Chapter 139: Prelude to chaos
"You can't believe that Hermione lives with that guy!" Ron, whose face was still swollen, said as he showed Harry the poster he had won.
"Who? Ike? Harry didn't pay much attention to what Ron was saying, his attention was more focused on the World Cup Viewing Guide in his hand.
"Of course it's him!" Ron's anger was all written on his face, mixed with some inexplicable emotions, similar to that of a child who was petty after being robbed of his playmate.
"It's not something unusual." I don't know when Ginny, who was sitting on the sofa in the living room, suddenly spoke,
"The two of them had this last year, and I heard that Ike even stayed at Hermione's house this summer."
"It's almost a month!"
"Oh my God, a month! Can you imagine what both of them did! Ron exclaimed.
"Yes, yes!" Rarely, Ginny echoed Ron,
"And they still live together, and the two of them will even go for a walk together!"
"Well, I've seen it, they're very close." Luna, with a strange pair of glasses, suddenly interjected.
"I think we need to talk to Hermione, that guy isn't a nice guy." Ron suggested.
"Ron Weasley, I advise you not to do anything stupid." Ginny immediately retorted,
"How they have nothing to do with you!"
"But......" Ron was about to say something, but Harry pulled him,
"Okay, didn't we say we'd go shopping? It's time to go. Ron, who was still a little emotional, walked into the small market in the camp and left all those things behind.
He enthusiastically introduced Harry to the history of each team and the stars of the team, recommending what to buy and what to deceive Garon.
Everyone bought something, even if they had already bought a lot of it in the previous few days. Harry, who visited for the first time, was the most spendable, and even brought him a copy of the few things that Ron was greedy for but didn't buy because of the price, which made Ron very excited, and his face turned a lot red.
The group was laughing and laughing, and suddenly, Ron stabbed Harry.
"What's wrong?" Harry asked. Ron didn't speak, just pouted in one direction. Harry looked at it, but it was Ike and Hermione.
"He seems to have grown a little taller." Harry looked at Ike, who was obviously a lot taller than him, and his tone was inexplicably sour.
At this moment, Hermione saw Ginny and Luna, who were waving at her, and responded happily as well, pulling Ike over with her.
"Harry, when did you arrive?" Hermione asked.
"Not long after I arrived, Ron was showing me around." Harry replied, then looked at Ike,
"Long time no see, Ike."
"It's been a long time, Harry." Ike smiled comfortably, but didn't say anything more, just stood quietly beside Hermione, watching her whisper to Ginny Luna.
The girls were chatting hotly, and the boys were slightly embarrassed. Harry didn't know what to say, Ike didn't like Quidditch was known throughout the grade, and he was on the fly
"Talent" and his level of magic are simply two extremes, and this topic is certainly impossible to say.
Talk about something else? In fact, their relationship is just a nodding acquaintance, and they don't have a deep understanding.
At least that's how Harry did to Ike. Not to mention Ron, he was seen through by Ike at a glance when he wrote everything on his face, not to mention that Ron had a deep prejudice against Ike a long time ago, and the two of them had nothing to say.
"Maybe we can go buy some drinks?" After a few moments of embarrassment, Harry finally broke the ice.
"Okay." Ike replied with a smile,
"When we came over, we passed by a drink stall, there were a lot of people, and it should have tasted good."
"So what are you waiting for? Let's check it out! Harry clapped his hands, drawing the girls' attention,
"Ladies, we're going to buy some drinks, what do you want?"
"Sweet!"
"It's cool!"
"Chocolate milk!"
"Okay." Harry answered, and then said to Ike,
"Let's go." After a while, the three returned, each with two drinks in their hands.
Harry's gave Ginny's, Ron's gave Luna's, and Hermione naturally took the chocolate milk Ike handed her, but only took a sip and stopped drinking it, just holding it in her hand.
"Why don't you drink it?" Ike asked quietly.
"There is no soul." Hermione sighed quietly.
"Then let's wait to get back."
"That's all it can be." The six of them wandered around for a long time before they dispersed. Not long after returning to the tent, Harry came over.
"Mrs. Weasley, please come over and dine together." Harry said.
"Okay, wait a minute, Harry." Ike said and went back to his room, and soon walked out with a gift box.
The Weasley tent is very much in line with their family's characteristics, very rustic and very lively. But if you have enough eyesight, you can see that there is something extraordinary in it.
The old carpet underfoot is a product of the Safavid period of Persia in the 16th century, the style of the furniture is Elizabeth I, and the cutlery is a little closer, but also a product of the Victorian period.
After all, it is a family that has been handed down from ancient times to the present, and the background is not bad at all, and the Weasleys are just down-to-earth.
"It's the first time I've come to the door, it's a gift for you, a gadget I made in my spare time." As he spoke, Ike opened the gift box,
"A flask that can be conjured into wine just by pouring water, of course, it doesn't taste very good, I hope you like it."
"Oh, you kid, why do you still bring gifts?" Mrs. Weasley smiled and took it, welcoming the three of them in, and then placing the flask on the shelf behind the table.
The atmosphere of the dinner is very good, and in fact where there are twins, there is bound to be laughter.
This relaxed, warm atmosphere made Ike miss a little, and finally showed a heartfelt smile.
In the days that followed, the hospitable Weasleys contracted three meals for Ike and Hermione, and they were mostly in the Weasleys' tent all the time except for rest.
And just like that, it was finally the day of the finals. At the Weasleys' request, Ike sold the two tickets he had bought and went with the Weasleys to the top box, at the top of the stadium, facing the golden goalposts.
Sitting in the first row, Harry and the others were in the corner of the two seats. One sits a house-elf, the other is empty, but Ike senses a familiar fluctuation of magic.
Obviously, Barty Jr. is here too.
