33. Defence Against the Dark Arts

The first day of school was reasonably scheduled.

The first class is a transfiguration class, and the second class is a sleepy history of magic.

Professor Binns fell asleep in front of the fireplace in the faculty lounge, and when he went to class the next morning, he forgot to bring his body with him.

He was indeed very old, and every time he went to class, he kept talking in a monotonous and boring voice, and even Lin An and other scholars couldn't help but yawn, and then scribbled down the key points in the rows with a Muggle pen.

It wasn't until the bell rang for the end of class that she felt refreshed.

The next lesson was a great pick-me-up—it was Professor Flitwick who was teaching Charms.

He was surprisingly small and cute, and Lin An gestured at it, probably just over a meter.

Professor Flitwick was teaching the first lesson in the Standard Spell, Lumos.

The Lynn had practiced countless times in private, and Draco could prove just how good she really was.

However, a textbook is a textbook, and pondering by oneself is pondering by oneself, and Professor Flitwick's systematic teaching is another matter.

From the intonation of the voice, the accent of light tones, including the gestures that go with it, the magic works......

Lin An worked hard to write and decided to practice in this way in private, to see if he could learn new methods to make the transformation of magic more smooth.

After all, this is a valuable teaching experience at Hogwarts!

And when Professor Flitwick excitedly added twenty points for her—for the fluorescent ball in her hand that could be tossed around like a real thing, he said excitedly:

"You're talented! The magic is also very powerful - oh, even better than the average adult wizard! Maybe one day, the Lumos you light up will light up the whole of Hogwarts! ”

Lin An didn't know this sentence, he said it to every class of students. But she extracted an important message from it:

When the magic power is strong enough, a mediocre fluorescent flicker can penetrate the entire three-dimensional space!

Her heart was full of fighting spirit.

……

But the next course was a pity.

It's Defence Against the Dark Arts.

Professor Quirrell stammered with a huge scarf, filling the classroom with the smell of garlic.

Lin An, who learned the plot, was not very afraid-

The Dark Lord was still cautious when facing the students in the early stages, and until the end, he didn't want to kill the students, but wanted to keep as many wizards as possible.

Although this can't cover up his evil deeds, as a student, Lin An feels that he is still very safe.

Even if it's a "regent" that can peek into memories and thoughts, no one can't think of using it on students, right?

You know, not everyone has a curse.

She was full of anticipation: if the Dark Lord possessed him, there would be something different in the course, right?

But no.

Maybe it was just a false lie, or maybe it was because of the Dark Lord's possession, Professor Quirrell finally stammered about the origin of his scarf—

A gift from an African prince as a thank you for helping him get rid of the entanglement of resurrected zombies.

But there isn't a shred of detail enough to refer to.

The Slytherin collectively laughed, believing that this guy was yet another man of lies.

Lin An sighed.

……

She went to the library with her heavy bag on her back, determined to do nothing else, and to prepare for her senior homework—such as learning the spells of "zooming in" and "zooming out."

Otherwise, these heavy magic books and her equally heavy notes would be too inconvenient.

On the first day of school, students were quite cautious about their homework.

Especially Slytherin.

Young Master Draco hesitated for a moment, but finally kept up with her

As soon as she and Draco moved, the entire Slytherin freshmen hesitated for a moment, and then slowly followed.

For a moment, it was as if they had come to the library for classes.

The appeal of the strong, as well as the guiding power of the noble family, can be seen in Slytherin.

When Lin An turned around, he couldn't help but be surprised for a moment.

Today's homework is basically in class, she has completed it all, and now she goes to the library just to prepare.

And having mastered the trick, she only needed to know the chanting and focus of the mantra, and soon shrunk the schoolbag on the table to the size of a matchbox.

Then the wand flicked, and without even making a sound, the bag became as big as a suitcase.

It was exactly the size and appearance of what she had in mind.

The Slytherin freshmen stared at their parchment scrolls - they hadn't even finished their homework yet.

Lin An felt satisfied.

Until this time, looking at the silent long table, as well as the same dark green student robe and badge, it was rare for her to have some thoughts of taking children in her heart.

So......

"Have you mastered today's lesson?"
