211. Leave it to posterity

On the silk book left by Confucius, there is a recipe.

An article to practice the Qi method.

Although I had never seen this recipe, with years of research on Qi, I could see through its effect at a glance.

And this is not an ordinary Qi practice.

There is a modified method of inducing Qi, a diagram of the optimized route, a method of urging Yuan Qi to integrate into the body, and some conjectures and theories about "using Qi".

I saw a shadow of the recipe I was compiling, but it was obviously more mature and complete than the one I had compiled myself.

Confucius...... It is worthy of being a genius.

I was begging for something I couldn't accomplish in my life, and it took him less than two years.

Just took the seeds from me, and a giant tree was cultivated.

I follow the method described in the recipe to induce Qi into the body, and then run the week.

This practice was really different from usual, the Yuan Qi was surging and growing in the meridians, and the original meridians couldn't withstand this level of Yuan Qi passing through at the same time, and they were torn apart by the rising pain.

But the mantra says that this is normal.

The meridians can be slowly warmed and strengthened through Yuan Qi, or they can be broken and then established.

I endured this pain, and after two and a half weeks of practicing Qi, I controlled the angry Yuan Qi to rush towards the sea of qi.

Immediately afterwards, the sea of qi broke through.

I felt the whole world suddenly open up in an instant.

No, not cheerful, but I saw things that I don't normally see.

I saw it in my body.

Inward-looking.

I looked inwardly at a dry seabed.

Before I could think about it, a sense of emptiness came over me.

There seems to be a hole in the body that is constantly thirsting, and even if all the current Yuan Qi is filled into it, this hole cannot be filled.

Hara.

That seabed is actually in my dantian!?

I took up the modified Xingqi method and pumped a large amount of Yuan Qi into my body to fill the seabed in the dantian until the feeling of emptiness slowly disappeared.

Look inward.

The dry seabed in the dantian has turned into a vast sea of Qi.

Am I considered to have succeeded in practicing Qi?

Perhaps.

Am I having fulfilled my agreement with the Spirit King?

I do not know......

Looking at the handwriting on the silk book in my hand, this practice of Qi seems to be laughing at my life's hard work, and it is not as hot as some people's heads.

The world is so unfair.

But now I am grateful for this injustice.

It is because of this injustice that someone will be able to solve the problems that have plagued me all my life.

When I left the inner vision, I noticed that the scene in front of me had changed.

Become both strange and familiar.

If I'm not mistaken, the last time I saw this was decades ago......

It was a huge fireball.

It appeared in front of me again.

Just like last time, it had an inexplicable attraction to me, and I felt an uncontrollable desire to touch it.

Unlike last time, I controlled myself and didn't reach out to touch it.

I didn't know how long I stayed in the void with the fireball, until a huge sense of detachment came, and I saw a flower in front of my eyes, and I returned to the human world.

As soon as I returned to the world, my feet were weak and I sat down on the ground.

Weakness and hunger in my belly.

My eyes were black, and I didn't know how long I had been in that place.

However, it is not a short time to think about it.

A thin layer of dust fell on the table in front of him.

I looked inside my body and found that all parts of my body were protected by a layer of Yuan Qi, and the Qi Sea in the dantian had disappeared and returned to the appearance of the seabed.

It seems that it should be the Yuan Qi in my body that saved my life, otherwise I would have been starved to death.

I managed to find the dry food from the cupboard that I could still eat.

After filling his stomach, he practiced for a while, and filled the dantian again, and then went out to find the nearest family and asked the time.

Seven days have passed!

After seven days without food or drink, it's no wonder that he woke up like that.

It took me a while to recuperate, but fortunately, my physique also increased, and my physical condition quickly recovered.

The days that followed were unhurried and unhurried time of practice.

It wasn't very long, but I did spend a full seven days with the fireball.

Without touching the fireball, I wasn't in awe.

Just like when Yin Xi didn't touch the fireball, but he still got the Qi Channel, I also got the same thing.

I learned of the date of my death.

Heaven is really good at playing tricks, and I just received the news of Kongqiu's death, and then I knew the date of my death.

It's hard to say if God is joking.

But whether it's true or not, I choose to believe it.

I'm running out of time, and I still have a lot to do during this time.

The first thing was to confirm Ge Tian's theory.

