Volume 1 The Change of the Northeast Xianmen Chapter 8 Nanmao and Beima

After a while, the three of us arrived at the small shop in the north. Beiyou sat down on the sofa first, then motioned for me and my junior brother to sit down, and then poured a cup of tea for each of us.

"I'm afraid this time it's far from that simple." Beiyou's fingertips tapped on the table, and his eyes were slightly closed to look at my junior brother.

My junior brother's face was gloomy, and he muttered for a moment and said, "No matter what you say this time, thank you for your help. But I don't think this matter has anything to do with you, and you don't have to ask again. ”

Beiyou's squinting eyes seemed to be more slender, and the rhythm of his fingertips tapping on the table was a little faster, and at this time I saw that his nose and mouth were a little pointy, and there seemed to be a trace of gas floating out of his waist, but my eyes were closed, and I couldn't see what it was.

He suddenly trembled, and his voice turned into a sharp and hoarse male voice: "Hmph, you little doll doesn't know how to lift, my brother Ma has a good temper and won't say much, but here in the old fairy and me, you are nothing!" ”

The atmosphere suddenly became tense, and I couldn't understand why all of a sudden I started to draw my bow and crossbow in an instant.

At this time, my junior brother suddenly took out his quaint canopy ruler again, stood up with a brush, and had a posture of starting without saying a word, he said coldly: "I don't care if you are immortal or not, if you want to talk about it, we will talk about it, if you don't want to talk about it, you will fight directly!" ”

What's the situation? Ready to start fighting in an instant? I was still blindsided, not knowing what was going on.

When "Beiyou" heard this, he laughed hoarsely: "Hey, hey, hey, you little doll is so daring, you dare to argue with me Python Mountain?" I practiced from the Qin and Han dynasties to the Sui and Tang dynasties to obtain the immortal position! No one has dared to talk to me like that for many years, hahahaha! ”

It turns out that this is not a trip to the north, it is the python family warrior of the Beiyou Immortal Mansion Python Pan Mountain! It says that it has been practicing since the Qin and Han dynasties, isn't that ...... Practiced for 2,000 years?!

My junior brother's originally blue face suddenly became calm, and he suddenly sat down and took a sip of tea and said indifferently: "Old Immortal, you have practiced for two thousand years, and your Taoism is naturally unfathomable. It's just that you forget, this is Hubei, not the Northeast. However, although the rules of Shanhaiguan are not very important, if you want to go wild here, I am afraid that it will not be me. It's my whole sect of Taoism. ”

The immortal family is not Shanhaiguan?!

Python Pan Mountain (possessed by Beiyou, so write its name directly) had the same complexion, and a "hissing" sound came from his mouth. He stared at my junior brother with squinted eyes, not knowing what he was thinking.

My junior brother smiled, took out a piece of yellow paper, and took out a brush to draw a talisman and put it in front of the python mountain.

"Old Immortal, you are well-informed, you should know this talisman, right?"

Python Panshan stared at the talisman in front of him, without any expression on his face, and nodded at my junior brother again: "Yes, you little guy is not afraid to face me, which means that you must have some confidence." I didn't expect to see his disciples after so many years. ”

When my junior brother heard Python Panshan's words, he suddenly looked straight, stood up, and bowed to him respectfully: "It was I who offended the old immortal family, but I didn't expect the old immortal family to know my ancestor." The disciple is here to accompany the old immortal. ”

Python Panshan waved his hand and said in his mouth: "It's okay, no wonder my brother Ma is destined for you, I understand, old fairy." You are also good at cultivating and cultivating, so don't slack off. ”

Then Python Panshan looked at me with a complicated eye, as if he wanted to say something, but in the end he didn't say it. I looked puzzled, could it be that I still have something to say?

Immediately after that, Beiyou shook again, yawned and said to us: "I'm so tired, fortunately I didn't fight, this python fairy in my family is more aggressive, so sometimes he talks very impulsively, and he protects me very much, please don't mind." ”

I looked at Beiyou in surprise at this time, the python fairy just now fell off the horse and spoke on him, he even knew it?

My junior brother also bowed his hand to Beiyou, saying that he also had no intention of offending.

Beiyou smiled and nodded, it seemed that he didn't go to his heart. Then he turned his head to look at me and said, "Senior Brother Yuanli, don't be surprised, we are out of the horse and divided into bundles of dead and half-dead. The trick of binding death is that after the immortal family falls off the horse (possessed body), the disciple doesn't know anything, and it is all up to the immortal family to control the body. The half-trick is that the immortal family only borrows a mouth to speak or do things, but the disciple can fully know what he is doing and can hear what is being said. I'm in the second category, so I can hear your conversation. ”

I nodded, and it was easy to understand.

