165 Martial Arts Barrier

In the Tibetan Scripture Pavilion, two little monks were sleeping soundly on the lamp, while Meng Xiuyuan and the sweeping monk were facing each other not far behind them.

Originally, because of the impurities in the lamp oil, the lights in this pavilion would flicker slightly, but from the moment the sweeping monk walked in, the lamp seemed to be stained with some spiritual charm, and immediately stabilized.

The soft light reflected on the faces of Meng Xiuyuan and the sweeping monk, only illuminating the faces of the two of them as handsome and elegant, and the other as kind and kind, but there was no hostility.

"Good, good, donor doesn't have to be polite.

The old man is just a serving monk who does miscellaneous work in this scripture pavilion, and he should not be called a master.

On the contrary, the donor is young, and his inner cultivation is superb, and he can still uphold his heart and not do anything beyond the norm in the pavilion of this Tibetan martial arts classics for many days, which is really a good martial arts character.

The old man has not been out of this Tibetan Scripture Pavilion for a long time, and he didn't expect that the free faction would produce such a young hero as the donor.

If the donor has something to ask, please ask. ”

The sweeping monk didn't make any movement when he spoke, but suddenly he saw a pair of futons in the corner outside Zhang Xu trembling slightly, and then as if they were being dragged by a pair of invisible hands, he slowly slid towards the two.

When the futon slid in front of the two of them, they saw the old monk politely salute again, and motioned to Meng Xiuyuan to sit down and speak.

Meng Xiuyuan couldn't help but feel a pang in his heart when he heard that the sweeping monk had revealed the origin of his martial arts as soon as he saw him, and when he saw such a miracle.

But after all, he knew that the other party was unfathomable, and Meng Xiuyuan was not too surprised, he just nodded at the old monk, and then sat down comfortably and said:

"The master can do it like this, without pretending to be foreign things, and the kung fu is really powerful.

It's just that I don't know if the master has already integrated his martial arts and created a unique 'artistic conception'? ”

Meng Xiuyuan was not vain, when he said the doubts in his heart, he wanted to ask for an answer from this sweeping monk.

When he first heard the old monk's heartbeat and breathing just now, he found that it seemed to be integrated with the surrounding environment, pulsating with the ground under his feet, and his breath changed with the surrounding air current, and he only felt that the person in front of him was unfathomable.

No wonder I didn't notice its existence for many days.

But after careful observation, Meng Xiuyuan saw some doorways in this sweeping monk.

The feeling between the breath and breath of this old monk is somewhat similar to the "martial arts artistic conception" shown by Zhang Zhenren in his previous life with "Tai Chi", as if he integrated himself into the surrounding environment.

It's just that there are subtleties, there are some differences, and it seems to be a little worse than Zhang Sanfeng's charm.

Since Meng Xiuyuan hadn't personally practiced to this level, he couldn't speak clearly, so he had to ask for advice.

When the old monk suddenly heard Meng Xiuyuan say this, he couldn't help but be slightly surprised, and asked Meng Xiuyuan in reverse:

"How could the benefactor, who is a teacher of the Loose School, recognize this?

But have you been instructed by other masters? ”

Meng Xiuyuan was stunned when he heard this, and he didn't understand the meaning of the old monk's words, but out of politeness, he still nodded and said sincerely:

"What the master said is true, I know this 'martial arts artistic conception', which really has nothing to do with the Xiaoyao School, but I have seen it from another master.

It's just that I don't know why the master has this question, looking at your appearance, it seems that you know a lot about the Easy School? ”

Seeing that Meng Xiuyuan was so sincere, the sweeping monk did not hide it, nodded at him and said:

"When Lao Wei was young, many things had not yet been seen through, and he once traveled out of the temple in order to verify his martial arts.

It was at that moment that I had a chance to get acquainted with the Xiaoyaozi seniors of your faction......"

As he spoke, the sweeping monk briefly recounted the incident when he was out traveling, and happened to meet Xiaoyaozi.

According to him, although he had not yet achieved great martial arts at that time, he was quite appreciated by Xiaoyaozi because of his natural talent.

If it weren't for the shortcoming of "not being very handsome", Xiaoyaozi might have to force him to be a disciple.

It was in this process that he learned about the martial arts of the Xiaoyao School, and was also inspired by many of Xiaoyaozi's martial arts concepts, and his own kung fu went further.

Speaking of this, the sweeping monk couldn't help but admire Meng Xiuyuan's martial arts:

"Donor, your body is as deep as the sea, but it is very pure, obviously not taken from someone else's body.

At your age, it is really shocking to have such a cultivation.

If Xiaoyaozi's predecessors are still there, you must be his favorite apprentice.

It's a pity that to practice the martial arts of your free school, you have a lot of requirements for external objects. If it weren't for fate, it would be difficult to reach the realm of Xiaoyaozi's predecessors......"

When Meng Xiuyuan heard this old monk talk about this, he couldn't help but feel moved in his heart and became interested.

