Chapter 53: Attention
The little badgers were very happy.
They are perennially at the bottom of the College Cup, and because the other three houses have been deducted 150 points, they directly and firmly occupy the first position. This hasn't happened in decades.
Of course, the Hufflepuffs are well aware that the lead is only temporary. Not aside, according to the experience of previous years, when Slytherin's score was behind, Professor Snape would add points like crazy. Don't look at 150 points is a lot, it's a month at most. And the Ravenclaw group of bonus maniacs, if they want to get really serious, may be a little faster.
Gryffindor, if no one cheats, will remain until the end of the semester, and maybe less.
Dozens of people were admitted to the school hospital, which did not affect the normal life of the school too much. Madam Pomfrey was so clever that within two days the young wizards were discharged from the hospital.
It's all magical damage, it's the best way to deal with it, the healing spell and the potion are the right medicine, if Madam Pomfrey hadn't had to observe for a day or two, someone would have been discharged from the hospital that day.
For about five or six days, the eaglets were released by Madam Pomfrey. That evening, there was a big celebration party in the Ravenclaw common room, with the seniors bringing back plenty of butterbeer and candy from Hogsmeade, and Ike getting a lot of food from the kitchen.
Roger and Stewart were surrounded by the eaglets in the middle, raising their hands and cheering loudly, receiving everyone's praise. Delicious butterbeer was delivered to them in cups, magical fireworks erupted overhead, and Ike even used Transfiguration to conjure a shining ball of light, which swirled in the middle of the roof of the lounge, and with Penelope's treasured dance music vinyl records, a good magic school became a nightclub in the blink of an eye.
As the only witch involved in the battle, Autumn received the warmest cheers from the eaglets, and was surrounded by her roommates and the witches of the lower grades, smiling brightly.
Stewart, Terry, Michael, and Anthony were completely let go, and Roger swayed to the rhythm, the cups in their hands were full of butterbeer, and a lot of foam spilled out with the swing, which only made the atmosphere even more enthusiastic.
"Come on! Ike! How could it be without you! Roger shoved a full glass of Butterbeer directly into Ike's hand and shouted, "You're the best!" ”
Ike took the cup and danced with Roger for a while, then quietly retreated from the middle of the dance floor. Leaning back on the couch where he often sits, looking at the group of cheerful eaglets, Ike felt more relaxed than he had ever been.
For decades, Ravenclaw has almost never been involved in a group of this size, and the eaglets are more accustomed to embarrassing others with their wits than with their hands. But in the end, they are all teenagers, who is not strong?
This time, the chaos between the three houses made Ravenclaw shine well, which is also the reason for this party.
The revelry didn't end until the second half of the night, and the common room was in shambles. Ike sends Michael and Anthony back to the dorm before picking up Stuart and Terry back to the house. As for Roger, he was long ago put back by his roommates.
Butterbeer is also alcohol after all, and you will get drunk if you have too much.
Early the next morning, Ike woke up with Stuart and Terry still snoring like dead pigs. Quietly out, the common room has returned to its former cleanliness, completely lost the messy appearance of last night.
The house-elves never disappoint when it comes to cleaning.
After having breakfast in the auditorium, Ike sat down in the old seat of the library again, picked up a copy of "Detailed Explanation of Ancient Magic Texts" and read it.
Just a moment after it opened, a paper airplane landed on the table under Mrs. Pince's deathly gaze. When I opened it, it was Professor Flitwick's invitation.
The dean recruits each other, and don't slack off.
Ike checked out the books at Mrs. Pince's and went straight to the eighth floor with the books in his arms.
Professor Flitwick's office is on the eighth floor of the castle, just halfway between the Room of Requirement and the rector's office. Pushing open the door, it was filled with books and parchment, in a Ravenclaw style.
"Sit down, Mr. Stredder, would you like some cake?" Professor Flitwick beckoned Ike over, pulled a plate of six buttered cakes from the drawer of his desk, and shoved them in front of Ike.
"Thank you, Professor Flitwick." Ike responded with a smile, pinched one and took a bite, it was sweet and soft.
"It's my family recipe, and I'm sure I'm the only one at Hogwarts who can eat such a delicious little cake." Professor Flitwick squinted as Ike quickly eliminated one and backed the saucer, "Another one?" ”
"No, I just had breakfast." Ike touched his stomach, "It's a little bit of a stretch." ”
Professor Flitwick waved his hand, and a piece of brown paper flew out of nowhere and folded itself into a box, and the rest of the small cakes jumped into it one by one.
"Then take it back and eat it, I remember that Mr. Acreel likes it very much, and it is nice to share the food with friends, isn't it?"
"Of course." Ike took the box and placed it on top of the book, and asked with a slight groan, "Professor Flitwick, ...... you called me?"
"Don't be nervous, just talk." Professor Flitwick conjured up two more cups of lemon tea, "Speaking of which, this is the first time we've talked like this. ”
Ike nodded, not replying. Professor Flitwick continued, "Mr. Stredder, I see that you have changed a lot this year, and you get along well with your friends. ”
"Sorry professor, I deducted ...... from the college"
"Don't be sorry, house marks don't matter, Ravenclaw never needed scores to prove it." Professor Flitwick took a sip of lemon tea and grinned sourly, "A lot of young wizards get one thing wrong, the Sorting House just represents a certain trait in a person that is more prominent, not completely qualitative. ”
"Ravenclaw can also have courage, can also find fellow travelers, can also achieve great things, and even I remember that there are ...... who repeat grades because of poor schoolwork"
"Maybe it's because the phrase 'superior wisdom is the greatest treasure of mankind' is too ingrained, but Ravenclaw is not a nerd, Mr. Stredder......"
"We can be more courageous than Gryffindor, more ambitious than Slytherin, and more loyal and upright than Hufflepuff......"
"We just think more, but we don't really make a difference."
Professor Flitwick put down his glass, his expression slightly serious.
"Actually, Mr. Stred, I'm glad you came out for your friends, at least better than you were alone last semester......"
"Don't let magic change you, take control of magic ......"
Ike nodded and replied, "I understand, Professor Flitwick. ”
"Of course, I don't doubt it, you're the most talented little wizard I've ever seen in years." Professor Flitwick replied with a smile.
"But sometimes it's better to slow down a little bit......"
