The Nine Turns Inner Dan Technique is a Taoist qigong health preservation method created by Chen Pu. According to records, Chen Pu, the number of Chongyong, the late Tang Dynasty and the beginning of the fifth dynasty, received the Tao from Zhongli, and Lu Dongbin at the same time, wrote "Mr. Chen's Inner Dan Decision", contained in the "Orthodox Daozang" under the women's name, and covered by later generations. Chen Pu's Neidan technique is quite distinctive, it is based on the theory of viscera meridians in traditional Chinese medicine, and there is very little mysticism; its exercises are different from the general, not first to open up the Du Mai, but focus on the Ren Mai all the way to the exercise, from the first to the seventh turn, the range of activities is always up and down between the heart and kidney Sanjiao, until the eighth turn from the mud nine over the spine, from the top along the Du Pulse down, back to the Dantian; The method of cultivation is specific and detailed, the effect is certain, the parts of the internal qi that run through the acupuncture points, how to breathe and breathe, how to collect the essence of heaven, earth, sun and moon, step by step, unambiguously, and turn around. It can be seen that this skill is a record of Chen Pu's internal refining and a summary of experience. Ordinary people do it according to the law, and the cultivation will be greatly beneficial to the body and mind for a long time, although the "ascension" is nonsense, but it will also produce essential changes, beyond ordinary people, this is the "immortal", the so-called "inner dan", is formed by the human body's inner kidney essence and qi. The heart hides the god fire, the kidney hides the essence of water, the heart and kidney intersect, the water and fire are both good, the spirit is combined, the qi is in it, the three treasures are refined, that is, it becomes the inner dan. "The work of Neidan begins in one and becomes in nine...... Turning into nine, nine is the extreme of the yang number, and the number is nine, then the Tao fruit becomes the fruit", from one to nine, it means that things will change qualitatively after a certain amount of change. Internal refining starts with the qi of the gall, "Heaven and earth are angry and sprout in the spring, all things can be born after they are angry, people are angry and hidden in the gall, people can be angry, and then the inner dan achieves the gong of turning." In the process of internal refining, it is also emphasized to follow the cultivation method of the operation of heaven and earth, the sun and the moon, and the law of yin and yang. A specific combination of natural climate variables, i.e., a combination of basic natural conditions such as climate, season, geomagnetism, light, etc. It is essential for human life activities, and is closely related to the biological clock that regulates life rhythms and controls growth and aging in the body. At a specific time of the solar term, exercising according to a special method can gradually change your physique and return to the best state of life.
The first turn is to descend Dan
Practice: Choose the time at the beginning of the second and third watches every day (around 23 o'clock), eat a small amount of food first, avoid excessive hunger and fullness, wash and calm the mind, reconcile the mind, and eliminate distracting thoughts. Then sit cross-legged, close your eyes and concentrate your mind, wait for the breath to enter and exit and mix evenly, first roll the tongue upside down to fix the two orifices at the base of the tongue, hold your breath, and gradually feel that there are two qi in the left and right sun meridians rushing up from the root of the big tooth and running through the two temples. After each time, open your eyes for a while, then close your eyes again, repeat the method as before, and wait for the qi to stop at the top of the mud pill palace. And so it goes, three times a night.
Effect and precautions: After traveling for a few nights or days, gradually feel the qi flowing into the brain from the mud pill palace, along the throat through the spine, stringing the tail, and penetrating the bile umbilicus to the heart and chest, feeling that the chest is warm and comfortable, which is a sign of the decline of true qi. After practicing for a few more nights, I felt the qi reaching my heart, and the warmth in my heart moved slightly, and this warm qi went up from my heart, through my throat, and under my tongue. The slight feeling of bitterness in the mouth is a sign that the courage is rising, the yin and yang are harmonizing, and the inner dan will descend. At this time, you should pay attention not to be disturbed by people or animals when practicing, and you should place a small table in front of your seat, in case you suddenly feel that your body is getting bigger, your spirit is excited, and you gradually feel that the mountains and rivers of the house are in your body, and your hands and feet do not know where they are. When this happens, hold the table with your hands and close your eyes. At this time, you may feel that a ball of light in your heart is falling into the lower dantian like the sun, which is the embodiment of the decline of the inner dan. Do not open your eyes immediately after Dan descends. Gradually collect your thoughts, then rejuvenate your limbs and open your eyes. Ginseng soup can be taken internally if conditions permit, and hot porridge can be drunk in the morning, and hot porridge can also be drunk alone if conditions are not available. After raising it for one or two days, the first step of the Dan Lowering Exercise was completed. The Dan Gong has the effect of eliminating all kinds of diseases and increasing physical strength.
