised. He also knew something about Admiral Hein's style.
Sighing deeply, he did not give much hope for the promise of Admiral Hein, who was gentle and tolerant to his subordinates, but was very unmotivated about work and tasks, and lingered at the ball all year round and did not do business. He believed that Admiral Hine would indeed report, but who knew when it would have to go.
Chunas was tempted to ask for help from his friends, but he did not know who of them was one of his own in this matter, who was also involved in the king's secret mission, and he was not only unable to explain the origin of the enemy, but also risked revealing the secret.
On his own, Cunas sighed again.
I need high-level seals, only high-level seals can meet my needs to improve my combat effectiveness in a short period of time, but I'm trapped in the military department now, and the seals are not Admiral Hein, so I can invite someone to come over at will, but I want to ask someone to apply for a high-level seal instead of me, and ordinary military personnel don't have this authority.
If only there was a magical item that could remotely connect with other people anytime, anywhere!
Contact? Well...... Honorific name?
Thinking of this, he suddenly felt that his eyes lit up, and he thought of an adult who could help him break through the predicament.
I can recite Prince Grove's honorific name, inform him of my situation, and ask him for help.
Prince Grove was present when he received orders from His Majesty the King.
Chunas shut himself in a small room with no one in it, and began to recite Prince Grove's name in a solemn and respectful tone.
"Practitioner of order and rules, executioner of the Sword of Judgment, hunter of chaos, guardian of the kingdom of Rune, Venerable Grove Augustus."
Chunas whispered earnestly three times, and he suddenly felt himself enveloped by the chaotic power of the rules that suddenly rose, and he felt that he was being watched.
He whispered that he was being followed and watched by at least a demigod of unknown origin in at least Sequence 4, who was investigating the disappearance, and that she might have a companion of the same level, and that he was worried that something might happen to the king's mission, and asked Prince Grove for some help.
Suddenly, it dawned on Chunas that Prince Grove would come and join him in ambushing and capturing the mysterious demigod. The two of them are bright and dark, and he leads the enemy, and Prince Grove secretly controls the situation, catching the enemy and her possible companions by surprise.
