23. Communication with Malfoy
"Slytherin!"
When the Sorting Hat called out the name, Lynn saw Harry's mouth open wide, and the polite welcome to the previous freshman at the Slytherin table came to an abrupt end.
They wore black robes with dark green trim, and all of them had a reproduction-like coldness, reserve, scrutiny, and slight disdain on their faces.
Lin An understands——
A true pure-blood family, everyone exchanges names, and in order to ensure the purity of the bloodline, they generally do not marry far away. Especially since he looks like a half-breed and his name is like a half-race.
It seems that, as the story says, non-purebloods are not going to be very popular in Slytherin.
That's not a problem at all, though.
Lin An raised his hand to put the sorting hat back on the bench, and then walked calmly to the Slytherin table with his head held high, and successfully found a place for the new students to sit down.
There was a moment of silence at the table.
No one spoke.
Lin An didn't care.
After a day of running, she was also tired.
However, this apathy did not last long, and with another shout of "Slytherin", the blonde Draco Malfoy was like a proud white peacock, walking towards the long table in high spirits.
The students gave a round of applause and a warm welcome.
Draco Malfoy didn't have a choice, the tables were seated one by one, and he sat next to Lin An.
As a girl, Lin An's innate developmental advantages made Lin An half a head taller than him, and when he looked sideways at the moment, Draco's shoulders and back were very flat when he sat down......
The demeanor of the aristocracy, to put it bluntly, is good-looking.
She retracted her eyes with appreciation, but saw that the little young master looked at her with the same arrogant expression as on the train:
"I remember you, Muggle-born half-blood."
He remembered Wood's Muggle clothes.
"Harry Potter listens to you," he said, furrowing his brow in a sinister pose. However, he is too young, his snow-white skin, bright but meticulous hair, and a few freckles on his face make him even more cute:
"Shouldn't you go to Gryffindor?"
Lin An smiled slightly (it took a lot of effort for her to keep herself from laughing):
"Harry and I are good friends, and it doesn't matter what house we are in. Everyone has their own path to follow – hello, I'm Lin An and I'm from China. ”
Draco was visibly surprised.
Well, he actually knows his attitude. It's hard to imagine that this hybrid in front of him would want to befriend him in such a casual and affectionate tone.
But I have to say that the identity of the other party as a "friend of Harry Potter" makes this exchange a little more weighty.
Draco Malfoy felt a hint of ...... Weird, winning over Harry Potter's pride.
So he raised his eyebrows again, and also stretched out his palm reservedly:
"I'm Draco, Draco Malfoy."
Lin An suspected that she had held that hand with the mentality of looking at cubs, but she soon found a more important topic:
"You know...... I mean, an aristocratic family like yours should be familiar with house-elves, right? Can you tell me if the house-elves in the Hogwarts kitchens can serve meals to their students individually? ”
"Or, do they cook Chinese food?"
Lin An looked at him very seriously: "After all, British food is too unpalatable. ”
Draco Malfoy's face flushed instantly.
- because of anger.
