Chapter 1 How to learn about pregnancy

How did I learn about pregnancy? Initially, I went to learn from friends who had given birth to babies to learn about the taboos and precautions during pregnancy.

For example: don't climb high, try not to reach high things, try not to bend down, don't carry heavy things. Especially in the first 3 months of pregnancy, the fetus is unstable and it is easier to miscarry.

During my pregnancy, I used the [Mom.com Pregnancy] APP, which is a mobile phone APP that covers pregnancy and parenting knowledge. I watch it every day for updates to see how my baby is growing every day, as well as how my own pregnancy is changing. (The APP shows this part)

It is very rich in content: there are black and white food lists, which tell you about the dietary taboos during pregnancy; There are categories such as travel, wear, behavioral sports, and home life, which tell you what you can do during pregnancy and what you can't do during pregnancy.

It helps me keep track of my gestational week, because I don't know how to do the math, and sometimes I can't remember my exact gestational week. It can help me systematically understand the schedule and items of prenatal checkups, so that I can have a reference and know what pregnancy checkups I need to do next. In the third trimester, it can also help me count fetal movements, which is the most important thing! Because I don't know how to count fetal movements, and it's easy to count wrong, the APP helps to count the fetal movements is particularly convenient, as long as the baby moves me, I click on the button to count the fetal movements, the APP will help me count how much the effective fetal movements are, I think it's super convenient and easy to use!

My good friend Juan'er uses the Meiyu APP, and she said it is also very easy to use. There are many similar software in the mobile phone app store, such as: Yuxue Park, Baby Tree Pregnancy, Baby, National Pregnancy and Baby, etc. You can download a few more to compare, and then pick one of your favorite (APP) to use~

When I was pregnant, I added the pregnant mother group of our local maternity hospital, which was full of pregnant mothers who were about the same period (pregnant and gave birth), and we would communicate with each other about the problems we encountered, our own prenatal check-up items and prenatal check-up conditions, as well as the feedback and suggestions given to us by doctors.

I think that learning this knowledge can mainly relieve our anxiety, divert our attention, and at the same time, allow us to have a prediction of the next pregnancy week, and use a better attitude and way of dealing with things to cope with physical changes and emergencies.

I also added an online pregnant mother group, where everyone will complain about the unsatisfactory life, share some happy things, talk to each other, and show their daily food. This is especially useful for maintaining a good mood, and it is recommended that sisters give it a try. (Note: Don't disclose your real address, ID information, etc., just chat, talk about it, and express your little emotions)

For example, during pregnancy and postpartum because of hormonal instability, mood swings will be very large, and it is easy to get into the horns. It is recommended that sisters chat with others more when they are irritable, cranky, and unhappy, and maintain a good mood is really very, very important!

We are daughters, wives, mothers, and ourselves, and we must love ourselves well~

May you ride the wind and waves, and be safe and happy in your life.
