Chapter 238: New Abilities

Two new psionic traits.

[Trait: Psychic Ability Field]

Psionic Field: Psionics can use psionic energy to erect a strong energy barrier around themselves, which can deflect and defend against most attacks.

[Trait: Time and Space Exile]

Temporal Exile: This ability allows you to create a temporary subspace portal that strips psionics of their powers and banishes enemies to subspace.

The two new abilities are simple and easy to understand, one offensive and one defensive, and this time they are basically strengthening themselves.

"I've bothered you many times."

"It is an honor to serve the Empire and you."

The administrators bowed their heads and replied in fear.

This sentence is their honest words from the heart, without a little water.

In their eyes, Shen Sen was not only the supreme leader of the great country of the Star Empire, but also the strongest psionic person they had ever seen, comparable to a god.

Shen Sen smiled without saying a word, turned around and came to the palace through the corridor.

After dealing with his own affairs, he had the time to think about the gains and losses in this operation.

Overall, although the event went relatively smoothly, there were some abnormalities that he had to care about.

On the planet Pandora, when they were about to approach the Tree of Souls, a group of unidentified flying creatures suddenly came, and then the energy magnetic field was disturbed by a wave of energy.

All this sudden coincidence is very strange, and he not only suspects the "Ava" of Pandora.

There are not many references to Ava in the film, but an important point is that the Na'vi priestess describes Ava by stating that her duty is to maintain the balance of nature.

So she doesn't intervene directly in the event of a war, but when the Na'vi were invaded by humans and couldn't defend themselves, Ava mobilized all the living beasts on the planet to fight back.

This also means that Ava's divine power is extraordinary, but she is not visible, and will only act when faced with a crisis or desperate situation.

This plot also reveals two things.

First, unless there is a planet to save it in person, the indigenous people with backward civilization will not be able to resist the technologically advanced aliens.

Second, if Ava uses her abilities, she will burst out with a very powerful force, even if the army of the interstellar age is beyond the strength.

Those large predators native to the planet Pandora have extraordinary bones and muscles, and their combat effectiveness should not be underestimated.

Until now, Shen Sen didn't know how many creatures Pandora could mobilize in one performance, nor did he know what other abilities it had.

If it was Ava who instructed them to end their exploration, it was most likely that they had already noticed.

Just like in the movie, in addition to the opening rescue at the end of the movie, there is a figure of Ava at the beginning of the film, such as the protagonist Jack Sully strayed into the planet and got the favor of the seed of the sacred tree, which may also be Ava's instructions.

One possibility is that Ava didn't have much of an idea of the human civilization behind the RDA in the first place, and that she didn't interfere with human activity in Pandora, perhaps just as a new part of the ecosystem.

But things soon change, as she is seen on the first mission together by the main character, and Dr. Grace discovers that the planet's ecosystem is directly connected by detecting the potential of tree roots, or unknowingly seeing Ava for the first time.

In order to protect herself, Ava immediately decided to start the layout, and Jack Sully, who was present, became the pawn she had chosen.

She manipulated the Grim Reaper to drive the cliff, and finally asked the Grim Reaper to save the protagonist, and by dropping the Divine Tree seed, the heroine saved Jack Sully and brought him back to the Homestead Tree.

After that, Jack Sully's training process was most likely the domestication process of Ava, and by the end of the day, Jack Sully was actually almost completely a Na'vi psychologically.

But that's not enough, after she chooses the layout, she needs more humans to come over, and she also needs a period of time to operate without being disturbed by humans.

She didn't care about the collapse of the Hometree tree, it was still part of her ecosystem, and she might even have deliberately allowed Jack Sully to transmit information, as she needed the Na'vi to go to the area of the Sacred Tree with magnetic fields to fight the humans in order to clean them up.

As a result, Jack Sully became a Phantom Knight under Ava's influence and organized a rebel army to fight the humans.