The lineage of the Izumado lineage comes from shamanism. In the history of our country, I believe you must have heard of a powerful country and the person who created this powerful empire - Kim Taejo, Wanyan Aguta.

The two dynasties of Jin and Qing were both established by the Jurchen people, and it was because of this that the "shaman" culture began to flourish. The meaning of the word shaman represents the wise man, and in the Jurchen language it can also be represented as "messenger of the gods" and "slave of heaven".

The earliest appearance of shamans was during the tribal era of the Yellow Emperor and Chiyou. In that tribal era, almost every tribe had a "priest" who could communicate with heaven and earth, that is, the first shaman. They communicate with the heavens and the earth through strange symbols, in order to bless the survival of the tribe, and at the same time pray for blessings and disasters in a way that we cannot understand.

After the Great War between the Yellow Emperor and Chiyou, the Dongyi Jiuli Chiyou tribe was defeated, and some of the remaining scattered tribesmen moved south to barbarians and north to Hu, so there was a shaman culture among the ethnic minorities in the north and south. It was not until about 3605 of the Yellow Emperor Era, that is, in 1115 A.D., that Jin Taizu Wanyan Aguda established the country and became the emperor, and under the influence of the northern nomadic tribes, the shaman culture was officially displayed on the Central Plains. It is precisely with this premise that the foundation for the establishment of shamanism in later generations was laid.

The shaman's doctrine is to worship the heavens and the earth, the gods, the mountains, rivers and the sea, and communicate with the gods of heaven and earth, in order to ask for divine power to bless the country and the people, and the wind and rain are smooth. Moreover, they can also use this kind of sacrifice to send down divine power for themselves, so as to exorcise evil spirits and cure diseases for others, and pray for blessings and disasters.

Before that, shamanism was more inexplicably involved with witchcraft, and even in later generations, shamanism still used some witchcraft.

The origins of witches are so mysterious and older than shamans that they can be traced back at all, but it is not difficult to see from later texts that they all discuss one thing: witches can communicate with ghosts and gods.

"Saying Wen Wu Ministry": "Wu, I wish you well." Women can do invisible things, and those who dance to sΓ©ance are also. ”

"Yi Xun": "Xun is under the bed, and there is no blame for using Shi Wu. Kong Yingda Shu: "History is Zhu Shi, Wu is Wu Wu, and he is the person who receives the ghosts and gods." ”

The origin legend of witchcraft is in the era of the Shundi tribe, one of the three emperors and five emperors. Women are called witches, and men are called witches (xi).

Legend has it that during the time of Emperor Shun, in order to produce salt for the common people and meet the lives of the people. Shun let one of his sons go to Wuxian to become a chieftain, and Xian is good at boiling brine for salt, so he got his name. The people of Wu Xianguo handle the green snake with their right hand, and the red dragon with their left hand, located in the great wilderness, and it is called the Ten Witches with Wu Ji, Wu Pan, Wu Peng, Wu Gu, Wu Zhen, Wu Li, Wu Di, Wu Xie, and Wu Luo. In addition, in the process of salt making, the Wuxian people held various sacrificial activities, hoping that the south wind would bring them a good climate, so as to facilitate salt precipitation. Their sacrifices are performed in various ways, and they are accompanied by various words of vows and prayers. So when people from other tribes saw it, they called it "witchcraft".

Later, after the fall of the Jin Dynasty, the Jurchens, also known as the Manchus, entered the Central Plains again after a few hundred years and established the last feudal dynasty, the Manchu Qing Dynasty. It is precisely because of this dynasty that the culture of shamanism has reached its peak, and many shamanic disciples have emerged in front of the world, until the fall of the Qing Dynasty, shamanism has died down.

However, another continuation of shamanism, the Demamado, began to appear in the eyes of the world.

At the earliest, when Huang Taiji Nurhachi had not yet become famous, he was accidentally rescued by Hu Sanye and Hu Santai's grandmother, and Huang Taiji vowed to build a temple to worship these two in the future, and at the same time wanted to ask the immortal family of Changbai Mountain to bless his foundation.

Later, in the middle and late Qing Dynasty, the fireworks that already existed began to exist in the Horse Immortals. And at this time, a story happened, which pushed the story of the fairy family to the top.

