Chapter Eighty-Three: A New Victim
In the wizarding world, if Ike had to choose the most incredible magical creation, it would be a time turner.
Of course, the Philosopher's Stone that can make people immortal is also magical, and Nicol Lemay lived for more than 600 years with it, but compared with reversing time, it is obviously a time turner that is more "magical".
Isn't there another saying that "time is respected, space is king, power is above, and destiny is supreme"?
Form 2 is a bit more than Form 2, but it's enough to tell.
As far as Ike knew, in the seven school years at Hogwarts, only the third year had access to the time turner, and the prerequisite was to choose all of them.
When a young wizard selects all the courses, they are first reviewed by the professor. After approval, the professor writes a letter to the Ministry of Magic, stating that the student is an exemplary student of character and academics, and will never use the time turner for anything other than studying. After receiving the application, the Ministry of Magic will send personnel to the school to check all the students' grades and records of plus and minus points since they entered the school to make sure that what the professor says is true.
Once everything is well passed, on the first day of the third year, the young wizard will be given a time turner, which can only be used for one year in the third year. If you still want to use it in the fourth grade, you need to continue to apply and repeat the tedious process. And if there is a violation in the process of use, etc., the Ministry of Magic will also take back the time turner, and ban it for life, and in severe cases, even break the wand and ban the use of magic, or receive a one-way ticket to Azkaban.
Ike wasn't sure if he could get a time turner, but after thinking about it, he didn't seem to have done much in the past year or so, and he couldn't fault his grades. If Hermione could get it, she shouldn't have a problem.
As long as the professor doesn't object.
The tension at Hogwarts in April came from the fifth and seventh years as their OWLs and NEWTs exams approached, and the hallways, auditoriums, libraries, and even common rooms were always filled with hard-working seniors with books in one hand and potions in the other.
Of course, the most important month of April for young wizards is Easter, which lasts for two weeks from the 11th to the 25th. However, unlike the Christmas holidays, you are not allowed to go home during the Easter holidays, unless there is something really urgent.
For example, white things......
On Easter Day, the castle was once again renovated. There are all kinds of Easter eggs on the windowsills and corridors, the candles in the auditorium have changed into the shape of eggs, and there are many magical rabbits jumping around in the air.
Unlike previous years, instead of burying Easter eggs in the grass outside the castle for the energetic little wizards to find, the school placed the eggs directly on each student's bedside table. This caused some people to complain, but it didn't stop them from burying the eggs themselves, and then finding them out and making a very surprised appearance.
The dinner was still sumptuous, with plenty of lamb and ham on the long table, and a large turkey roasted to a golden brown with an enticing aroma. The bread and mashed potatoes were arranged in the shape of rabbits, and two cherries were lit as eyes, which was unanimously praised by the little witches.
The most surprising thing was the golden roast lamb, a dish that only appears at large dinners, and it was a little different from what Ike remembered.
But it doesn't matter, the lamb itself is delicious.
In the professorship, Dumbledore's eyes narrowed with a smile, in stark contrast to Professor McGonagall on the side. In fact, except for Dumbledore and Lockhart, the other professors didn't seem to be in a very good mood, especially Snape, who still had a cold face, like an iceberg.
Lockhart was undoubtedly the most excited, dressed in a sky-blue robe embroidered with gold patterns, and was talking happily to Dumbledore, occasionally revealing his glaring white teeth.
With just one glance, Ike focused on the food in front of him. Ham, lamb, mashed potatoes, every bite makes people enjoy it inadvertently squinting their eyes.
This is one of the few times Ike has been completely relaxed in recent days, and all he needs to do is enjoy the food and eat enough.
The lively dinner lasted for more than an hour before people left. Ike drank lemonade and sat on a stool waiting for Stewart to eliminate the last lamb chop on the plate. When it comes to eating, neither Ike nor Terry are Stewart's opponents, and only Michael can compete with him when he's in good shape, and for the most part Stuart is a well-deserved big eater in Ravenclaw's sophomore year.
Of course, expanding the scope to cover the entire academy would not be enough for Stewart.
At least Ron of Gryffindor eats far more than Stewart.
After another twenty minutes or so, Stewart finally ended the fight. Patting his bulging belly, Stewart was very satisfied.
"Let's go, friends! There is also a party waiting for us in the common room! Senior Roger has prepared new fireworks! ”
"I really don't understand why there is a party after every festival dinner, and Roger also prepares fireworks." Ike complained.
"It's his hobby." Terry said with a smile, "Just like you like cockroach piles, at least Senior Roger's preferences are normal." ”
"Isn't it good to pile cockroaches?" Ike muttered, but he didn't say it out loud, and he knew that normal people wouldn't like this strange candy.
Even if it's very tasty.
Leaving the auditorium, the five of them slowly walked to the eighth floor in groups. Along the way, there were groups of small wizards, except for Ravenclaw, which was Gryffindor. It's also easy to tell, it's probably Ravenclaw who walks slowly, and it's definitely the little lion who runs and jumps for a while and talks loudly.
"Are they always so energetic?" Michael watched three or four Gryffindors chase after him, and he was a little helpless.
After more than a year in Ravenclaw, Michael has had some of Kitty Hawk's common problem: thinking that Gryffindor is a bunch of reckless men with muscles in their heads.
Of course, Ike also had a little bit of this thought, and he felt that in the whole Gryffindor, only Hermione was a normal person.
Walking up the stairs to the eighth floor, I hadn't walked far along the corridor when I noticed that a large group of people were suddenly surrounded by three floors in front of me. Ike couldn't help but tighten his heart, and looked at Stewart and the others, with a trace of solemnity on his face.
Walking briskly, he squeezed in, and saw a tall, thin man lying on the ground. His eyes were wide open, as if he had seen something terrible, and there were many fireworks scattered on the ground, and he still had one in his hand, which had been used, and a pink lady's top hat was floating on his chest.
Exactly Roger!
There was also a line of red letters on the wall next to it, which still flashed with a strange streamer, as if blood flowed:
Come to me
This is the first one!
