Let's talk about Zhao Kuo
Let's talk about Zhao Kuo in history.
When it comes to Zhao Kuo, it is generally divided into two points of view.
One is that Zhao Kuo is powerful, and it is generally said that Zhao Kuo led his troops to fight for the first time, and 50,000 casualties could kill about half of the soldiers of the Qin army, and this battle loss ratio was simply terrifying.
After that, he was able to hold on to Bai Qi for 46 days without food, which is already very powerful.
The second is that Zhao Kuo can't do it, generally saying that his parents think he can't do it, you know him better than their parents, and he was beaten into a war of annihilation under the strength of one to one and five forces, there is nothing to brag about, and it is impossible to destroy a pig.
When it comes to Zhao Kuo, I have to mention the Battle of Changping, no one knows what is going on with the specific details of the Battle of Changping, those TV dramas, films, documentaries, public account articles, etc. are all speculation, that is, guessing, this book is pure nonsense, and it is impossible to restore the true face of history.
So I won't mention the specific details, let's talk about the author's personal opinion.
1. The author believes that it is not the first time that Zhao Kuo has led troops to fight, of course, there is no evidence, and it is purely personal speculation.
There is no record of Zhao Kuo leading troops to fight in the history books, but according to Zhao Hao's age, it is speculated that Zhao Kuo should be about thirty years old at that time.
In the troubled times, the son of Jiangmen has never fought at the age of thirty.
To be honest, it's not very likely.
Moreover, it is impossible for King Zhao to hand over an army of 450,000 to a person who has never led troops to fight, this kind of thing will definitely not be able to be done without 20 years of cerebral thrombosis, not for a day. (There is a suspicion of smearing King Zhao in the book, of course, if you have to say that King Zhao has a cerebral thrombosis for 20 years, then the author has nothing to say.) οΌ
On the other hand, it is even more impossible for the Qin State to tout such a person who has never led troops to fight, Zhao Kuo must at least have some achievements to make the Qin State brag, this record may not be much, but it must be there.
2. "Grain cut" refers to the grain cut-off. Zhao Kuo did not hold on for 46 days without food, but for 46 days when the grain route was cut off.
If there is no food at all, or if there is only two or three days of food for the rapid march, let alone Zhao Kuo, even if God comes, it is impossible to hold out for 46 days.
It is not possible to chi, like Zhang Xun, because Zhang Xun is a soldier and a citizen, and the weak side has no ability to resist, Zhao Kuo is a soldier, who wants to be chi?
If it is really a soldier, Zhao Kuo can still control the army of 400,000, then Zhao Kuo's ability can directly break through the sky, and at another point in time, at least the ten philosophers of Wumiao will start.
And if there is really no food, it is impossible for Zhao Kuo to stay where he is and wait for reinforcements, and in the end, when there is no food, he knows how to fight, and he doesn't know if there is no food at the beginning?
3. The problem of the battle loss ratio, I don't know where it came out of nowhere, Zhao Kuo killed half of the Qin army with 50,000 casualties.
This statement mainly comes from the "Historical Records: The Biography of Bai Qilie", "400,000 people died and surrendered to Wu Anjun...... beheaded 450,000 captives before and after" and Bai Qi said to the king of Qin: "Although Qin has broken the Changping army, more than half of the Qin soldiers have died, and the country is empty. β
Therefore, many people use this as a basis to say that the Qin army lost more than half of the battle of Changping, and in addition to the 400,000 surrendered by the Zhao State, only 50,000 were killed in the battle.
The question is, when did Bai Qi say this, it was said by Bai Qi two years after the Battle of Changping, when the Qin State failed to attack Handan several times, and the King of Qin asked Bai Qi to lead his troops to attack Handan.
Therefore, this "today" cannot refer to the simple Battle of Changping, but from the Battle of Changping to the time when Bai Qi said this sentence.
There is a high probability that there will be exaggerations.
If more than half of the losses were lost in the Battle of Changping alone, what would the Qin State use to expedition to the Zhao State?
So those one-to-a few battle loss ratios are not valid.
4, Zhao Kuo's parents' evaluation of him can't stand scrutiny.
Historical records"...... Luxury can't be difficult, but it's not good. Kuo's mother asked why she was extravagant, and she said...... "This kind of husband and wife discussing their son, can Sima Qian know?" It is impossible to record the private history of Zhao Guo.
If it is said in public, then it can't explain anything, who is not modest in front of outsiders? Don't scold a few dogs? You must not boast of your son to heaven.
Look at what his mother said at the end, "The king will send him in the end, that is, if he is not worthy, the concubine has nothing to do", what does it mean?
If Zhao Kuo is incompetent, can I not be sitting?
This joint sitting is obviously not an ordinary joint sitting, otherwise it would be impossible for Zhao Mu to say it specially.
