……
I looked at the calendar, and since the book was opened in April, I didn't expect that nine months have passed in the blink of an eye, and I looked at the total number of words in the article - 850,000 words.
As an amateur, an amateur novice writer of online literature, my first reaction is to feel: Wow, I'm pretty good, I can still type so many words with the keyboard in my life.
Like a dream.
Then the joyful thoughts were immediately pulled back to the ground by the gravitational pull of reality.
"How did I write such a thing?"
As an online writer who serves a small number of readers, I am reminded of the anxiety and anticipation I felt when I was chasing more favorites in the past......
I would like to sincerely apologize for being incompetent and unprofessional in writing the book. A writer who is barely a beginner can not guarantee the most basic number of updates, which is also irresponsible for readers and friends.
In fact, looking at the soaring word count and grades of several writers in the same period, I also used to lie in bed and sleep until half of the night to get up and code words, but the result is very unassuming, often this is a waste of time.
Well...... I can only say that I will continue to work hard in the new year, in terms of writing books, I feel more and more that my experience, energy and innovation are limited, and it is not easy to open a larger copy in the world of "Under One Man", which has a strong sense of reality, and it is very easy to lack stamina or even collapse the character. Coupled with the more absolute problem in the setting of the main character, the book can only transition in the form of a relatively bland daily essay at this stage, with occasional ups and downs, but this style will continue for a considerable time.
Looking back on the past year, I can say that the biggest turning point of the year was the release of the first chapter of the book on April 21st, the day before that, I looked at the dust that had accumulated on the balcony, nestled in the corners, inconspicuous but fluttering, and I thought that one day the wind would carry them away.
I think I know what kind of pen name I should have.
I once wrote a letter to my future self in the mailbox, to the effect that in the past year, has my mediocre and chaotic life changed?
Now I'm happy to give myself an affirmative answer at that time. I can say that it was writing books that changed my life, and that change continues.
At the same time, I am also lucky, dear readers and friends, your feedback of encouragement and tolerance is like a catalyst for my ordinary life. I tapped on the keyboard, and behind all the emotions, my heart actually regained the hope of the future life like a child.
Thank you.
Once again, I wish you all a Happy New Year!!