Legend has it that during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, the emperor came to inspect the land of Longxing in the northeast, and suddenly got a disaster, and all the imperial doctors accompanying him were helpless. But it was said that one night, Emperor Kangxi dreamed that there was a Taoist priest who had a fairy wind and Taoist bones, and said that he could cure his illness. When Kangxi asked who you are, the Taoist priest replied: I am the third master Hu who practiced in Changbai Mountain, and I left after speaking. Emperor Kangxi woke up feeling comfortable, and the disease in his body seemed to be fine, and the pain was cured without medicine.

After Kangxi returned to Beijing, he thanked Hu Xian for his meritorious rescue and issued a holy decree to crown Hu San Taiye as the first immortal in the world, in charge of all fox immortals in the world. At the same time, he also made a yellow coat and built a temple statue to support. Later, the prestige of the Hu family (fox fairy) spread, and there were countless people who cultivated immortals and attained the Tao, so that the entire immortal family outside Shanhaiguan obeyed the orders of the third master Hu.

There was another year, the Northeast epidemic disaster (you can ask the older generations of Northeast people know) countless dead, the court is helpless, and later many people dreamed that a couple claiming to be fox fairies came out to deliver medicine, and the situation of the people who had taken the medicine slowly turned around. The disaster passed quickly. In order to repay the fox fairy for saving his life, everyone raised funds to build a temple to worship the benefactor, because they didn't know the name, but many people heard Hu San's grandmother call Hu San's grandmother the third brother in their dreams, so they built a temple in the name of Hu San's grandfather and Hu San's grandmother.

Later, all the horses and immortals respected the third master and the third grandmother Hu on Kunlun Mountain. In addition, the Northeast Tiesha Mountain, known as the black fox fairy of the black mother, was named the great protector of the Northeast Immortal Family. These three immortal families stood at the top of the Northeast Immortal Family.

Many of these Northeast immortals only slowly appeared in the Qing Dynasty, and the Qing Dynasty was the last feudal dynasty in the history of our country, representing the collapse of the feudal dynasty for two thousand years, so these immortals would show the world, in order to accumulate merit and rank in the immortal class, so the horse immortal hall began to appear as a continuation of shamanism.

And in many of the Immortal Halls, there are immortal families with the same name and surname. Some of the reasons for this result are that an immortal family can have several disciples at the same time, and they can be named on the altar at the entrance of several halls, which is called "string hall" in the Izuma Hall.

Another situation is because these immortals originally thought that the name would be more domineering if it was louder, so there would be a lot of duplicate names, for example, this is Hu Tianba who practiced on Qingshan, and that one was Hu Tianba who practiced on Huashan.

But if you have a heart, you will find that many names of immortals appear in the novels of the Qing Dynasty. Even some of the names are characters in the opera at all.

Later, the immortal family began to form a horse fairy hall, and many old immortals went down the mountain to start catching younger horses, in order to become famous all over the world and accumulate merits.

The interior of the fairy hall is strictly disciplined and has a clear division of labor. The head of the hall, the head of the row, the second row, the third row, the fourth row, the sweeping, the soldier, the pressing, the exploration, the breeze and so on. All the immortals are doing their own things, and after all of them are complete, it is now a complete fairy hall with the so-called "four beams and eight pillars".

But in addition to these immortals, a horse immortal hall must also have swords, seals, orders, and flags. At the same time, it also needs the documents of the heavenly court and the documents of entering and leaving the underworld, so that it can be regarded as a capable and able to see things.

The general Horse Immortal Hall is composed of four immortal families of "Hu Huang Chang Python", plus the ghosts and immortals of the underworld, that is, "Qingfeng". There are also some people who come out of the horse hall are the five-way immortal families of "Hu Huang, White Willow Gray". However, because the Hu family (fox immortal) cultivates a positive number of paths, and the spirituality is greater, the general master of the head of the hall is guarded by the Hu family immortal family who is profound.

In addition, there are also immortals like tigers, leopards, bears, eagles, raccoon cats, etc., which are very evil and not conventional outside the five elements, but they are generally rare.

And there are many versions of what my junior brother just said that "the immortal family is just Shanhaiguan".

During the Qianlong period, he went out hunting and encountered a fox fairy to "beg for a seal", and the Son of Heaven was the supreme of the Ninety-Five, which was a great opportunity. Qianlong thought that if all the monsters and animals in the world became immortals, then he would be in danger, so he ordered the immortals in the deep mountains and old forests in the northeast not to be allowed to go to the inside of Shanhaiguan, so they had to practice outside Shanhaiguan.

