Chapter 36: It's Over?
"Burn off the fire!" A cold incantation sounded, and a black-red flame suddenly appeared.
This is one of the more difficult of the dark arts, called the Flame Charm, which summons the flames of hell and burns the target in front of you to ashes. The fire won't be extinguished until it's completely burned!
It can be said that this is an extremely dangerous black magic.
However, Weston didn't care, in his Animagus state, any dark magic had a certain bonus, and it was very easy to control.
He had already quietly experimented with this.
As the fire burned in the swarm, the strong smell of roasted locust-like flesh wafted back and forth throughout the corridor, mixed with a hint of fishy stench in between.
The scarabs screamed miserably, but to no avail. Some of the scarab beetles took the initiative to rush towards the flames, and some of them rolled into a large ball of insects, trying to break out of the range of the fierce fire.
It's just that it's useless, and it's not a joke to claim that the fire will never be extinguished.
"Squeak!" The remaining scarab beetles screamed a few times, and the insect tide seemed to freeze for a moment, and then retreated towards the place from which they came from faster than when they came.
"Man, you're there!" When Hussein saw this, he praised it loudly.
Weston turned his head to look at him, Hussein was like being poured a basin of cold water, he suddenly came back to his senses from the excitement, and even a little mentally chilled - it was a pair of eyes without the slightest emotion!
Weston sensed it, and lost that sense of crisis in his psyche, and then took Hussein down, and then withdrew from the state of Animagus.
"Whew-" Weston let out a long breath as his wings folded, and the agility in his eyes returned.
"What's wrong with you?" Weston looked at Hussein, who was far away from him, and asked puzzledly.
"Ahaha, nothing!" Hussein forced a smile, "What, will those scarabs still come over?" β
Weston took a deep look at Hussein and shook his head slowly.
He knew what Hussein was all about, which is why he didn't keep the Animagus. Weston himself could clearly feel that in the Animagus, a part of his humanity would be indifferent, and there would be an extra part of divinity.
The so-called divinity is not Weston's boasting, but a feeling of looking at all beings as ants, as if anyone who looks at him more will have a feeling of being blasphemed.
Weston knew that this was the majesty of divinity. If he keeps it up, I'm afraid that the human side of him will become less and less, or even disappear completely.
This is what he does not want to see, and he would rather be a man than a god.
"Let's go! And Immorton is not completely wiped out! Weston said lightly and led the way inside.
Hussein was silent for a moment, but still followed Weston up.
For a while, there was a lot of silence between the two, and a faint estrangement appeared in the hearts of the two.
When they arrived at the hall of the Anubis Statue, the sarcophagus was still in its position as yesterday, and there was no change, which also made the two of them quietly breathe a sigh of relief.
Immorton's name is so loud that it makes me a little nervous! Weston thought to himself, a little crying and laughing.
The resurrected Immorton may indeed be very powerful, but without the resurrection, he is a slightly longer skeleton of bones!
"Do I still need a certificate of opening?" Weston tilted his head slightly towards Hussein and asked.
Hussein was stunned for a moment, then shook his head.
Weston nodded slightly, indicating understanding, and then focused his gaze on the sarcophagus again, pointed at his wand, and muttered: "Burn away from the fire!" β
Black-red flames reappeared, enveloping the entire sarcophagus.
"Ahh
Is this the end of it?
Hussein suddenly had a feeling of unreality, and there was a faint sense of relief and emptiness in his heart, all in all, it was complicated......
"Let's go!" Weston glanced around, then said lightly, and turned to walk out.
Hussein nodded silently, and also looked around, feeling that something was different, and there seemed to be no difference.
Still too sensitive! It's like a dream! Hussein laughed to himself, and then followed Weston without looking back.
The two who left naturally didn't see it, and the corners of Anubis's statue's mouth were slightly raised, as if they were laughing? ......
Walking out of the Hamna Tower, Hussein let out a long breath, looked at Weston's back, and suddenly shouted: "Weston! β
"What's wrong?" Weston turned, looking at him quizzically.
"Nothing, I want to say......" Hussein's voice choked up a little, "thank you!" Thank you, buddy! β
"It's nothing!" Weston chuckled, "I got what I wanted, too!" You don't want to go back! β
"Haha, I don't have that ability!" Hussein smiled heartily, "In your hands, it's yours!" Don't worry, I'll tell them not to talk nonsense! β
Weston smiled and nodded, but he didn't care. What can you do?! Leaving Egypt and wanting to get something from him without his consent is a dream!
I'm not a nice person! Weston smiled self-deprecatingly.
"Guys!" Hussein then ran up to the mausoleum guards and shouted, "The monster has been destroyed!" We're free! β
"Hoorayβ" The mausoleum keepers cheered loudly, singing and dancing in place, and some even had tears in their eyes.
The mission that has been maintained for 3,000 years is finally liberated!
Is that the boy? After the mausoleum keepers were quiet, their eyes were focused on Weston's body, and their faces were full of gratitude and adoration.
"Weston!" Hussein turned his head to look at Weston, smiled and patted him on the shoulder, and hugged him hard, "Although I have already said it!" But I still have to say, thank you, man! β
"Nothing!" Weston and Hussein hugged for a moment, then teased, "Still, I think I should remind you that you should take a shower!" β
Everyone was stunned for a moment, and then burst into laughter.
"You're still a jerk!" Hussein spat with a dark face.
At the insistence of Hussein and the mausoleum guards, Weston was forcibly taken away half of the treasure, and then watched Hussein and the mausoleum guards leave with a whistle.
It's time to go to Curator Dino! Weston muttered silently, casually stuffed the space bag containing the treasure into the box, and did not ride a horse, turned around and disappeared in place.
Under the sun, the ancient city fell silent again, as if there had never been a hustle and bustle here......