I found some of the best of my former students.

Yin Xi, Yang Ziju, Xin Yu, Geng Sangchu, and Bai Ju.

The reunion of master and apprentice after many years is naturally indispensable to a scene of excitement.

But I'm in a hurry.

I know that today's Yin Xi has become a patriarch; also knows that Yangziju has changed his name to Yang Zhu, and is regarded as Yang Zi, the founder of a theory.

Xin Yu accepted a disciple named Fan Li; Gengsang is obsessed with the way of health preservation; Bai Ju is an official in Zhou.

These disciples have their own futures, but I don't have time to praise them now.

After teaching them the Qi practice written by Confucius, I let them go home and send me a letter every month to inform me of the progress of their practice.

The cold comes and the summer comes, and the autumn harvest is hidden in winter.

In just one year, Yin Xi broke through the sea of qi one step ahead of everyone, realized the sense of Qi, led Qi into the dantian, and became a cultivator.

Not only Yin Xi himself, but also many people in the Louguan Dao he founded have embarked on the path of cultivation.

This is not surprising to me.

Yin Xi has been using the Qi method all year round, although the Yuan Qi introduced into the body does not walk in the meridians, but it is also subtly transforming his body, so that his body can better adapt to the changes brought by Yuan Qi.

There are also many disciples in the Louguan Dao he founded who have learned Yin Xi's method of spitting and have been leading Qi for a long time.

Therefore, after obtaining the practice of Qi compiled by Confucius, he should have been the first person to embark on the path of cultivation.

This is not enough to prove anything.

In the second year, Yangziju, Xin Yu, and Geng Sangchu entered the Tao successively.

Among the group of people back then, only Bai Ju had not been able to break through the sea of qi.

But this is not a question of Bai Ju's qualifications.

It's just that because he is an official of Zhoudu and is usually busy with government affairs, he delays his cultivation.

Unfortunately, none of them saw the fireballs.

But the disciples began to practice one after another, which also proved what Ge Tian said at the beginning.

I was indeed wrong.

Maybe it's because of the preconceived notion that I should feel the qi before I can start practicing.

After all, even I have to feel Qi first.

Even Qi can't be perceived, and even Qi doesn't know what Qi is, so how can you talk about inducing Qi to do Qi?

But I forgot one thing.

If you can't perceive Qi, at most you have a mistake about Xingqi, but you can have no obstacle to Qi.

Yoon Hee is the best example of this.

The original version of the Qi method was improved from Yin Xi's method of tuning.

Even if Yin Xi couldn't feel Qi back then, he could still rely on his instinct to attract Qi into his body.

That's telling.

It's just that at that time, I was focused on the method of inducing qi, and I didn't pay attention to this.

Or rather, I noticed, but didn't care.

As it turned out, Ge Tian's inference was correct.

Feeling Qi is not a deliberate thing, as long as you practice step by step, break through the sea of qi, and open the dantian, that Qi feeling will naturally occur.

But this reasoning, while correct, overturns some of my previous speculations and leads me to another problem.

Why did I feel so angry in the first place?

At first, I only knew about the existence of Qi, but I didn't start practicing.

This does not conform to the logic of normal people's feelings.

I carefully reflected on the process of feeling Qi between me and the disciples, and found a difference.

Fireball.

Could it be that fireball is the reason for my feelings?

What the hell is that fireball?

However, I did not delve into this kind of question, which was destined to go unanswered, because my time was running out.

In the third year, the only remaining Bai Ju finally broke through the sea of qi and opened the path of cultivation, and it was also this year that Ge Tian's mourning period expired and returned to Pei County.

I saw Ge Tian again.

Compared to the last time he left, he is much more mature now, as if he is already a humble gentleman who does not smile.

It's not as broken as it was back then.

Still, I miss the days when he broke his mouth.

Ge Tian came to my place and worshipped me as a teacher.

I didn't bother him with those three questions.

In this way, Ge Tian became my only personal disciple, the successor of the mantle.

Our master and apprentice began to study the notes left by Confucius.

At the end of the book of practicing the Qi method, there are many conjectures about the use of the Qi method.

For example, what uses Qi to constantly strengthen every inch of the body, so that the flesh is sanctified.

For example, what is it that uses Qi to hook the soul and manipulate the consciousness of other beings?