I have to say that even if his mother thinks that Zhao Kuo shouldn't go, she only thinks that she will lose, not that 400,000 people will be buried alive, otherwise it is impossible to let Zhao Kuo go even if she carries a coffin and lies in front of the palace.
But I also mentioned in the book that there were not too many generals who lost the war during the Warring States Period, and the cavalry robbery directly sent most of the rivers and mountains that were defeated during the period of King Yan Zhao, and the family was sat together?
This may not be documented.
What about Lian Po?
Lian Po directly drove away Lecheng, who accepted the military power, which is equivalent to a rebellion.
King Zhao didn't let go of his fart, and even wanted to call him back later, and Lian Po himself wanted to come back.
If the family is sat together, Lian Po will still want to ask Zhao Guo to die for King Zhao?
Later, Li Mu was killed on the charge of rebellion, and the family went down to accompany him?
The historical records also recorded a sentence: "King Zhao also used his mother's preface, but he didn't punish him." β
It means that because of those previous words, King Zhao did not connect with Zhao Kuo's mother.
The question is, if King Zhao really wants to be connected, those previous words are useful? I promised not to kill your whole family, but only you?
King Zhao couldn't think of it, and the minister could think of it, but he didn't do it.
Obviously, if you lose, your family will not be connected.
Then there is a contradiction with what Sima Qian recorded.
Perhaps these are Sima Qian's own words, "Snare the world and let go of the old news, and briefly examine his actions" and Kong Rong said, "Take it for granted".
5. The problem of food shortage. There is a clear record of the lack of grain in the Zhao State, "Historical Records of Tian Jingzhong Completes the Family" "The king was founded for six years, and Qin attacked Zhao...... Zhao Wushi, please Su Yuqi, Qi doesn't listen...... Qin Po Zhao Yu Changping more than 400,000 yuan, then besieged Handan. β
There is a problem here, the sixth year of King Qi's construction, it was 259 BC, and it stands to reason that the Battle of Changping has ended. But Qin Po and Zhao Yu Changping wrote it in the back again.
The author doesn't know what's going on.
But what is certain is that whether this borrowing of grain occurred in the Battle of Changping or the year after, it can be said that the Zhao State has no grain.
Needless to say, the Battle of Changping took place.
If it happened a year after the Battle of Changping, the Qin State attacked the Zhao State in October, and the Zhao State should have one to two seasons of autumn harvest, but the result was not enough food to defend Handan, so you can imagine what the point of the Battle of Changping was.
Qin also has a record of "the country is empty and the people are hungry", and the "LΓΌ's Spring and Autumn Period" also says that "although Qin is victorious over Changping, it will be decided in three years, the people are tired, and the grain ...".
But look at what Qin State did:
In 264 B.C., he attacked the Korean city of Eonseong.
In 263 BC, he attacked Namyang, Korea.
From 262 BC to 260 BC, the Battle of Changping.
In October 260 BC, after the Battle of Changping, (in October of the 48th year, Qin restored Shangdang County. Wang Ji will cut down Zhao Wu'an, Pi Prison, and pull it out. Sima Terrier North Ding Taiyuan, all Han Shang Party)
In 261 B.C., he took the time to take the Gushi and Lin of Korea.
From 259 BC to 257 BC, the defense of Handan. In the middle, the Qin State also took the time to fight the Wei State, and even Yecheng was defeated.
In December, when Handan was not defeated, the Qin army withdrew, and then defeated the Wei-Chu coalition forces along the Yellow River.
In 256 BC, he beat Han Zhao Wei again and destroyed the Western Zhou Dynasty.
Either in the war or on the way to the war, can this people not tire of it? Can you not be hungry?
However, if you want to say that Qin State is short of food, I don't know if you believe it or not, anyway, I don't believe it, there is absolutely no way to fight so vigorously because of the lack of food, even if the people are squeezed dry and their faces are hungry.
At least there is an army of food for them.
(It should be mentioned here that, according to scholars' research, the Qin State changed to the Zhuan calendar since the 42nd year of King Qin Zhao, with October as the first year, and in the 49th year of King Qin Zhao, it resumed to take the first month as the year, but still used the Zhuan calendar.) After Qin Shi Huang ascended the throne, he changed October to the beginning of the year.
Therefore, it will be recorded in the "Historical Records: The Biography of Bai Qi" that in September of the forty-seventh year of King Qin Zhao, Bai Qi defeated Zhao Kuo. In October of the forty-eighth year, Qin reinstated Shangdang County. It seems to be a year and a month apart, but in fact it is only one month. There is also a sentence in the back of "Qin Benji": "In October, the five major doctors attacked Zhao Handan." (The biography of Bai Qilie is written in September.) As a result, there are two Octobers, and many people think that the biography is wrong, but in fact, there are two Octobers in the forty-eighth year of King Qin Zhao, because the forty-ninth year is counted from the first month. οΌ
6. Zhao Kuo's 450,000 fought 600,000, and finally the whole army was wiped out. The "Historical Records" clearly recorded that the Zhao army was 450,000, but the Qin army did not record it, and now it is generally believed to be 600,000, so let's take it as 600,000 for the time being.
