Chapter 32: Allergies
As soon as Dr. Tara received a call from Mrs. Hana, she rushed to Aiden's house.
She didn't have any arrangements for today, so she was able to get to Aiden's house quickly.
When Aiden enters the bedroom, he sees Dr. Tara examining Anya.
Anya's face turned pale, her eyes were closed, and her body fell limply on the bed.
Hana stood beside Dr. Tara, anxiously awaiting the results of the test and Aiden's arrival.
Aiden walked briskly over to Dr. Tara, and Leas followed him, "What's wrong with Anya?" Why did you suddenly get sick?"
Dr. Tara took the stethoscope out of her ear, hung it around her neck, turned her head to look at Aiden, and asked, "It seems that this is an allergic reaction, has the patient eaten any food that he is allergic to?"
Hearing the results of Dr. Tara's examination, Hana looked worried.
Did she do something that made Anya allergic? She didn't even know what Anya was allergic to.
Aiden also didn't know anything about it.
When Dr. Tara asked him, he could only shake his head.
"To find out what allergies the patient has, further allergy tests are needed.," says Dr. Tara.
"Coffee...."A deep voice rang out, causing everyone to look in the direction from which the voice had come from.
Anya slowly opened her eyes and saw a lot of people around her, and she could vaguely hear what they were saying, but she didn't have enough strength to answer, so she barely said the point.
Anya is allergic to coffee!
Hearing this, Aiden felt his lungs explode.
Anya is allergic to coffee.
What Angel Sue and Ann Li did in the café yesterday made Anya sick like this! It's all because the damn Ann Li poured the coffee on Anya!
Aiden was furious, gritting his teeth and clenching his hands tightly.
Yesterday, they should not have been let go, and Angel and Ann Li should have been punished more severely and cruelly.
Compared to the pain that Anya endured at this time, splashing Anlie's face with hot coffee was too light.
They should be retaliated against even more brutally.
"I'll give her a shot of medicine to alleviate her allergic reaction, and then stay in bed for a few days and not be too tired." Dr. Tara said, looking at Anya.
..... Anya couldn't open her mouth to respond, so she could only nod slowly.
Dr. Tara gave Anya injections and prescriptions, and when she said goodbye, she didn't forget to leave a message for Hana to let Anya have a good rest.
Hana cooked porridge for Anya, who hadn't eaten anything since morning.
Before resting again, she wanted Anya to eat some porridge, pad her stomach, and replenish some physical strength, but her stomach was empty, which was not good for recovery.
After eating the porridge, Anya's symptoms improved a little.
Maybe the medication also worked and made her less weak than before.
As she lay in bed, she remembered Aiden.
After Dr. Tara gave her the injections, she didn't see Aiden at all.
Where did this man go?
It didn't take long for her eyes to slowly become heavy and she soon fell asleep again.
Aiden watched as Dr. Tara gave Anya an injection, then left the room and continued his study.
He wanted to calm himself down by immersing himself in his work, but it was completely useless.
Leith felt the same way.
He's been with Aiden since he was a kid, so he can feel that his boss can't concentrate on his work right now.
Aiden was also in a bad mood, and he didn't get the job right.
"Let's ,.... first'. Before Lees could finish speaking, Aiden raised his hand to stop him.
"I'll definitely repay them when the time comes.," Aiden's voice was cold and threatening.
He knew that his assistant could sense that he was in a bad mood and waited for his command.
However, Aiden doesn't want to do anything right now.
He has planned various things to get revenge on Angel Sue and Ann Li for what they did to Anya, but he needs to wait for the right moment.
Leith replied, "I know, sir, I suggest you take a break and see how Madame is doing."
He knew that Aiden couldn't get a job done in this situation, so he suggested that he calm down and rest first.
Aiden nodded in agreement.
He knew that he couldn't concentrate on his work right now, and maybe he should follow Leith's advice and rest well to see how Anya was doing.
He left the study and immediately went to the bedroom.
Entering the room, he saw that it was pitch black, except for the faint light from the lamp on the bedside table next to Anya's bed.
Anya was still asleep, and under the thick blanket, her body looked very thin.
At this time, Anya seemed to sleep more comfortably and quietly than before.
Aiden sat on the edge of the bed and reached out to touch Anya's forehead, trying to take her temperature.
When Anya felt someone's hand on her forehead, she woke up and slowly opened her eyes to see Aiden sitting on the edge of the bed staring at her.
Instead of overalls, Aiden wore casual loungewear.
"Are you okay?" Aiden asked softly.
He could see that Anya's face was no longer as pale as before.
"It's getting better," Anya replied calmly.
Her body already feels a lot better than before.
Thanks to Dr. Tara's injections, she no longer sweats and itches.
Aiden didn't withdraw his hand, but gently stroked Anya's head and gently stroked her hair, much to Anya's surprise.
Aiden was so gentle with her, helping her as always, and being kind to her, but always kept his distance and never touched her much.
She didn't hate the touch of Aiden's hand, though.
"Why don't you work?" Anya asked.
"I'm resting." Aiden replied.
He didn't tell Anya that he couldn't concentrate on his work, that he couldn't concentrate, because he thought about Anya's situation.
However, now that he is with Anya, his heart has calmed down a bit.
Anya's presence brought him peace.
"You rest... I went back to work. Aiden said as he withdrew his hand.
But before he could get up and leave, Anya grabbed Aiden's wrist and didn't let him leave.
"It's okay, I'm not sleepy." Anya said.
She didn't know what had gotten into her mind that prompted her to do it.
Realizing that her hand was still holding Aiden's hand, Anya immediately pulled up the quilt and hid her face under it.
Seeing the woman's reaction, Aiden smiled.
Anya was stunned when she heard the laughter.
It was the first time Aiden had laughed in front of her.
His laughter sounded warm and pleasant to her ears, making Anya laugh along.
Aiden stayed with Anya for a while until she fell asleep again.
Before leaving, he looked at Anya affectionately and made sure that she was sleeping soundly.
Aiden kissed Anya lightly on the forehead, but the determination in his heart became more and more firm.
He did not allow anyone to harm Anya, including her father.
For everything they did to Anya, he would take revenge on them a thousandfold!
