Episode 6 Big Business
The morning sun shines through the window and spills onto the bed, and the sound of birds chirping one after another drives away the drowsiness. Cole rubbed his eyes and turned to look out the window, where Luca was already leaning on the window excitedly looking at the sky.
"It was a beautiful day! A red thing flew into the sky from there, you see—"
Cole walked to the window and saw Luca's excited expression, the sun shining on his happy face, and his blonde hair fluttering gently in the wind.
"Ah, it's so pretty." Cole watched as Luca echoed.
"Right, right? Now the sky is blue, and it looks even better! ”
"Ah, it's pretty." Cole looked at Luca's blue pupils, which seemed to merge with the blue sky, clear and translucent.
"What are you looking at?" Luca turned her head and poked Cole on the forehead, "What are you doing?" ”
"Ah, it's okay, it's time for us to go, I don't have any money to pay for the room today-"
'Ding Dong', the crisp sound of gold coins, Cole lowered his head, and the two gold coins swirled around the window.
"Take it, pay the room fee. This bed is so soft that I don't want to go. Luca had seen enough of the sky, and threw herself on the bed again, hugging the pillow and rolling, "Go and go." ”
"Where did this gold come from?" Cole picked up the gold coin, sat on the edge of the bed and asked,
"Leave it alone, go."
"Where the hell—"
"I conjured it up."
"If you don't say it, I won't go."
"Hey, when we were in Amaro, I took it—"
"When did you steal it?" Cole stood up, in a repulsive tone.
"What? He is a boss and will not be short of money, but I am lacking. Luca was still yawning on her pillow.
"You're-" Cole shook his head and snatched the pillow out of Luca's hand, "You're not good like this, what if you are discovered?" And maybe that boss is in dire need of money to do something important—"
"What's my business?" Luca tried to reach for the pillow, but Cole took two steps back, still looking at Luca unpleasantly.
"You—we can use the right way—to make money, why are you so barbaric."
"I can do whatever I want, who wants you to take care of me!" Luca also stood up, staring at Cole with the same annoyance, "People like you who come out of a big place don't know the life of a barbarian like us!" ”
"It's the same everywhere, we can't do bad things."
"That's not what you said yesterday."
"I was- you can't do that anyway."
"That's all I can do." Luca snatched back the pillow and lay back on the bed.
"I could- I could make money, but you don't steal." Cole lowered his head and looked at the floor, his voice trembling a little, although he had seen how others did business, but he was obviously not sure of it.
"I'm not going to use the stinky money you've earned, and it's just you?" Luca looked at the cat secret boy in front of him, maybe the vest was too worn out to distinguish the original color, an oversized plaid jacket that contrasted with his figure felt like it would slip off his shoulders at any moment, and the badly worn trousers were still more torn than Luca's clothes despite many patches.
"Take care of yourself first." Luca stopped leaning on Ricole and pounded the pillow.
"That—if I really have to steal it—I have an idea." Cole sat next to Luca and pushed Luca's back, "I know that there is a famous big profiteer on Lakeland's side, many of the goods are from unknown sources, and he often bullies innocent people in the surrounding area and the Mole Spirit Bazaar. If you can steal his things, it should be counted as a good deed? ”
"That's right!"
As soon as Cole's body sank, he was pressed to the bed by Luca. Luca smiled happily, "I didn't expect—hahaha—I didn't expect you to be serious about stealing from others." ”
"Okay, okay - you can only steal bad guys, not good guys."
"Here it is again, do you know who is the bad guy and who is the good guy? Am I a bad person or a good person? ”
"You can't say that—"
"I ask you if I'm a bad person or a good person." Luca rolled over and pressed Cole underneath him, "Say it quickly, or I'll tickle you." ”
"You're a good guy in my eyes." Cole looked into Luca's eyes and said slowly.
Luca let go of Cole and jumped out of bed, "What a strange statement. ”
"But if you're messing with things, you're the bad guy." Cole also got out of bed and wrapped his clothes tighter.
Luca stuck out her tongue, "I think I'd better be the bad guy." At least there's something delicious to eat, unlike now, where you can only eat your stinky. ”
"Alright, let's plan." Cole walked to the window and pointed to a hill not far away, "There's Job's Fortress over there, the profiteer's name is Dane, and his warehouse is over there, and I don't know much about the rest, so I'll have to inquire after I get there." ”
"Little things." Luca absentmindedly looked at the birds outside the window, "Anyway, don't rush this moment, lie down again." ”
Luca went back to the bed and hooked her finger at Cole, "Come here." ”
"Hey, am I a dog?" Cole crossed his waist dissatisfied, "Can you call me by my name?" ”
"Alright, Lolo—" Luca patted the bed, "Come over." ”
"It's Co-Er."
"Okay, Lolo. Come here. ”
"Whatever you want—" Cole sat down on the edge of the bed, and Lucca picked up his tail and rubbed it again.
"Your hobby is very strange, alas, it's so uncomfortable." Cole's ears were bunched, and his fingers were awkwardly drawing circles on the bed, "But I've heard that insecure people like things that hug fur." ”
"Fart, no, no." Luca pinched her tail, and Cole jumped up with a scream.
"You're really a barbarian!" Cole hugged his tail, tears coming out of his eyes, "You're the most savage savage I've ever seen!" ”
"Yes, I'm a barbarian, and I'm not satisfied with you changing masters." Luca lay on the bed, propped her chin and looked at Cole with a grin, "By the way, does this contract have any special functions, such as if I let you go east, you can't go west." ”
"I won't tell you if I do." Cole sat aside wiping away tears, and the embarrassment didn't last long before it was broken by a grunt.
"Uh-"
"What's the sound?" Luca stifled a smile and cocked her ears straight "Huh? What kind of sound is that? ”
"What are you doing!" Cole clutched his stomach and leaned over the table, "You're annoying! ”
"I don't know, what is this sound? You tell me. Luca leaned over to Cole and raised her voice, "Oh, I remember a pheasant I caught earlier, and it's still bubbling when it's roasted and eaten—"
The grunt came again, and it was louder than before.
"I'm hungry—" Cole muttered in a mosquito-like voice.
"Go eat, use your honest methods to make money in exchange for food."
"You're so annoying!!"