Second, it was handed over
Practice: At noon on the ninth day of the lunar calendar (the same below), the nineteenth and twenty-ninth days, sit in the meditation room, cross-legged eyes, and knock your teeth nine times. After the mind is stable and the inner atmosphere is harmonized, then the method of resting is practiced. Take one breath and one breath as the breath, and each close is eight or nine breaths. - Closed finished. Slowly open your eyes, resume breathing, and then perform the breath-holding method as before. At the beginning of closing, the number of breaths can be as little as two times, five times after gradual familiarization, and nine times after extreme proficiency.
Effect and precautions: When the law is practiced, when the method of resting is very proficient, it is the time when the body is full of fire. At this time, the conscious heart is warm, the four bodies are comfortable, the heart is moving, and the hot air flows down the dantian, which is a sign that the inner Dan enters the dantian. Dan Qi gradually formed, and when meditating, there was divine light coming out of the eyes, which was Dan Guang, and the physique was further strengthened.
The third is to raise yang
Practice: In the middle of the night on the sixth, sixteenth, and twenty-sixth days of the first month, after washing, enter the meditation room and sit upright, cross your knees, knock your teeth six times, and concentrate on your eyes. Those who are in the breath can not exhale slightly. Every time you enter six breaths, and so on six times. In the middle of the night on the day of the end of the moon, sit cross-legged in the ashram with your eyes closed and your feet cross-legged according to the previous method, first massaging the top door with your left hand and the tail □ with your right hand, each 49 turns. During the massage, hold your breath tightly until you are full, rest for a while, hold your breath again, and massage again, and so on three times.
Effect and precautions: After doing the exercises, the heat in the five organs is like fire, which is the time for the fire to be practiced. On the 26th or at the end of the moon, the left flank is shaken, or there is a slight sound, and a hot air crosses the dantian and goes straight to the right flank, and its heat is like fire, and it disappears after shaking for a long time. If you meditate and look inward, you can see that there is "a pearl under the left flank, like the shape of a fire wheel", and you can also hear the sound of harmony between heaven and earth. In addition, some physiological changes can also occur, such as the reduction of two stools, only more than ten times a month, the male genitalia gradually shrink, and the stomach and intestines also feel miniaturized.
Fourth, turn to raise yin
Practice: In the middle of the night on the 6th, 16th, and 26th days of the first month, after washing, enter the meditation room and sit with your eyes closed, knock your teeth 36 times, and calm your mind and close your mind. During this period, the breath is different from the previous one, so that there is no breath in the nose, until the body is filled with true qi, the qi penetrates the tongue, and the mouth is overflowing, and then slowly swallows it, and the mind returns to the heart. The liquid of returning to the heart stimulates the fire of the heart, warms the whole body, the five organs feel hot, the body sweats slightly, and the limbs are comfortable. And so on again. Every 26th day, do this three times and stop doing it.
Effect and precautions: After this exercise, you can feel a sound like thunder on the right flank, and the hot air flows into the dantian, and the fire in the nose bursts out. After the completion of this exercise, when meditating, you can feel the divine light of Neidan emitting from the top door, like a bright moon, enveloping the body, and the body is not afraid of cold, heat, wind and frost, and the four seasons are the same.
Fifth conversion bone
Practice: At noon on the ninth, nineteenth, and twenty-ninth days of the first month, face south and knees, close your eyes, and sit facing the sun. Wait for the qi to be settled, close the breath so that there is no contact with the qi, fill the inside, the mind inside and outside the true fire communication, - the body is red up and down, and the light is full of sitting. After twenty or thirty minutes, I gradually felt that a cool air (real water) from the dantian ran through my heart, like a ball of crystal in my heart. Then open your eyes and breathe, inhale the breath of the sun from your nose to the sun, and return your thoughts to your heart, which is stirred with the true water. And so on ninety-nine eighty-one times.