You must know that even Wu Yazi, a personal disciple of the Xiaoyao Sect, failed to reveal such key information when he talked about the martial arts of the Xiaoyao School with Meng Xiuyuan.

Now it is an unexpected joy to suddenly hear this sweeping monk mention it, obviously this old monk did have a deep exchange with Xiaoyaozi back then, and he knows the tricks of the Xiaoyao faction very well.

Seeing this, Meng Xiuyuan would not let go of this opportunity, and hurriedly preached to him:

"Master, I practiced in a cave blessed land a few days ago, and when my skills were profound, I used the "Northern Spiritual Skill" again, and I felt that I could inhale a light and elegant breath from the outside world into my body......"

As he spoke, Meng Xiuyuan inhaled the "aura" in his luck and chatted with the sweeping monk carefully.

And the old monk was not surprised when he heard this, he only nodded, and said happily for Meng Xiuyuan:

"The kung fu of Xiaoyaozi's predecessors is passed down from the immortal Changchun Valley in the southwest, and it can be traced back to the qi refiners of ancient times.

If you can have such an experience, it is obvious that you have already entered the door, and you are destined to find a treasure land suitable for practice.

In such a situation, if you collect all the kung fu left by Xiaoyaozi's predecessors and then investigate the 'martial arts obstacles' in it, it won't take long for the donor to achieve great things. ”

When Meng Xiuyuan heard this, it was really beneficial to communicate with this old monk in the secret way, so he couldn't help but hurriedly ask:

"What is the 'martial arts barrier' mentioned by the master?"

This old monk Xu is Buddhism is profound and compassionate, Xu is because he is familiar with Xiaoyaozi, and he has a bit of incense for Meng Xiuyuan, the successor of the Xiaoyao faction, in short, he listened to Meng Xiuyuan's question one after another, and he was not impatient, but explained to Meng Xiuyuan more and more carefully and carefully:

"Commonly speaking, the 'martial arts handicap' refers to the obstacle caused by the lack of cognition of the martial artist when he is practicing martial arts.

But at your level, it's different.

If you want to take another step and be extraordinary, there are only two ways to go.

Either it is like your free school, seeking the nature of heaven and earth, and accepting the essence of heaven and earth into the body.

Either it is to use the method passed down by my Shaolin Dharma patriarch to seek one's own body, integrate Buddhism and martial arts, and refine and condense the true qi.

But in this process, unlike the practice of martial arts, there is a difficult barrier that needs to be broken, which is what I call the 'martial arts barrier'. ”

Meng Xiuyuan listened to the words of the sweeping monk, and couldn't help but feel that there was a lot of information in it, and it was quite consistent with some of his own experiences in his previous life. After pondering for a moment, he asked:

"Master, you said that you have refined and condensed the true qi, is the method passed down by your temple to compress those true qi into liquid?"

The sweeping monk nodded when he heard this, and he didn't hide anything, and calmly explained to Meng Xiuyuan:

"After I said goodbye to my predecessors, I went back to the temple to meditate, and I accidentally discovered the method of breaking through the limits of martial arts left by the Bodhidharma Patriarch in this Tibetan scripture pavilion, which was hidden in a book of "Vimala Sutra".

This part of the content is hidden, and if the reader has not cultivated martial arts and Buddhism to a very high level, he will not be able to see the deep meaning of it.

At that time, I had been studying for more than ten years, but I did not make any progress, but because of this, I became greedy, hateful, and resentful, which caused my soul to be disturbed and my body damaged.

It wasn't until I realized that I was exhausted, and then I went to read the Buddhist scriptures in the Tibetan Scripture Pavilion one by one, and finally became enlightened for a while and crossed the 'martial arts barrier'.

Martial arts and Buddhism are connected, and the world seems to have changed in my eyes.

And the true qi of the body was naturally tempered in this process, becoming thick and dense, like substance, and it is indeed quite appropriate to say that it is like water. ”

As he spoke, the old monk slowly stretched out his hand and put it on Meng Xiuyuan's shoulder, injecting a dignified true qi into his body, allowing him to feel it intuitively.

Seeing this, Meng Xiu's heart couldn't help but feel warm, and secretly said that this senior monk was really broad-minded, and he was really trying to solve his doubts.

Carefully experiencing the true qi of the sweeping monk, Meng Xiuyuan only felt that its quality was really different, pure and heavy, and the inner spiritual rhyme was definitely far beyond the ordinary true qi in the world.

It's just that compared to the liquefied true qi he cultivated in the deep sea in his previous life, the true qi of the sweeping monk seems to be a little worse in density.

Thinking about the first time they met, seeing that this old monk seemed to integrate himself into the surrounding environment, but it was slightly worse than Zhang Sanfeng's "martial arts artistic conception", Meng Xiuyuan couldn't help but realize in an instant and saw through the cultivation of this sweeping monk.

It turned out that in his previous life, he and his master Zhang Zhenren tried the two otherworldly paths, and they did not go wrong.

Together, the two are weakened separately, which is the current state of the sweeping monk.

