Chapter Twenty-Eight: The Traitor Must Die
After Sivir boarded the enemy ship, he first used his powerful psionic power to forcibly connect the hearts of all the crew members of the enemy ship.
"The captain of this ship and some of the top echelons of the navy have betrayed the Empire, and I will bring the wrath of the Emperor upon these traitors, and if they are deceived, those who remain loyal to the Emperor should surrender immediately, and anyone who resists will be regarded as a traitor and will be ruthlessly exterminated by the Emperor's loyal soldiers."
The enemy crew members who heard this were full of shock, how could they suddenly become traitors to the empire, knowing that they were loyally carrying out the captain's orders as usual and contributing their insignificant strength to the empire.
The armed men on board had already assembled and organized the anti-bounce gang to prepare to drive out the unfriendly boarders of Sivir, and now when they heard Sivir's words, they who were coming to encircle and suppress Sivir did not know what to do for a while.
Sivir's side assigned the task, leaving two platoons of troops to defend the breakthrough of the ship, and build a simple landing environment here for the follow-up boarding force and himself. Avoid damage to the fighters caused by the vacuum environment.
Sivir led a platoon directly towards the command room of the opposing ship, and the remaining cathars worked in platoons to control the armed sailors on those ships first, and if they counterattacked, they would be killed immediately.
When the follow-up forces arrive, they will take control of the ship's weapon arrays, life support systems, or vital facilities such as the Void Shield Generator. lest anyone want to die and wreak havoc on the ship.
The reason why Sivir went to great lengths to engage in gang jumping instead of directly destroying the Lunate-class cruiser in space was partly because only a small number of people on the ship had been corrupted by Chaos, and partly because he wanted to recapture the Lunate-class cruiser for the Empire.
Every battleship is precious to the Empire, and the strength of the Human Empire's navy is not strong enough to casually abandon a Moon-class cruiser.
Although the Voyage's torpedo destroyed the ship's propulsion system, by the Cathar the ship had been fully controlled, and it had been pulled to the Casting World's orbital station to tinker with its ass, it would be a brand new ship. This is much easier and faster than rebuilding a Moon-class cruiser.
Sivir sensed the aura of corruption from subspace with his psionic energy, and led the hundred-man cathar all the way towards the enemy's captain's room.
On the way to the captain's room, there were many helpless crew members, and these crew members saw Sivir in gold armor heading towards the ship's command room, but none of them dared to stop him.
Sivir didn't want to entangle with these ignorant ordinary boatmen, as long as these boatmen didn't jump out to find death, Sivir would turn a blind eye to them. At the same time, restrain his cathars and let them keep up with their own pace.
Somewhere, however, in a narrow passage of the ship's cabin, a group of armed sailors completely blocked Sivir's advance. There seemed to be a quarrel among the armed sailors, and there was a heated argument between them.
When Sivir appeared in the passage with the cathars, the sailors fell silent for a moment, exchanging views with each other in silence.
After a long time of silent observation, they still did not have a clear attitude. Neither attacking Sivir nor lowering his shotgun to surrender to Sivir.
Seeing that they were still hesitating, Sivir picked up the sledgehammer on his back and pointed it at the armed sailors who stood in their way.
"My patience is limited, lay down my arms at once! Don't die for the traitors of the Empire in vain! This is your only chance, otherwise nothing but destruction awaits you. ”
When some armed sailors heard this, they looked at Sivir's threatening posture, and hurriedly put their weapons on the ground, raised their hands and leaned against the wall. But there are still some people who still hold the shotgun in their hands and refuse to obey.
"Kryster, take your soldiers to forcibly unload their weapons and keep them in check."
Sivir ordered one of the cathar platoon commanders beside him.
"Yes, Lord Sivir!"
Kleist immediately singled out dozens of soldiers and led them towards the armed sailors with weapons.
The ship's narrow passage was the ideal environment for the use of shotguns, which could fire a large number of projectiles at a low muzzle velocity, spreading death and gore across the front sector.
If the armed sailors attacked Kleist and the others, a large number of Cathar soldiers would inevitably be killed by this small metal projectile in this unobstructed space.
But as if Kleist and his cathars hadn't taken this into account, they headed straight for the armed sailors with deadly weapons. The devotion to faith in the Emperor and Sivir enabled these soldiers to face death without fear.
Looking at the soldiers who were coming towards them with a fierce look, some of the armed sailors who refused to lay down their weapons finally couldn't take the breathless pressure and raised their shotguns to shoot at the cathars.
A large number of projectiles were fired at the cathars, threatening to crash into their bodies, and a transparent barrier blocked the deadly metal orbs.
It was Sivir, who used his psionic powers to block the attack for the cathars. Although the cathars did not care about their lives and were ready to die for the emperor and Sivir at any time, Sivir cared, and he could not let these loyal soldiers die senselessly in front of his eyes.
"For the Emperor!"
Seeing that all the projectiles in front of them were blocked, Kleist and his cathars excitedly shouted the name of the emperor and rushed towards the armed sailors.
The sailors who had fired the guns were frozen in place, shocked by the projectiles blocked by the transparent barrier, and the soldiers who shouted that they were rushing for the sake of the Emperor had already made them guess what stupidity they had done, but there was no way to undo it.
The cathars rushed to the armed sailors, brutally snatched their weapons, beat them, and forced them to kneel on the ground. The sailors who had just fired their guns were blown off in the heads by the cathars with their own weapons.
The shotgun's powerful fire smashed their entire heads to pieces, and the red and white liquid splashed on the sailors around them.
The Empire shows no mercy to traitors, whether it is thought or deed, but the slightest betrayal will be mercilessly judged in the name of the Emperor. Only by showing no mercy to traitors can we deter the weak who are not firm enough in their thinking.
Power and violence are the main means of maintaining this vast empire.
