0350 Master of the Temple of Light

Guangming Temple is located in the southeast of Shangfeng City, on the route to Maijiya Grottoes.

This neighborhood is also the area where the most religious buildings such as temples and nunnery are distributed in the entire Tianshui County, and the noisy morning bell that Li Tai has hardly slept well since he came to Tianshui rings all the way from here, arrives at Maijiya and then returns.

After Li Tai and his entourage left the state city, they traveled east along the south bank of Weishui, and along the way, they could see temple buildings of different sizes every few miles, which were more densely distributed than the dock walls of those township mansions in Guanzhong.

The temples are not surrounded by uninhabited wilderness, but are all owned by the land and industries belonging to the temples, as well as the villages where the monks and monks lived. The densely populated distribution can be said to be second only to the surrounding areas of the state city.

After traveling more than 30 miles, a large-scale and numerous temples appeared in the field of vision, and the temples seen along the way were dwarfed by the one in front of them, which was the destination of this trip, Guangming Temple.

The monks of Guangming Temple also showed enough respect for Li Tai, the newly promoted No. 2 person in Longyou, and the county guard, and the abbot and monks stood outside the temple gate early and waited. In order to ensure that the temple is not harassed during the tour, it has even refused to receive visiting donors and devotees since a day ago.

Greeted by a group of monks, Li Tai strode into the temple.

The pattern of this temple is similar to that of the Guanzhong Temple, the first half is the place where the guests are greeted and worshipped, and different areas are divided by the pavilion corridor, and there are many kinds of scriptures under the pavilion corridor, which carry different Buddhist scripture stories, and some people who are well versed in Buddhism can see it as if they were fascinated, but for a layman like Li Tai, they just feel dazzled and bizarre.

Finally walked through the long corridor under the guidance of the monks, and Li Taicai finally met Master Tan Jing, the master of Guangming Temple, in the scripture hall next to the main hall of the temple.

However, at the moment, Master Tan Jing did not have time to deal with Li Tai, but was sitting on the high platform of the scripture hall to give a lecture.

Its person has a square head and a big face, kind eyebrows and kind eyes, looking at a bit of a Buddha statue, the voice is mellow and quite magnetic, and the scriptures recited by his mouth have a charm that makes people indulge, so hundreds of monks and laymen in the hall who listen to the scriptures are also fascinated by it, and they are completely unaware of the arrival of Li Tai and his party.

When Li Tai saw this scene, he also raised his hand to signal the monks who led the way not to disturb the master's preaching, and he found an empty seat near the door to sit down.

In this way, most of the time passed quickly, Li Tai was already drowsy, and the sound of the lecture on the high platform finally came to an end, he hurriedly cheered up and looked at the stage, and saw that the other monks and lay believers who listened to the scriptures also got up one after another, entered the front to thank the master for the favor of the scriptures, and exited the scripture hall in turn.

Of course, Li Tai would not do this, just stood aside and waited for the crowd to leave.

Master Tan Jing also walked off the high platform with the support of his disciples, came to Li Tai and smiled with his head: "I am tired to make you wait for a long time, last night when I was quiet, I saw people like evil ghosts, fighting for flesh and blood, and I was really uneasy in my heart, and I deeply felt that the disaster of war harmed the world, so I set up a volume of "Golden Light Sutra" today to pray for the four heavenly kings to bless our people. ”

"The Venerable Master is really compassionate and Buddha-natured!"

Although Li Tai didn't care in his heart, he still said respectfully.

Master Tan Jing looked at Li Tai again and said, "The Shamen who made the king is not ordained, I don't think he is a believer in the city. Although the old monk is not talented, he is in charge of the Buddha ceremony in this county, and the donor outside the city listens to a volume of the "Golden Light Sutra", and according to the regulations, he needs to give three liters of Su.

The old monk does not produce, but teaches the masses the righteousness and law of what he has seen, and if he has alms, he will continue the law, and if he cannot, the law will be destroyed. It's not just greedy for floating goods, it's just for the eternal existence of the Dharma. ”

Li Tai's eyes widened when he heard this, what does this mean? Is it to ask Lao Tzu for money? I haven't even ...... yet

He subconsciously looked down at his waist, only to remember that the saber was untied and put away when he entered the temple just now, then he raised his head and laughed dryly, looked at the old monk and said: "I am very happy to visit the famous temple, and I am really lacking in light clothing." I know that the benefits of listening to the scriptures and enlightening wisdom can not be accepted in vain, but this is the ministry authority of the county envoy, but what vulgar wishes have not been fulfilled, I have the right to do it for it, okay? ”

Speaking from the heart, a big monk with such a big name sat on the stage and spoke for an hour or two, although Li Tai didn't understand what he was talking about, but he also had to admit that the economic fees of a handful of millet were indeed quite affordable, and compared with some well-dressed beasts who cheated money and deceived in later generations, it can be described as a clear stream.

But Li Tai is still very unhappy in his heart, this is not a matter of millet! Lao Tzu didn't come here to seek education, and I was forced to buy and sell because I was too guarded by the county, and how presumptuous my means were when facing others?

