Prologue: Origin

A swordsman, walking in the dark mud.

The swordsman's face was full of exhaustion.

I don't know if I'm worried about what happened before I came here, or if I'm anxious about what I want to do next.

He looked around and saw an endless stretch of silt and a radiant sky above it.

In the far distance, the two meet, and the dividing line where heaven and earth intersect is born.

With each step the swordsman took, the mud's attraction on him increased, as if trying to drag him into the darkness.

The swordsman struggled, pulling his feet out of the mud with all his strength and walking forward.

Finally, he came to the end of this place, where heaven and earth meet.

Where white and black intersect, there are several chains that bind a teenager tightly.

The boy's whole body was deep in the mud, and he was locked by the chains that pierced into the mud, and on top of the mud, only a godless face could be seen.

The swordsman was in a lot of thoughts at the moment. He seemed to want to say something, but he didn't.

He pulled the sword out of its scabbard on his back.

When the sword was unsheathed, the heavens and the earth began to shake.

The aura in the sky began to converge, forming small whirlpools around the sword body.

At the same time, the mud beneath the swordsman's feet began to flow in reverse, as if trying to force the swordsman out of the place.

The swordsman took a long breath and made a decision.

He slashed forward with his sword in both hands.

In an instant, the heavens and the earth shattered.

With that, the chains that bound the boy were broken.

The swordsman stepped forward and picked the boy up from the mud.

The boy fell asleep in his arms.

The swordsman turned and walked in the direction he had come, the scene behind him blurring and dissipating.

Walking to the entrance, the young man in his arms opened his eyes.

"No need to say sorry." He said with a smile. Then he passed out again.

"yes, after all..." The swordsman muttered.

At some point, his eyes were soaked with tears.

At this time, his heart was as firm as a rock.

This famine year should also come to an end.

Beyond the entrance, there was a gray sky shrouded in dark clouds.
