Chapter 6: Run

The fear and remorse of hindsight are pounding my sanity, is it still there? Do zombies starve to death? No, I'm a zombie too, why haven't I been hungry for so long and haven't drooled over my kind downstairs in the community?

I thought about it as I stood up and decided to leave first, there were no more creatures that could communicate normally, and just as I turned and walked briskly towards the stairs, there was a 'thump' behind me.

Instinct makes me run as soon as I pull my legs, no matter what the sound is, it's always right to distance myself first, and it's never too late for me to turn back if it's not dangerous.

But there was a thud behind me, and the regular sound told me that there was a living creature coming after me, and its steps were bigger than humans, and its footsteps were heavy and faster than mine.

I made a sharp turn and ran to the staircase, two or three steps combined to jump down, seeing that there were still seven or eight steps to run back to the hall, suddenly the backpack behind me sank, the huge falling force pulled me back and leaned back, my breathing followed a tight, knowing that this is the backpack was pulled, at this time I can't care much, the shoulders are folded back, by the force of pulling to unload the backpack, before the thing behind me did not react, suddenly bent the knees and made a big jump, jumping directly from the middle of the stairs, this action is actually very risky, I could have sprained my foot or fallen and, but reality doesn't allow me to hesitate.

When I landed, I leaned to the right side and lost my balance, I simply fell down by inertia, and when my right shoulder hit the ground, I immediately rolled and then got up, although the posture was awkward, but I didn't waste time running for my life.

Even so, the moment I got up, I felt a strong wind sweep over my back, accompanied by the sound of a heavy object falling on the ground, and the thing wanted to pounce on me, so dangerous, it was almost able to knock me down!

I kicked the soles of my feet, exerted force on my thighs, jumped to the gate with a few arrows, pulled open the small slit that allowed me to squeeze out, dodged out, and then immediately turned around and stuck the crowbar in the middle of the doorknob, almost at the same time, the door was slammed so hard that I didn't dare to hold it up, grabbed the fire axe that had stood by the door and put it back as it was.

The impact inside is also increasing, that thing is eighty percent hungry, fortunately this door is not glass, otherwise this thing will run out, not only will I finish playing, other zombies may also become its delicious meal.

The doorknob returned to its original state, and I looked at the position of the door fold, which was already a little bent outward, and it was not okay to go on like this, and I thought, I will not be able to support the door panel in a short time.

The only ones in the factory that can block the door are the large processing equipment, but I can't move it at the moment.

When I was at a loss, I suddenly remembered that there were a few oil drums piled up in the corner of the processing workshop, if there was oil in them?

Thinking of this, I immediately ran into the workshop and found the oil drums, only two of the five drums were full, and the remaining three were empty.

I carried two oil drums back to the door of the office building, and poured all the oil in one bucket on the door panel, and the oil in the other bucket poured in while the thing knocked the two door panels out of the gap half a fist wide, this time must be mastered, and the force and amount of oil poured must also be controlled, just when I thought that the whole body of the thing had been drenched with oil and was about to take out the lighter, the damn door panel suddenly made a piercing metal friction sound, and the right door fold collapsed!

In an instant, my fingers were so stiff that I lost control, and I pressed it three times in a row before I could turn on the lighter, and I didn't have time to pick a position, so I threw the lighter out as if it was burned.

The lighter ignited the door panel, and the monster that was about to emerge from behind the door was engulfed in flames with a whimper, but the fire didn't dampen its determination to catch me.

I watched as a humanoid monster lunged at me with a rotten face burned and twisted, and carried a suffocating wave of heat.

Empty-handed and unarmed, I had no other way but to run, and I definitely couldn't run to the gate, the rotting corpses were soft and slippery, and I would be caught up before I could climb into the bus.

Neither warehouses nor workshops work, there is only one exit, and once the monster blocks me inside, it will be impossible to escape.

Come to think of it, I can only circle around the courtyard, this monster has better bounce than me, and playing obstacle courses with it is to find death.

If you were to give me a close-up of the aerial shot at this moment, it would be very exciting, a monster on fire and roaring in anger, chasing me so closely that I could feel it even if I didn't look back, because the scorching heat was always roasting my back, and the headwind could choke on the scorching smell in my nose.

How long is 10 minutes?