The other said that during the Tang Dynasty, the ancient genius Yuan Tiangang had seen the true face of Hu Sanye, and the two talked all night for three days and three nights after deciding a game, and finally Hu Sanye lost slightly, so the world's immortals no longer made waves in Shanhaiguan.

In short, the real version is no longer traceable, but to this day, the truly powerful immortal family will not come across the Shanhaiguan. Even if you come across the mountain customs, you must prepare all kinds of customs clearance documents and road guides to report to the local city god society order Zhenjun before you can enter the customs. And in the third chapter of the law, if the immortal family who came across the pass is profound, you can't make a move at will and you are not allowed to mess with the world, otherwise you will declare war on the entire Dao Gate regardless of the oath, and everyone will be punished. Of course, whether you can beat it or not is another story.

So my junior brother didn't panic at all, first of all, because the Python Mountain Road is very deep and has crossed the Shanhaiguan, if it wants to teach us a lesson, at worst, it will fight with us juniors. To put it mildly, it is equivalent to provoking the entire Daomen with Yu Beiyou and Yu's Immortal Mansion.

I know the talisman that my junior brother took out just now, it is a talisman in the secret technique of my Maoshan Laojun, and that talisman represents a certain ancestor of my lineage.

Boy! He's hiding so many things! I don't even know when he learned these secret techniques, and our master never taught me. Thinking of this, I can't help but feel a little lost, after all, my junior brother is a personal apprentice, and I am just a nominal apprentice.

Yu Beiyou smiled at me and my junior brother and said, "Everyone in the world says that Nanmao and Beima, and it is fate that we can meet today." In particular, I got to know two descendants of the Maoshan sect at once, and I was happy, so why don't you drink some sake here with me, and we have a good discussion. ”

That's what I mean, and I finally met a living horse fairy, so naturally I have a lot of questions to ask. I glanced at my brother, who had already let his guard down, arched his hand and began to clean up the table and prepare for the drink.

During this banquet, I learned that Beiyou is a northerner and an ethnic minority on the prairie, and he won't let me say which ethnic minority it is, so I don't need to mention it. He said that he didn't believe in these ghosts and gods before, and even thought that the immortals he saw and the sounds he heard were hallucinations, until one day he passed by a coffin shop.

Because Beiyou lives in the north, the land is vast and sparsely populated, but fortunately, he lives in the city, so the population is also large. One night, Beiyou went out for a walk, and as he walked, he came to a path where there were no people.

Beiyou didn't care, he wasn't afraid of the dark, so he was still walking slowly. At this time, Beiyou saw a thin middle-aged man walking slowly towards him, because the road was too dark, he didn't see this person's situation clearly at first.

It wasn't until the middle-aged man got closer that Beiyou found that the man's figure was a little too thin, so that his cheeks were sunken and his eyes were thick black. There is no shortage of worries in Beiyou, how can this person be so thin and weak? It's been a few days since I eaten. Out of kindness, Beiyou stepped forward and asked, "Is there anything you need help with?" ”

The middle-aged man slowly turned his head, took a deep look at Beiyou and did not speak. Beiyou thought that this person might be too hungry to speak, so he asked him, "Do you need me to buy you something to eat?" ”

The middle-aged man still didn't answer, but some doubts and puzzled looks flashed in his eyes, and then he slowly shook his head and dragged his thin body forward.

Beiyou was puzzled at this time, this person was really strange, and he didn't answer when asked. So, Beiyou no longer bothered with this person, but trotted all the way to buy some food, but when he rushed back, he was gone.

With doubts in his heart, Beiyou had no choice but to walk home. On his way home, he had to walk through several streets and alleys, and in one of the alleys he saw the thin man again.

Coffin shop! Funeral dragon!

At this time, the man was discussing with the shopkeeper to buy a larger coffin instead of an urn. This is really strange, all these years have been cremated, how can there be a coffin? But the man insisted on buying a coffin, and the boss didn't say much when he saw it, after all, the customer was the biggest. The man nodded, took a stack of money to the boss, and then walked out, just in time to meet Beiyou.

Beiyou was also a little stunned, but still handed the food in his hand to the man. The man was stunned for a moment, and left with an ugly and weird smile.

At that time, I didn't understand these things at all.

PS: The knowledge points in this chapter are a bit doha, and the story of Yu Beiyou and me also began.