For example, what is it to inject Qi into words, trying to enhance their power?

For example, what is it to inject Qi into objects and try to control them with your will?

For example, what lures Qi out of the body and turns into an entity......

There are so many of them.

Unfortunately, these methods are only conjectures and theories, and there is no specific way to implement them.

This is also the only flaw in this practice.

At the end of his Qi practice, Kong Qiu wrote, "I have a lot of time to do this, but I don't want it to be so tedious, so I ask Li Gong." ”

I......

There is no recruitment, and the dead are greater.

Ge Tian and I spent three years studying the conjectures left by Kong Qiu, but because we didn't have basic technical support, we only scratched the surface of everything.

Forging method, talisman, imperial object, condensation......

Ge Tian is very talented, not only helped me a lot in research, but also integrated the practice of Qi into the Qimen Dunjia, and developed a kind of Qimen Bureau of arranging troops.

In addition to my research on the use of Qi, I have also researched a few other things.

Two of them are more important.

One is the origin of Qi.

In my later research, I discovered that Qi is not confined to the outside world.

Actually, Qi is born from the human body.

It's just that as you get older, if you don't embark on the path of cultivation, Qi will continue to escape and leave the human body.

Theoretically speaking, if you start practicing Qi when you are a child, you can break through the sea of qi even if you don't have to exert too much effort.

This continues until the age of five.

After stepping into the practice, in addition to introducing the outer Qi into the body, one can also refine the internal Qi.

But that's a different way of doing it.

I didn't go deeper, but left it to Ge Tian to study.

I'm running out of time and shouldn't be wasting it in this kind of place.

I believe that with Ge Tian's talent, he will definitely be able to produce results.

The second more important study is the role of Qi.

Qi is not something that can only be used for cultivation.

The magic of it is that they make anything extraordinary.

Give Qi to words, and words have power.

Assign Qi to an item, and the item will be controlled.

Give Qi to the body, and the body will become stronger.

All things can be endowed with Qi.

And what if the ethereal soul is given to Qi?

What if time is given to Qi?

What if the Tao is endowed with Qi?

What will happen?

I don't know, it's just some kind of speculation, just like the problem that Confucius gave me, I left him to Ge Tian.

Another year, I felt the arrival of death.

Suddenly, I saw a huge fireball.

I summoned Ge Tian to the window and asked him to write down what I said.

And so, there is this letter that you have seen that has crossed the river of time.

What year and month is it?

Haha, I guess not many people remember me.

Or is it that everyone in the world is singing the praises of my name?

Who was the emperor of the dynasty?

Is that guy like him to be as famous as he said?

In today's world, can there still be dragons wreaking havoc?

Do you know what Lian Qi is?

If you know, it proves that the efforts of the old man have not been in vain.

If you don't know, it means ......

I still haven't been able to fulfill my promise with the Spirit King.

Revive the Terran ......

It's too hard, it's too hard.

But I never wanted to give up.

Descendants, if you are a Terran, or if you have a Terran heart, then please take this letter and go to find the descendants of the Ge clan.

Descendants of Ge Tian.

Ge Tian said that he would build a big clan, the kind that everyone knew.

I believe in him.

If you know, go find them.

Mine, Kongqiu's, Ge Tian's.

Everything we have is left to you.

Please help me complete my agreement with the Spirit King.

Revive the Terrans!

May the mountains and rivers be safe and the human race will be prosperous.

Li Dan's pen.

——

This is the last thing left by the master.

Since then, both of my teachers have been gone.

As you might have guessed, I'm Ge Tian.

In the next life, I will build a large clan and leave the life's work of me and my two teachers in the clan to pass on from generation to generation.

To be honest, I don't know if I'm going to make it.

But both teachers believed in me.

I calculated another hexagram for myself, and the hexagram was the same as the previous two times.

But I'm still a little worried.

Leaving only my inheritance is somewhat unreliable.

So I found a few brothers.

If there is no Ge family in later generations, then there will always be Yin's, Yang's, Xin's, Geng's, and Bai's.

Even if it is gone, there is still the Louguan Dao left by Senior Brother Yin Xi, the Health Dao left by Senior Brother Gengsang Chu, and the whole sex left by Senior Brother Yang Zhu.

These places preserve the legacy of the teachers.

Remember, revitalize the human race!
