Chapter 2: The Deadwood View

In the void of tens of thousands of feet on the sea of clouds, countless human figures and beast shadows faced each other from afar.

The suffocating pressure they erupted shattered the wind and clouds within tens of thousands of miles, and the endless void was as bright and clear as a mirror.

On both sides of the confrontation, one side is dominated by human monks, including a few shape-shifting demon beasts. Among them, there are a few demon beasts that have not yet transformed, but they are all imposing, and they are not inferior to the shape-transforming demon beasts next to them. They all stood with a solemn brow and looked at each other with hatred.

On the opposite side is an endless array of monsters. Some of the beasts turned into human forms, some had human heads and beast bodies, and some black-robed monks were mixed in. The number of these people and beasts is several times that of the human monks on the opposite side. They have a common trait, that is, the blood is so thick that it seems to be condensed into substance.

At the front of the herd was a giant with nine human bodies. Its nine heads are snake heads, one of which seems to have been cut off, and the black blood on it is flowing water. One of its serpent's heads was shattered, but its ferocity remained undiminished.

The nine-headed serpent has never been seen for eternity. Nine is the extreme. It is both a "positive number" and a "pole number". The height of the sky is called "Nine Springs", and the seclusion of the earth is called "Nine Springs".

This fang is so imposing that it seems to be able to penetrate the sky with a single breath. It wielded a mace as thick as a ten-man hug, its sharp spikes soaked in the blood of human monks.

"Hydra, do you dare to enter my formation?" At the head of the human camp was an old man in a flaming red robe, led by the human monks. Tens of thousands of monks in the rear looked at him with hope in their eyes. Because of the blow of the old man just now, the hydra was hit hard for the first time.

For the first time since the Hydra ravages, humans have wounded it head-on. This scene made the human monks feel that Hydra was not invincible, and it was a great encouragement to them. Perhaps, the old man can lead them to defeat the Hydra, and even recover the land trampled by the demon beasts. A glimmer of faith is slowly nourished among the human monks.

Seeing this, the pale-faced old man showed a wry smile on the corner of his mouth. His eyes couldn't hide the look of exhaustion, and there was a trace of red blood flowing from the corners of his mouth. His spiritual power had already been consumed by the huge blow just now. He thought that he could kill the Hydra by using this unique technique that had been passed down from the family, but he didn't expect that this guy seemed to be far beyond the level he knew.

"How can this continent be so wicked...... Looks like we're all underestimating its strength! The old man sighed softly.

Maybe only "it" can subdue Hydra. The old man thought of the origin of the formation, and couldn't help but perk up. He looked at the Hydra on the other side with a solemn face.

"Nine Monarchs, this array is the Nine Turns Lock Demon Array of human beings. It is left by the great power of ancient human beings, and it should not be underestimated! "In the demon beast camp, a black-robed human monk heard this and looked at the dense land in front of him, and then his face changed drastically. He flew up to Hydra and looked at Hydra with a smile on his face.

"Humph!" When the hydra heard this, the dissatisfaction in his eyes flashed, and he waved his hand casually. The black-robed man flew out like a meteorite.

In the distance, the black-robed man struggled to his feet, nonchalantly wiping away the blood from the corners of his mouth. When he looked in the direction of the human monk and the hydra a hundred miles away, a sinister smile appeared on the corner of his mouth.

"Human child, Hugh provokes me, I will join the battle!" The hydra threw its head back and laughed wildly, brandishing its giant mace and rushing forward, followed by a dense network of monsters.

The old man glanced at the people beside him, and the others nodded their heads with firm eyes. Their fingers pinched like butterflies, and streams of powerful spiritual power were transmitted to the void in front of them. Suddenly, a huge formation with a radius of nearly a hundred miles suddenly appeared, enveloping all the swarming demon beasts.

"One turn!" The flame-red-robed old man saw that the formation had been completed, and his face was overjoyed. He slammed the trick in his hand and shouted loudly.

I saw that the formation turned violently, and a flood of desolation emerged from the formation. Suddenly, huge groups of blue wind blades appeared in the array, cutting indiscriminately towards the demon beasts in the array. The wind blades shimmered with a faint white light, each erupting with a thrilling aura.

The sound of "click" and "click" sounded continuously. Under the attack of the wind blade, all the demon beasts fell like wheat. When the monks outside the array saw this, their faces all showed joy.

"This?" Suddenly, someone exclaimed.

Everyone looked and saw that part of the wind blade had attacked the hydra. But these wind blades are like stones thrown into the sea, and like tissue paper cut into a hard steel plate, there is not the slightest trace of its body.

The hydra in the array casually scooped up a group of wind blades and sent them to their mouths, chewing "boom". He looked at everyone from afar, and his eyes were full of banter. And the tenths of the demon beasts that were strangled by the formation, it didn't seem to care.

All the human monks, including the black-robed monks in the demon beast group, were all shocked when they saw this.

"This is just a turn, look at the changes in my formation!" Seeing this, the old man shouted loudly.

When the human monk heard this, his spirits perked. It is said that the Nine Turns Lock Demon Array has nine turns, and each turn has the ability to destroy the heavens and the earth.

The old man looked back, looked around at the people around him, and then at the countless monks behind him. Everyone nodded in unison, their eyes determined. Then countless spiritual powers shot in unison towards the formation in the sky.

"Second turn!" The old man shouted in a deep voice.

After the colorful spiritual power reached the formation, it caused ripples on the formation wall. And the formation suddenly darkened, and the wind blade disappeared in an instant. There was a sudden silence in the formation, and the silence was terrifying. There is no time in it, all colors and flavors disappear, and time and space seem to have reached the chaos before the beginning.

The only eight remaining heads of the hydra were miniaturized, and there was a rare fear in its eyes. The other monsters behind it looked at each other in horror.

"Ticking", a drop of water the size of a bean grain descends from nothingness.

This drop of water fell on a demon beast that had not yet transformed. The beast's eyes were confused by the water droplets that suddenly fell from the void, while the other monster beasts could see that its body had been dissolved. When the beasts saw this, they raised their eyes to the sky, only to see countless droplets of water in the sky pouring down like torrential rain. The demon beasts in the array suddenly rioted.

Drops of water fell one after another. Whenever the low-level demon beasts in the array came into contact, their bodies were instantly melted away. Some high-level demon beasts were pierced through their bodies, and their bodies became like sifting holes, and they let out a terrible roar.

The hydra dodged repeatedly, but a drop of water landed on its palm. Its hand flicked wildly, trying to shake off the droplets, but the droplets lingered like appendages. In an instant, its palm was dripping through, leaving a bright hole of blood.

The hydra was terrified and roared in pain......