The two paths of integrating one's own martial arts, condensing the "artistic conception of martial arts", and compressing and turning one's own true qi into a liquid state, can actually coexist, and they can all be classified as the method of "seeking one's own body from within".

It's just that unlike the detailed guidance left by the sweeping monk Bodhidharma, who can practice step by step, Meng Xiuyuan and Zhang Sanfeng both relied on their own talents and groped in the unknown, and finally achieved such an achievement.

Especially the master Zhang Zhenren, from an outcast who was expelled from the Shaolin Temple, with a set of Arhat boxing and a little incomplete "Jiuyang Divine Skill", he actually created a complete martial arts system in a hundred years, and finally integrated it completely, condensed his own "martial arts artistic conception".

Based on this artistic conception alone, Zhang Sanfeng's original work is more suitable for his own body than the sweeping monk inheriting the wisdom of his predecessors.

And Meng Xiuyuan believes that with Zhang Sanfeng's healthy body, it will not be a problem to live for a few more decades. During this time, Xu was able to work out the method of "compressing true qi" together.

It can only be said that Zhang Zhenren's martial arts achievements in his life are indeed the same as Shaolin's Bodhidharma Patriarch, which can be called ancient and modern.

For a while, Meng Xiuyuan couldn't help but feel proud of his master, and his mind couldn't help but have many memories of his past life.

From his six-year-old master leading him up the mountain, to the sixteen-year-old master teaching him "Zixiao Sword Qi", to the twenty-six-year-old master reluctant to send him out of that world.

If it weren't for Master's guidance along the way, he would never have been where he is today.

Thinking of this, Meng Xiuyuan's heart couldn't help but move, and secretly said that he didn't know where he got the luck to be able to worship such a good master.

However, the opportunity to seek knowledge in front of him was rare, so Meng Xiuyuan didn't do much emotion, immediately cleaned up his mood, and asked the sweeping monk for advice:

"Master, do you know what the 'martial arts obstacles' will be faced after the three divine skills of the Carefree Sect are combined?"

Meng Xiuyuan thought that if he could know in advance, he would be prepared.

I don't want to, but after hearing this, the sweeping monk shook his head and replied to Meng Xiuyuan:

"This martial arts obstacle is unpredictable, and you have to encounter it yourself to fully understand it.

I haven't practiced the martial arts of the Loose School, so I don't know much about it. ”

Meng Xiuyuan couldn't help but feel a little regretful when he heard this, but he thought that he had chatted with this sweeping monk for a while today, and he had gained a lot, so he didn't ask for too much, and he looked up and wanted to thank the old monk.

Who knew that his words of thanks had not yet come out, and he did hear that the sweeping monk seemed to have not finished what he had just said, and continued to say:

"However, I heard Xiaoyaozi's predecessors mention that when they first practiced the kung fu of their lineage, they had higher requirements for the qualifications of their disciples, but when they wanted to cultivate to the highest level, they had requirements for the disciples' mental nature.

To put it simply, it is to achieve the word 'free'.

Do what you want, not bound by worldly dogma. But you can also uphold your own heart and not be enslaved by desires.

Xiaoyaozi's predecessors once said that the reason why he accepted a total of three disciples, one man and two women, and divided the divine skills into three places and taught them three separately, was to temper their hearts.

Handsome men and beautiful women, mutual affection and admiration, are taken for granted in the minds of the carefree school, and they are also a process that must be experienced.

But because of this, there will be a lot of hatred and resentment, which will entangle these three people.

One day, when the three of them see through all this, let go of the resentment in their hearts, and return to their freedom, they will be able to practice to the highest depths naturally......"

Speaking of this, the sweeping monk looked at Meng Xiuyuan slightly, then lowered his head slightly, and was silent.

Meng Xiuyuan knew that the old monk should have told everything he knew, and he didn't keep it anymore.

In addition to thanking him in his heart, Meng Xiuyuan still couldn't help but ask again and finally said:

"Master, thank you for helping me out, and I have benefited a lot from it.

It's just that I have one last question for you.

I don't know if you know, there is a Khitan who has been stealing Shaolin stunts from you all the year round, where is he now? ”

When the sweeping monk heard this, he still replied calmly:

"In the Tibetan Scripture Pavilion, there are indeed two laymen who have borrowed martial arts secrets for many years.

But recently, Xu is the seventy-two stunts hidden in this pavilion, and they have all been copied, so I haven't seen them come back for a long time.

So donor, I'm sorry, although you have wasted a few days in this pavilion, I don't know what happened to them at this time. ”

When Meng Xiuyuan heard this, he hurriedly waved his hand, indicating that it didn't matter.

In the middle of the night, the sweeping monk knew everything, solved many confusions in Meng Xiuyuan's heart, and pointed out the way forward, which was really a rare opportunity.

Therefore, after Meng Xiuyuan solemnly said goodbye to the sweeping monk, in addition to thinking about the so-called "martial arts barrier", he couldn't help but think:

How to find an opportunity to return this favor to Shaolin Temple.