Many people believe that it is impossible for 400,000 people to be wiped out by any change of person, which is the only case in China in the past 5,000 years.
It should be said here that Zhao Kuo died in battle, and the Zhao army surrendered.
Zhao Jun was buried alive by Bai Qi after surrendering.
There are not many examples of total annihilation in history, but there are too many examples of surrender, not to mention far away, that is, in the past hundred years, there are no two hands to count.
Are those who surrendered stronger than Zhao Kuo? Not.
The only difference is that their opponents are not in vain, and they did not choose to bury them alive.
As for why Bai Qi was buried alive, there are generally two theories for him.
One is that the Qin State has no food, which is obviously not true, as mentioned above, the Qin State is fighting so hard, it is absolutely impossible to run out of food.
The second is the military merit system of the Qin State, which is obviously not true, the military merit system is normally considered beheading, and Bai Qi did not behead him, but was buried alive. The battle of Huayang was even more drowned.
Moreover, the captives are not considered military merits, "Warring States Policy: Han Ce" recorded: "The Qin people donated armor to the city to attract the enemy, the left head of the people, and the right to take prisoners." β
If the prisoner is not considered a military merit, then why did the Qin soldiers capture the prisoner? Can't you just kill it? This is not a captive who surrenders, but a capture, and it is much more difficult to capture a person on the battlefield than to kill a person.
In addition, Sima Wrong Nanping Bashu, Wang Jian and his son destroyed the Five Kingdoms in the east, and those captives were all killed?
Not really.
Maybe this is the success or defeat, as long as you win, there will always be someone to defend you.
7, in the Battle of Changping, Zhao is bound to lose, and it is useless for anyone to come. Zhao Kuo has been scolded for thousands of years and is very wronged.
The territory of the Qin State was larger than that of the Zhao State.
The population is larger than that of Zhao.
The system is more perfect than that of Zhao Guo.
The equipment is better than the equipment of the Zhao State.
There were more soldiers than the soldiers of the Zhao State.
The grain is more abundant than the grain of the Zhao country.
The intelligence system is better than the intelligence system of the Zhao State.
Even the monarch was wiser than the monarch of the Zhao State.
There are only three ways for Zhao Guo to turn the tables.
The first is to enhance one's own strength, that is, to join forces. In history, King Zhao did not listen to Yu Qing, and chose to listen to Lou Chang's to seek peace, and was finally destroyed by the Qin State.
The second is a meteorite from the sky and the like, which is hard to find.
The strength of the commander of the third one far exceeds the strength of the commander of the Qin army, it is almost useless, it must be far beyond Yu to have any hope of winning, because Bai Qi is not only capable, but also yin, plus the strength of the Qin State behind him comprehensively crushes the Zhao State.
China has been up and down for 5,000 years, and there have been many famous generals, and there are not no famous generals who can be compared with Bai Qi, but it is said that there are no famous generals who can far surpass Bai Qi.
So, whoever comes loses.
But then again, Zhao Kuo, as the head coach, lost the fight. In any case, there is an unshirkable responsibility.
But that's not why he's been scolded for thousands of years.
Because there are too many dishes than him.
The robbery of Yan Guo single-handedly sent the Qi State that Le Yi knocked down, which made the territory of Yan Kingdom shrink by more than half, and it shrank directly, how many people know the name?
Half of the country of Chu was beaten, the capital of the country fell, and even the royal tomb was burned, how many people knew what the king of Chu was called? What is the name of the coach of the state of Chu?
Then Han Wei is often wiped out by Bai Qituan, which general has been stinking for 10,000 years?
Zhao Kuo has been stinking for 10,000 years, there are no more than two reasons, one is that the idiom of talking on paper was placed on his head.
There is no paper in the Warring States, and the paper talk was not about Zhao Kuo at the beginning, it was the last to run Zhao Kuo's head.
While improving Zhao Kuo's popularity, it also made him constantly scolded (anyway, it is better to feel that it is better to be stinking for 10,000 years than to be obscure.) οΌ
The second is that the textbook records this matter, and what level of existence is the textbook, which is countless times stronger than all the recommended positions.
He has to be what he says.
is also a loser, Jing Ke has become a symbol of not being afraid of power because it is a positive portrayal.
Zhao Kuo is a negative description, and he has become a representative of the war on paper.
Do you say wronged?
As for how capable Zhao Kuo is, and whether it is possible to become a famous general, I can only say:
Han Xin's crotch was humiliated, and Tong Guan's military exploits were crowned kings.
If he died at that time, who knows the authenticity of the famous general?
β¦β¦
The author is not a history major, and the above content is pure nonsense.