However, she may have misestimated the strength of the RDA Mining Company, and seeing that the Na'vi army was defeated, Ava still had to take control of the beasts on Pandora to defeat the human legions.

She completely converted Jack to Na'vi, and the humans came and went for twelve years, enough for her to move on to the next step.

What Ava's ultimate purpose is is not clear enough, Shen Sen guesses that it is either to use the RDA human civilization to achieve evolution, or it may be to protect itself after being discovered, but all this does not affect the Star Empire to get involved in it.

But if Ava had really noticed the Empire of the Stars and put a stop to it, the follow-up actions might have to change slightly.

As a time-traveling person who knows the development of the plot, Shen Sen decided to take advantage of the situation and make good use of this advantage to let the bullets fly first for a while.

……

As Shen Sen thought, in the green hell of Pandora, the protagonist team operating the avatar's body came to the rainforest.

Grace, a doctor of biology, gently brushed away the dirt with her blue hand, revealing a cloud of tendrils of plants.

"Look, this is where the roots of two trees meet." She beckoned her companion Norman to come over.

Grace and Norman then crouched in the middle of a giant root that resembled an octopus' tentacles. She used a needle-like detector to take a sample.

Norman scanning the roots of a tree with an electronic instrument.

Jack Sully wasn't interested in any of this, so he walked a few meters away.

He came to a glade in the middle of a forest, full of shoulder-high spiral-shaped plants: spiral grass.

Jack Sully curiously touched the spiral grass, all the plants shrank into the ground, and then a hammerhead thunderbeast appeared in front of him.

Like a six-legged rhinoceros, but twice the size of a rhinoceros. It is large and heavy, with raised cartilage tissue on its low head, which makes it look a bit like a hammerhead shark.

Its malicious eyes stared hard at Jack Sully, who hurriedly raised his rifle.

Grace, who was crouching on the ground, was startled by the creature's snort and hurriedly ran to a place where she could see the situation.

"Don't shoot, you'll provoke it." She opened her throat microphone and said.

The hammerhead thunderbeast roared and lowered its three-meter-wide sledgehammer-like head.

"I think it may have been provoked!"

"Jack, that layer of armor is too thick, your bullets won't work on him, trust me."

Hearing this, Jack began to retreat.

The hammerhead thunderbeast let out another roar, gouging the ground with its hooves.

"It's threatening you, because you've entered its territory, don't run, or it will attack."

"So what should I do?"

"Don't move, stay there and don't move!"

The hammerhead thunderbeast swung its massive head and smashed it around, smashing some trees to pieces. It roared, lowered its head, and swooped off.

Jake Sully yelled, flailing his arms frantically and lunging towards the big guy.

It came to an abrupt halt, accompanied by a loud wail.

Jack was amazed, he thought his intimidation strategy had succeeded.

"Haha! Who's more powerful?"

The next second, though, something appeared behind him, outside a depression blocked by tall plants.

A lightning beast.

The most outstanding land predators that the universe has to bring. It can be used for dessert after eating a Tyrannosaurus rex.

It was a six-legged panther from Hell, with a head covered in armor-like skin and a heavy, yet elastic jaw.

Jack Sully didn't notice the approaching Thunderbolt, who was confronting the Hammerhead Thundermon.

"That's what I said, brutes are brutes."

The hammerhead thunderbeast turned around, let out a terrified roar, and fled in a panic, destroying many plants along the way.

"That's right, dog!"

Just as he was excited about this, a roar came from behind him.

Jack jerked around and saw a three- or four-ton lightning beast pass over him, landing between him and the hammerhead thunderbeast.

The ground is shaking.

The Thunderbolt let out a deafening roar that sent the Hammerhead Thunderbeast away.

It turned to face Jack, baring its fangs and hissing deadly.

"What about this one?"

"Run, don't run?"

"Which one?"

Jack Sully asked with a trembling voice.

"Run, you must run!"

Grace's voice echoed loudly in the rainforest behind, terrified.
