Chapter 49: A Woman's Sigh

Hogwarts Library,

Rove carried a bottle containing fireflies and wandered around the forbidden area.

The forbidden book area is housed in a large square room with dark wood floors and ceilings, and tall bookshelves filled with magical books on all sides of the walls.

Rove scanned the room in the dim glow, searching for a catalogue of books—a bound encyclopedia labeled the entire collection of the forbidden section.

The catalogue helps Rove quickly understand the types of books in the restricted area, and he is ready to take a look to see if there are any books he needs.

When you come to the forbidden book area, I don't know if you can catch silverfish, but you can't go home empty-handed.

It's just that when he walked to the end of the forbidden book area, he didn't find the forbidden book catalog, but on the last shelf, he saw a huge transparent magic cabinet.

Rove looked through the magic cabinet and found an old leather case, apparently used to protect the large ancient book.

There are words on the outside of the box, but they are illegible.

As Rove observed, a magical creature with silver-gray scales and nine whiskers at the end of its abdomen poked its head out of a book.

The silverfish sniffed vigorously, the smell of books and the heaviness of history, it closed its eyes a little intoxicated, and then slowly opened its eyes and came out of the book.

The silverfish leaped to its feet, like a seal that had swooped down on the surface of the water, and landed in the cowhide book with a graceful flick of its tail, rolling merrily in the words, devouring the words and the magic.

The whole body also emitted a brilliant golden light.

Rove's eyes kept on his spell book, and he flicked the mouth of the bottle, the firefly bug's tail flashed, and then he patted the box.

It's up to you, sniff!

A sniffer sprang out of the box, jumped high and lunged forward, its paws stretched out a meter above the ground, like a small wild cat landing lightly.

When the silverfish saw that the sniff was coming, it immediately came out of the book, jumped to the side, and penetrated a thick pile of magic books without hindrance, preparing to escape from the scene of the crime.

Sniffing its paws, it rushed out, it climbed on the bookshelf, and when it stepped on a magic book, it shook left and right a few times, stabilized its body, and then continued to climb upwards.

Rove hurriedly reached out and grabbed the falling magic book, which spread out in a terrible, creepy scream.

The boy gave it a big pocket, knocked it unconscious with another punch, closed the book, and inserted it back into the bookshelf "gently".

Hermione and Shirley, who received the message, had already arrived with bottles, and each released the sniff that Rove had given them.

The silverfish shuttled through the library at such a fast speed that it was like a small but condensed golden thread, followed by three persistent sniffers behind it!

The sniffers are as sturdy as apes, tossing and turning from bookshelves to bookshelves again and again.

Exhausted from the chase, the silverfish rushed to the magic cabinet containing the ancient books, and as it was about to get inside, a sniffer spiraled and grabbed it in mid-air.

Rove rushed over, but the sniffer put the silverfish in his belly pocket and refused to hand it over.

"I'll trade this for this." Rove pulled out a large, shiny piece of brass.

The sniffers like to judge the price of something by the size of the shiny object, and it compared the large silverfish in its hand, glanced at the big brass in its palm, and immediately agreed.

Rove grabbed the silverfish and was about to take an observation, when a gust of wind blew, and all the books in the forbidden area suddenly turned the pages and made a loud noise.

The rows of bookshelves that stand like ribs protruding from the walls, coupled with the sound of books turning the pages, give people a strange feeling, as if the whole library is alive.

Rove was instantly creepy.

For suddenly in his ears sounded a woman's sigh, very low and light, as if the wind was blowing.

"Are you a Hogwarts student?"

"Who?" Rove asked in a loud voice.

It's just that the voice is intermittent and quickly fades away.

Hermione and Shirley walked over, and Shirley asked, "What's wrong?" ”

"Do you two hear a woman's voice?"

Shirley and Hermione both shook their heads.

Rove frowned and looked at the dark library, but the voice had completely disappeared, as if it had never appeared.

……

……

In the room,

Malfoy's eyes widened as he stared at Harry Potter who was at a negative distance from him.

Are the two kissing?

Probably.

Malfoy was overwhelmed, and all he remembered was that he had just stuck out his tongue as if by magic.

Ron struggled to pull Harry up like a turnip, separating the two, and Malfoy came back to his senses, immediately grabbed his throat, and yelled:

"I'm going to kill you, Potter! What have you done, you bastard!! ”

Harry was retching on his stomach as he screamed, "I'm going to kill you!" ”

The two hugged each other again and pinched each other.

Ron would love to mix doubles with Harry, but it felt like it was raining in the room, and there were wet droplets of water falling on him.

He raised his head and let out a terrible scream.

When Harry and Malfoy heard this, they both stopped, and looked up, only to see a large, monstrous dog looking at them.

The dog's body was the size of a room, and it had three heads, three pairs of dripping and turning vicious eyes, and a snort from its mouth, which fell on the three of them.

"Ahhhh

……

……

Filch hugged Mrs. Loris and walked briskly towards the corridor of the restricted area on the fourth floor.

He could already hear the noise in the library on the second floor, but he was going to grab Potter and Weasley before going back to pack up another group of nocturnal wizards.

There are so many prey tonight!

"Where did they go, Peeves?" Filch, who walked into the corridor, didn't see anyone, he frowned and said, "Hurry up, tell me." ”

"Say 'please.'" Peeves floats in mid-air.

"Don't mess with me, Peeves, where have they gone?"

"If you don't say 'please,' I won't say anything to you." Peeves said in his annoying humming tone.

"Okay...... Please tell me. ”

"What words! Ha ha! I told you that if you don't say 'please,' I won't say 'anything' to you!" Ha ha! Hahahaha! ”

Filch cursed Peeves in exasperation as he turned to leave, when Malfoy let out a groan and opened the door and rushed out, Harry and Ron close behind.

The three-headed dog slammed into it, and a head squeezed out of the door, and it let out a roaring sound, staring at the three escaped little wizards.

"There are monsters!" Malfoy shouted, immediately hiding behind Filch.

Harry and Ron escaped, also slumped on the ground with their hands and feet limp.

Filch looked at Lu Wei, who was stuck in his head, and said with a smile: "This is a treasure from Professor Dumbledore, and they all warn you not to come to the forbidden area, disobedient ......"

He pulled out a handcuff and grabbed Harry and Ron's hands, and said with pity:

"Go and destroy the three prize showrooms to sabotage, and trespass into the forbidden area, go! Come with me to Professor Snape!!

He'll be glad to see you both. ”
