Chapter 293: A New Experience in Potions Class (1)
Hermione pushed open the door to Snape's office with a heart full of concern, and stepped out, her face back to her usual appearance.
Walk through the corridor on the basement floor and up the spiral staircase to the eighth floor, and after confiscating the Weasley's Magic Tricks toys from the hands of the two first-year freshmen at the door of the common room, he pretends to scare them like quails.
Back in the common room, Harry and Ron were at their desks battling their Defence Against the Dark Arts homework Snape had left behind. Leaned over and took a look, but it wasn't a third of the way through.
"You're back." Ron saw Hermione and immediately dropped the quill in his hand and asked, "How's it going?" Is that old bat hard for you? ”
"Nope." Hermione shook her head and sat down directly next to the two of them, "He just threw me a book to read there, and let me come back when the time came." ”
Hearing this, Harry also breathed a sigh of relief. He felt that Hermione had been confined because of him, and that it would be very annoying for him if he suffered anything more from it.
Sighing, his gaze casually swept over what Hermione was holding, and asked, "How many new students did you catch just now?" ”
Hermione casually put the toy in her hand on the table, and Ron next to her immediately took it. She didn't care, and said to Harry, "Dumbledore said that the Weasley Magic Trick Workshop stuff wasn't allowed to appear in the school, there was no way, who let them be seen by me." ”
As he spoke, he spread his hands.
"As much as I think Fred's stuff is funny, school rules are school rules."
As a repeat offender of school rules, Hermione's words sounded harsh and uncomfortable to Harry, but he wouldn't argue with Hermione over such a trivial matter.
What is it impossible to win?
They talked a little more, and Hermione went back to her dorm. Parvati and Lavender had washed up and were sitting cross-legged on the bed, talking and laughing.
Hermione said hello to them and went to wash up. When she came out, the two were still talking. Listen to it a little, it's all about love.
Without saying a word, Hermione sat down at her desk, took out two small notebooks from the pockets of her robes, and when she tapped her hand on them, they immediately grew larger, and knocked a bottle of ink directly to the ground.
"Smack!"
Parvati and Lavender followed the sound and saw Hermione wave her hand with a recovery spell, and the inkwell flew back to the table intact. I looked at it again, and I saw the two big thick notebooks.
"New?" Lavender asked.
Hermione snorted, didn't turn her head, and casually opened the one on it. Seeing this, Lavender raised an eyebrow at Parvati and resumed the conversation.
Their relationship is not close, especially since last year, and it has basically been limited to polite pleasantries. At the time, Hermione was all about magic, and even with a time turner, she was always busy.
Even close friends, a period of estrangement can be awkward, let alone Hermione?
Gradually, they formed a tacit understanding: Hermione would do her own thing, and Lavender and Parvati would not bother.
Or maybe it was ignored.
This is also a little good, at least Hermione doesn't have to worry about her things being turned over, but she doesn't forget to set up defenses, after all, there are many things in it that can't be exposed.
Like the two resurrected Dementors in the suitcase......
When it was time to turn off the lights, Hermione put down her notes, raised her hand and cast a spell and climbed into her bed, by which time Lavender and Parvati had fallen into a sweet dream. I slept peacefully, and when I woke up again, I was still the first to wake up in the dormitory.
There was no feeling of exhaustion or lack of sleep, and Hermione was used to it.
After a quiet wash, I put the two notebooks into the pocket of my robe with a shrinking charm, and then chose the textbooks to be used in the morning, and left the dormitory directly.
After reading a book in the common room for a while, Harry and Ron yawned.
Looking at their messy clothes, Hermione waved her hand and used magic to help them tidy up, and the tightness of the neckline also made the two of them feel a lot more energetic.
"Hermione, I don't know what I would do without you." Harry said, pulling the neckline, "Of course, it would be better if it could be lighter. ”
"If you were lighter, you wouldn't have come to your senses." Hermione stood up with a thick stack of books in her arms and walked with them towards the auditorium.
They weren't together in the first class of the morning, but the Transfiguration in the second session was meant to be together.
There are still a lot of people who choose Transfiguration, a few more than the Defence Against the Dark Arts class. At first glance, it is not much less than in previous years.
Professor McGonagall is still strict, and it is much more difficult to move up the class. At the end of a class, only a few people didn't feel that they were listening to the book and kept up with the rhythm.
"Passing the OWLS exam is not the end, the S exam is related to your future employment!" Professor McGonagall said sternly after assigning a large pile of homework.
"Don't think that if there are fewer lessons, it will be easy, S and Owls are completely different levels of difficulty! When it's all right, you'll only have two years! ”
"Nervous, students!"
Harry and Ron only felt dizzy and left the Transfiguration classroom as if they were running away, only to recover after lunch and a good night's sleep.
"So, you two didn't do any of your homework?" Hermione asked, looking at the two of them.
Harry and Ron looked at each other, then shook their heads in unison. Seeing this, Hermione just sighed softly.
Over the years, she had long since gotten used to it.
"Bring everything from Potions class, and don't leave anything behind." She gave an instruction, and saw the two of them hurriedly turn around and run towards the dormitory.
Of course, Ron was the only one who went back to pick it up, and Harry didn't have anything at all, waiting for Professor Slughorn to sponsor him.
They had followed the route they had known for the past few years to the Potions classroom, and by the time they arrived, twelve or thirteen students had gathered in the hallway outside the classroom. There were four of Slytherin's, including Harry's nemesis Malfoy, but his two henchmen, Crabbe and Goyle, were missing, and it was supposed that the OWLS did not meet the target.
Ravenclaw also has four, Michael, Anthony, Terry and Mandy, who are acquaintances of Harry, and even more so who also attended Hufflepuff last year, Ernie McMillan.
As soon as they had said hello and chatted, the classroom door opened, and Professor Slughorn walked out with a big belly and let them in.
The classroom was filled with steam and strange smells. In addition to the podium, there were only three large tables, each with a large crucible on the table, covered with a lid, and you could smell the aroma when you got close.
