Volume 3 The Shadow of Ukshir Concluding Remarks

Previous Chapter

A month ago, I was thinking about how to write this closing speech, after all, this is my debut work, and I finally finished it, and I had to take it seriously, but after thinking about it for a long time, I can only say one sentence in the end, and it is finally over.

Because it's not easy, only after writing it, I know how difficult it is to write a novel, and if there is no support from a detailed outline, it is really difficult to write, and I happen to be not good at using the outline, even if it is barely formulated, it will always deviate from the conceived plot in the end, so I can only set a direction first, and then play freely when I write it.

This makes the writing process very difficult, after all, inspiration is not available all the time, and it is uncomfortable to force yourself to write, but you can't write without it.

So the moment the book ended, I felt more relaxed than I had ever felt before, even happier than when I got the manuscript fee (probably).

In short, although the process was unsatisfactory and even I was disappointed, I learned a lot from this writing experience, one of which is of course that there must be an outline, whether it can work or not, it is better than nothing, as for the rest, I can only say some clichés, that is, to read more and write more, there is no harm in it.

And then speaking of the plot, in fact, I originally booked the content of the fourth volume, which will be written about the story of the dragons, and I deliberately set up a lot of foreshadowing in the first three volumes, including the follow-up of Lydia and the Red Flame Witch, the details of the knight competition, and the resurrection of the magician named Liz I also wanted to put it in the fourth volume.

But the more I write later, the more I will find my shortcomings, such as some inconsistent settings, and the control of the overall plot is not in place, I always write wherever I want, and in the end I don't know what I wrote.

If I continue to write like this, I will only write boring stories, and of course, the main thing is that I don't have that much energy myself, so I can only give up those ideas, and not only that, but I haven't recovered a lot of the foreshadowing that exists, let alone count on the fourth volume.

To be honest, if I were to evaluate this work myself, it could only be said to be unsatisfactory, there was no clear theme at a glance, the protagonist did not have a clear goal, and there was no eye-catching emotional line, and the handling of all aspects can be said to be a mess.

However, this can be taken as a lesson from failure, which is not a bad thing to think about, and my next book will focus on addressing these issues.

Anyway, that's all for gossip, and no one will want to listen to me.

Finally, if there are any readers who are looking forward to me (how can they be), then stay tuned for my next book, which will have a date (or no date?) )