Effect and precautions: Absorb the sun's Chinese qi and return to the heart, and the real water is excited, you will feel the heart pneumatic, and the dantian is like a fish surging and jumping. After three years of this work, you can be reborn, and you will only feel that you sweat like white paste at night. This reaction, Chen Pu believes that "all bones disappear with sweat", and calls it "yang sand for bones".
Sixth, convert meat
Practice: Choose the fifteenth day of the month in the middle of the night, after washing, sit on the full moon, close the day and cross your knees, reconcile the breath, and then close your mouth and close your breath, the true qi of the mind is full of the six intestines, the true qi of the kidney in the body and the qi of the moon essence in the air communicate with each other, and the body is as clear as crystal, clear and clear. Twenty or thirty minutes later, I gradually felt a hot air (the fire of the heart) descend into the dantian, like a fire wheel in a glass dish. Then slowly open your eyes and breathe, inhale the breath of Yuehua from your nose to the moon, and think that it will be returned to the dantian, and the Yuehua Zhenming will stimulate the dantian true water, water and fire intersect, like the shape of a boiling pool, and stop doing this for 8864 times.
Effect and precautions: Absorb the moon and return to the dantian, and the real water of the dantian is excited. I feel that the four bodies are sweating, and the pulses are comfortable. In this way, after two years of meritorious deeds, you can exchange for "mortal meat". According to Chen Pu's saying, the essence of the moon is incorporated into the dantian and becomes a "yin powder". -After a few years, its "yin powder" turned into the flesh, and its reaction was "but I felt that purple blood was often replaced with qi in my urine and urine".
Seventh, the internal organs are transformed
Practice: This skill needs to be practiced in an absolutely quiet and pure environment, according to Chen Pu's requirements, "far away from the world, deep in the mountains and among the rocks". After the practice environment is selected, sit in meditation, close your breath and concentrate, and cut off the breath of your mouth and nose, meaning that your true yin and true yang are handed over to your abdomen and returned to the four bodies.
Effect and precautions: After practicing the seven turns for a thousand days, you will feel that the top door is open, and the red and black gas comes out, which is the embodiment of the five internal organs being replaced by tire gas and the tire gas diverging. When you feel that the top door is closed, it is a sign that the tire gas is exhausted and the seven turns are complete. According to Chen Puzhi, at this time, the body will appear bright during the day, the color is like ruby, and it can even fly in the air. If the Dan fire is too strong and the five internal organs are hot, you can bathe in water on the 9th, 19th, and 29th days of the first month, and at this time, you can see that "the true Dan is bright, like the shape of a fire wheel" comes out of *; Practice until the eighth turn, and then you can not take a bath.
The eighth turn is to nurture the fire
Practice: The practice of Neidan to the eighth turn, it forms a stable internal connection between the upper and lower tongues, through the mouth, and the lower belly and navel, which Chen Pu called "zone", like the umbilical cord of the baby. If the Dan fire is internal, when the five organs are hot and dry, that is, close the eyes and sit down, after the breath, the mind and mouth are connected to the "zone", and the breath is inside. The real water of the dantian is growing. On the ninth day, when the true water reaches the throat, I feel that the inner dan is immersed in this water. In the middle of the night, sit and rest, suck this water into the mud nine senses, go down along the Du vein, cross the spine, and return to the dantian.
Effect and precautions: After the success, the internal fire returns to the truth, and there will never be heat poisoning.
Ninth Turn "Ascension"
The work is nine turns, and there is no way to do it, let it go. "The fruit of the road is round". Chen Pu described: "Nine turns of the free Dao are all fruit...... "Nine days of auspicious clouds", in fact, the body is clean, there will be no disease, the old man will return to his childhood, and his health will reach the highest level.
Based on the above-mentioned key points of Chen Pu's Nine Turns of Neidan Technique, ordinary people should practice one, two, two, and four turns to enhance their physique and prevent common diseases; As for the eighth and ninth turns, it is beyond the reach of ordinary people, and the treasure of the iceberg needs to be picked by special people.