After the old monk heard Li Tai's answer, his face suddenly stiffened, and after a while, he returned to normal, and then said with emotion: "Looking at the envoy's spirit, I can't help but think back to the old years when I learned Faluoxia, the nobles and nobles of the Communist Party were fortunate to have a good relationship and benefited a lot. Make the gentleman outstanding, the style is distinctive, the famous family is restored, and the old people are happy, give a volume of scriptures, and talk about congratulations. ”

He heard that this handsome young man was talking with a hidden anger and did not look like a good person, so he stopped mentioning the handful of millet, and instead took all the scriptures that were placed on the stage, and handed them to Li Tai with both hands.

This scroll is not an ordinary scripture, but is written on parchment paper with fine silk as the backing, the material is flexible, the surface is delicate and smooth, and the font is also dignified and beautiful, and it is soaked with spices, which is a good work of art in itself. If you add the special significance of the hand of the master of Shamen, let alone a handful of millet on the market, even if the price is hundreds of stones, the corn will not be sold.

Li Tai also doesn't care about his parents' friends being too broad, and all demons and monsters have friendships, and every time he is started with this, he always feels that he is half a head lower than others.

However, he didn't come today to be angry with the old monk, and put aside a little emotion in his heart for the time being, and when the old monk turned to receive him in the main hall, he made a little foreshadowing and explained his intention: "Today's visit, in addition to Master Zhan'ang's Buddha dignity, there is another thing to ask for." In the old year, Heyin was in trouble, and my father was fortunate to be rescued by Tianshui Yan Xin, which was unforgettable for a long time.

Now I am in this township, frequent visits to the township, only to know that the Si people have passed away, only one grandson is difficult to stand in the world, but also escaped into Shamen, living in this temple to practice. I owe the Buddha nature and wisdom, and it is difficult to realize the honor of serving the Buddha, but my heart is burning to repay the kindness, and I hope to lead the heirs of my benefactor back to the world, and I implore the Master to help fulfill this long-cherished wish! ”

When Master Tan Jing heard this, he did not rush to answer, and after a little silence, he spoke again: "This township Yan clan has indeed been worshipping the lord of the temple for a long time, and it is normal for a descendant to come here to seek refuge because of the evil fate of the world. However, the old monk has not ignored the affairs of the temple for several years, and he did not dare to reply to the envoy rashly for a while, and he still needs to instruct the deacon monk to verify it a little. ”

When Li Tai heard this, he nodded, thanked him again, and then said: "This time I came to ask the master, not only to pray for this old love, but also to pray for my father." Father and son have been separated for several years, and there is still no news. If my father knew that I had this opportunity to repay the favor but did not do my best, he would have been heartbroken. So, I beg the Master not to make me unfilial! ”

When Master Tan Jing heard this, his expression couldn't help but change again, and he quickly realized that things were not simple, otherwise Li Tai would not be called a request but in fact a threat, and there must be something tricky and unusual in it.

He did not link Li Tai's visit to the dispute between the temple and the Tianshui Yan clan, after all, this matter had been suppressed for several years, so long that he had almost forgotten about it.

After hearing Li Tai say this, he immediately attached importance to this, summoned two deacon monks, and solemnly ordered them to quickly go to the temple to find a young man named Yan Zheng in the temple, and if they found it, they would immediately attract here.

The two deacons and monks took the order, and Venerable Tan Jing waited with Li Tai in the hall. However, Li Tai himself was not interested in Buddhism, and he was interested in the history of Guangming Temple, and Venerable Tan Jing did not want to talk more about these past philistine schemes, so the scene was a little cold.

After a while, Master Tan Jing was concerned about the separation of father and son that Li Tai had just said, and Li Tai did not hide it, and casually talked about it.

After listening to this, Master Tan Jing first lamented the destruction of family affection by the war, and then said with great interest: "Although the prince is close to his relatives and farewell, he still remembers this old kindness and vows to repay it to comfort his father's affection, and his filial piety is really touching.

I would like to ask, can the envoy ever pray for the blessings and misfortunes of the Buddha ceremony set up by Ling Zun? Many people in Longbian were forced to be separated by the war, and they were reunited safely with the protection of Buddha. Such happy events in the world are passed on from time to time. If you have this intention, the old monk is willing to witness in person! ”

When Li Tai heard this, he immediately wanted to scold his mother in his heart, no wonder this old monk can still mix so openly when he arrives in Longyou, he really loves a line!

I have told many people about this experience, but only this old monk thought of persuading him to use the power of gods and Buddhas to find his father in a blink of an eye. If you want to ask where your father went, it's obviously not a handful of millet that can be done, and before the forced buying and selling attempts, this is a special way to sell filial piety packages to yourself!

Li Tai didn't believe that he could find his father by doing a trick, but just now he was still glaring and threatening the old monk not to harm himself in the name of unfilial piety.

He was thinking to himself about how to respond, when the abbot monk who had greeted him outside the temple hurried in and whispered a few words to the old monk. After hearing this, Venerable Tan Jing apologized to Li Tai, then stood up and walked out of the room with the abbot.
