Chapter Ninety-Eight: We Are Born Free
In a dark, cold, quiet cell, the sound of chains swaying suddenly sounded.
The voice rang for only a moment, and then vanished.
After an unknown amount of time, the guards came to the prison with a dim lantern and knocked on the steel door with an iron rod in their hands.
"Red Cloud, tomorrow your opponent will be the king from the eastern United States, Ben Francis Huyint!"
The dim lantern cast a dim light, and in the dark cell, only a faint figure huddled in the corner.
A chuckle came from the cell:
"The king of boxing? Heh, is it a boxing champion with a gun? β
"No, Red Cloud, this time you will face a truly respectable opponent!" "Ben-Francis Huynette is a great boxing champion who has beaten all his opponents and won all the championships when he has been on tour of Philadelphia, Baltimore and New York," said the patrolman. β
The voice in the prison asked, "Then if only he had a good show on the East Coast, why did he come to Fort Laramie?" β
"Rebirth: The Great Age of Waves"
"Of course it's because of you, Red Cloud!" The guard said: "For the boxing king Ben, money is no longer important, he values honor more. Red Cloud, you have won twenty-five fights in a row and become a veritable No. 1 warrior among the Indians, as long as you defeat you, 'Ben' will become a veritable world boxing champion! β
The voice in the prison continued, "What if he hadn't defeated me?" β
"Haha!" The Ranger laughed, "You know, under Ben's fist, whether it's a Russian like a white bear, or an Australian like a kangaroo, whether it's an African who is 2 meters tall or an Asian who is as agile as a monkey, none of them are his opponents - but he really hasn't fought Indians before, so Hongyun, you're his first Indian opponent!" β
The voice in the prison said, "I should be honored to say that, right? β
"Or else?" The patrol said, "Cherish this opportunity to fight the world champion, if the big guys are happy, maybe they will put you back with your father." β
Voices inside the prison fell silent. After a while, he asked again: "Will this be a fair fight?" β
"Of course, of course fair!" The patrol replied, "There will be an absolutely fair fight between you, and neither you nor he can carry any weapons. β
"If I win, you're going to let my dad go, aren't you?" A voice in the cell asked.
"Of course, only you can win, you can do whatever you want." The Patrolman said, "Tomorrow's rules are different from usual, though. You need to wear special gloves and do not attack your opponent's lower body, throat or other vital parts. β
"So where can I attack?" A voice in the cell asked.
"Chest, back, and hands, it's fine." The Patrolman replied.
"What if I accidentally attack somewhere else?"
"There will be professional referees in the game, and if you break the rules, you will be punished accordingly." The Patrol said.
The voices in the prison fell silent again. After a while, he asked, "I guess Ben-Francis Huint must be a tall man, right?" β

"Hah, how do you know?" The patrol asked in surprise.
There was a sigh from the prison and he said, "Because of this rule, it is obvious that it was made for tall people!" β
The guard laughed, picked up the lantern and turned to leave.
"Anyway, I've notified you, you get ready!" "Don't let them down as you turn around and say that there are many Indians who are your supporters, who consider you invincible and who call tomorrow's battle 'The Duel of Indians and Whites'!" β
The guard turned, and just then, he heard the sound of the cell door opening behind him.
The steel door made the sharp sound of rubbing against the steel shaft, even if the person who opened the door was very careful, but it was still clear and distinct in such a prison that was as silent as a dead field.
Patrol guard Huo Ran turned his head, but found that when he turned around, his body was grabbed from behind and lifted high.
"Who?" The patrol shouted loudly.
The lantern in his hand fell to the ground. A giant palm just gently pinched his hand holding the horse lantern, as if it had crushed all five of his fingers, and the horse lantern in his hand involuntarily lost control.
"Alas!" A sigh came from the patrolman's back. "I wish you were telling the truth!"
"What really?"
The patrol was terrified, but he still forced himself to calm down, not to think about how the red cloud got out of the steel cage, but to think about how to save his life now!
"How I hope that tomorrow there will be a fair duel, so that I will have the opportunity to prove that we Indians are not a bad race, no worse than anyone else!"
"I wish you could do what you say you would, and let my father go as long as I won. He was so old and sick that he had never been willing to hit me before, even if he sometimes used a stick on me, but it didn't hurt at all. Alas, if he had used to be harder and more ruthless, and simply broke my leg, maybe he wouldn't have watched me be beaten to death by someone else today! β
"I also wish that the gladiatorial arena of Fort Laramie would be as fair as it proclaimed! We are being treated with hostility and insults everywhere in the world, and I thought I could earn a face for us with my fists! β
"But, I know, all this is just 'hope'!"
The patrol was held in the air and struggled hard, but then gave up on the ridiculous act.
Now his enemies are behind him, and besides, this is a gladiator who has won twenty-five consecutive victories in the gladiatorial arena of Fort Laramie, and has returned victorious against lions, rhinoceros, and even strong men in full armor!
The Patrol didn't think he could break free from his clutches.
"Listen, Hongyun, you let me down first!" The Patrol said gently, "Violence is not a solution to the problem, we all live in a civilized world, be reasonable, Red Cloud." β
A sneer came from behind the patrolman, "You are always like this, when I want to reason with you, you talk to us about violence, when I want to talk to you about violence, you want to reason with me. β

"That's not the case, Red Cloud!" The guard said, "Let me go first, I promise, I will open the iron door outside, and set you free!" Really, I swear! β
The guard felt himself spin and fall backwards, his legs grabbed left and right.
He was so frightened that he screamed, and hurriedly shouted: "Don't be impulsive, Hongyun, I'll give you freedom!" I'll give you freedom! I swear I'll give you freedomβah! β
A scream rang out, and the horse lamp that fell to the ground was covered with a cloud of blood mist.
The two asymmetrical corpses squirmed the ground, trying to go both ways and regroup. But a huge paw stepped between them, allowing red, green, and yellow to overwhelm the paw.
"Freedom? We are born free and don't need you to give it! β
In the silence of the cell, Red Cloud's voice was as calm as the giant paws of his feet.
