Self-ordering
It has been a few years since I ate literature, during which I have read many theoretical articles that are either clever or not very clever or seem to be clever but are actually not clever, and now I recall them, most of them have been forgotten, and I have never forgotten Mr. Ye Zhicheng's "If I Were a Writer" that I read ten years ago. Subsequently, I have discussed with my husband several times that the retrospective of this "self-expression" must have a process of finding oneself, and the retrospective of the pre-expression must have a problem of maintaining oneself and developing oneself, and in the end, a writer should exist in the world with an independent personality, a unique style and the irreplaceability of the characteristics of his works. Mr. Yes.
It's not so easy to do. That precious "self" is very easy to disappear. Generally speaking, when a talented and creative writer first rushes to the literary world, he always has his own fresh or profound life breath, which either comes from the wilderness, or from the forest and grassland, or from his own dreamy perception. They may not have been mature at the time, but they were full of energy and surfaced as their own "self". However, it is disappointing that after they surfaced, the fashion culture surrounded them, and many people's "selves" became a public image because of the temptation and assimilation of the fashion culture.
Therefore, I thought that as an assertive writer, I should have the ability to resist the alluring fashion culture. It is not easy to absorb the nutrients of fashion culture, and it is also not easy to resist the temptation of various fashion cultures. Just as absorption is necessary, so is repulsion. If I had to choose between pursuing fashion culture for public identity and rejecting fashion culture and maintaining a flawed independence, I would rather choose the latter. For, though the latter is flawed, it is myself; The former may be applauded, but it has no self. Of course, if you do this, you may be ridiculed for being "blind", or you will be seen as "outdated", and you have to be mentally prepared.
However, who can never be left behind and always stand at the forefront of literature? There is a popular song called "I don't understand until I'm 30", and I also understand after 30: literature itself is a process of continuous elimination, just like a marathon run, there will not be a few people who can run to the finish line and get medals, and the vast majority of people will be eliminated in the process of this competition, and sometimes, there may be no great people in an era. However, what if you can't be a "great man"? It is valuable that you participated, with your personality and conscience, and with your "self" that never conformed to kitsch, and that was good.
Therefore, I still adhere to the literary ideas of ten years ago, express myself tenaciously and even brutally, without any banner, and never take sides under any fashionable literary or cultural banner, I do not give orders to anyone, and I will never obey anyone's orders.
It is the preface to the collection of "Great Victory".
