Chapter 243: The Legend of the Ancient Saint and the Star God
Jack Sully was chasing the slender figure in front of him in confusion, and they were now passing through a layer of purple moss that reacted to the pressure of footsteps.
Circles of green light spread outwards like ripples in a small pool, spreading outward from the place where each foot fell.
When his feet fell, the purple aura would explode outward, and it was simply dreamy and beautiful.
They then passed by giant trees and vines, and swam past the lake under the waterfall, and kept on their way without rest.
Jack didn't understand what he was doing and where he was going to be taken. But at the moment, he has no choice, and he can't get out of this dangerous rainforest with his own strength.
Just when he felt a little impatient, the figure in front of him suddenly stopped. Jack Sully asked, puzzled, "Where is this place, and where are you going to take me?"
Then Jack heard a whirring sound, and when he saw a rope flying towards him, spinning and wrapping around his feet.
He was unsteady and dropped the roots of the tree and planted it in the leaves below. Jack let himself go and got up to run away, but in the middle of the jungle, several Neville knights sped towards him.
They rode heavily armored horses, six-legged, and thick-skinned alien strong.
The knights' braids were connected to the horses' long, moth-like antennas, which were some kind of nervous system connection, so that they could command the horses to leave their hands free for weapons.
When the knights arrived, they pointed their bows and spears at Jack.
Jack Sully began to flee, but the Neville Hunter emerged from the shadows, weapons aimed at him, blocking his retreat.
Netini jumped next to Jack on the ground, facing the leading knight. She hurriedly shouted angrily and loudly in Na'vi, "Sutai, what are you doing? He's my captive!"
The Na'vi named Sutai were young and strong, with sculpturally hard faces, arrogant jaws, and piercing eyes. He jumped off his mount in a graceful manner like flowing water.
"These devils shouldn't be here. I'm going to kill this one and warn the others!"
Sutai drew his bow, but Netini lunged between him and Jack, warrior to warrior face to warrior.
"Stop, Ava has a foreshadowing, we're going to take him back."
Sutai scratched his chin in frustration, rather frustrated by the situation. He turned, angrily mounted his heavily armored horse, and shouted orders at the hunters.
"Take him away."
The knight of Neville grabbed Jack Sully and dragged him by force, threatening with a spear and a bow, and followed Sutai and the other knights in front of him along the path.
Not long after, he was rudely dragged towards Netiri's village.
It sits in one of the largest trees. The house tree is 250 meters tall, with a trunk four times as thick as the largest redwood, and a huge mangrove base.
Sutai rode in the middle of a queue of people under the village tree, whining and shouting warnings.
Jack followed the army into an open central area. The people of the village gather here to see the party after returning from the hunt.
The people of the tribe have mothers with babies, old women, young hunters.
They stared blankly at the outsiders, expressing their curiosity and making no secret of the anger and murder in their eyes.
Jack Sully was now stunned by the size of the home tree. As they barbecued the flames, he could see the huge cylindrical hallway above, as well as a living church.
Inside the transparent membrane are small glowing insects that vibrate slightly, like a moving lamp.
In the central clearing, the skeletons of some huge creatures are attached to a totem along with a large number of decorations.
Standing in front of the totem and waiting for their arrival was the Patriarch of Yatuken.
Atuken has a delicate face and wears a necklace made from the claws of the Lightning Beast.
His unsmiling face showed a shadow of anger.
"Why did you bring this creature here?"
Netini responded to Atuken in Na'vi: "I was going to kill him, but there was a sign of Ava."
When Neytini answered, Artuken glared at her and pointed at Jack.
"I said no outsiders could come here and attack our homeland! The smell of a stranger in him filled my nose. ”
Netini remained motionless, and replied in a polite but non-compliant tone.
"But father, many wood elves have come to this outsider."
Jack asked about the breath of death, and hurriedly stepped forward, holding out his hand to show that he had no ill intentions, but the hunters jumped up to stop him, and screamed.
But they all stopped, as a condescending female voice suddenly echoed through the area.
"Stand back!"
Everyone looks up.
A serious Neville woman of fifty stood on the second floor, looking down.
She was slow, and she spoke in a tone as stern as a judge. Her costume is elaborate and points to her social status, the matriarch of the Na'vi.
"I'm going to see this outlander."
The square was silent and full of anticipation, and the matriarch walked down the spiral-shaped trunk of the country tree, a naturally formed spiral staircase.
"This is the mother, and she is Moat, the one who conveys Ava's wishes." Neytini reminded from the side.
As the matriarch passed, Neytini knelt down in front of her like an acolyte.
The villagers watched silently as the matriarch slowly strolled around Jack, surveying his tail and the ends of his braids.
"What's your name?"
"Jack Sully."
The matriarch took a long thorn between her fingers, then swung it and struck Jack in the chest.
Jack winced. Red blood poured out, and Moat dipped his fingertips in some of it. She tasted it.
Then she said to Netiri, "Daughter, you need to teach him the way we act, to talk and walk like we do."
Although she was unwilling, at the order of the matriarch, Neytini agreed.
She led Jack up the spiral ladder to the second floor, and after introducing them to each other over dinner, she began to teach Jack the language of their tribe.
The primitive tribes had no teaching materials, only the oldest legends and physical teachings.
Once Jack learns some words, Netini begins to teach him sentences using ancient tribal legends.
"Legend has it that at the very beginning of the universe, there was a group of evil creatures named the Ancient Sages, who possessed great intelligence, but created countless evil races, such as green monsters and mysterious wizards, to control the entire galaxy.
And their opponent is the guardian of peace in the universe, the creator of all the suns, the star god. The great star gods were born in the very early days of the world from swirling clouds of gas and vast amounts of energy, so they were born immortal divine beings.
They are gigantic and supreme beings, whose bodies extend and expand to envelop the surface of the sun, and when a sun is created, they travel again to reach other dark worlds and bring light to creatures where the sun is created......"
"Haha!"
"What are you laughing at? Are you laughing at me? ”
Netini retracted her mind from the distant story, stopped talking, and looked at Jack laughing with an unkind gaze.
"It's nothing, it's nothing, it's just that I find your tribe's story interesting!"
Jack stopped smiling and shrugged his shoulders to show that he wasn't laughing at the other man anymore.
"This is not the story of our tribe, this is the story of Ava, you outsider don't know anything at all, like a child." Neytini said dissatisfied.
"Perhaps, but in my opinion, your tribe has little understanding of the universe, and there may not be any star gods and ancient saints at all. Well, do you know what the Big Bang is......" From the standpoint of modern people, Jack felt the need to popularize the scientific cosmology to the other side.
As the two argued with each other, Pandora's night deepened, and an invisible energy magnetic field enveloped the entire planet, rising and falling like breathing.
