Chapter Thirty-Eight: Teaching Hongyi "I Ching"

In this way, time passed quietly and unconsciously, and the two masters and apprentices of Hong Yi and Wu Zhe did not pay attention to the situation in the outside world, so exaggerated that they didn't even count how long it had passed.

After a long period of ascetic life, on this day, a flat land in the valley of the fox clan.

Hong Yi is constantly practicing the mastery of various major sects in the outside world, such as the Dachan Temple, not to mention, as well as the Dao of Creation, the Taishang Dao, and the various martial arts techniques collected by the Daqian Dynasty.

These exercises, regardless of which school, can be called peerless, and these exercises are constantly fused and evolved in Hong Yi's hands at a speed visible to the naked eye in Hong Yi's continuous practice.

As for how these exercises came about, it is really not a difficult thing for Wu Zhe, who has a superhuman body and the top cultivation in the Yang God world, Wu Zhe is just a gentleman on the beam for a while, and there is nothing to be proud of.

I don't know how long it took, but I saw that Hong Yi's practice speed kept slowing down, and finally stopped in a strange posture, and then he slowly finished his work.

"Whew!"

Hong Yi exhaled a breath and turned into an "air sword" and directly ploughed a straight "ditch" several zhang long on the ground not far in front of him.

Seeing that Hong Yi had stopped, Wu Zhe, who was standing on the side watching, couldn't help clapping his hands, and a loud applause followed.

Hong Yi hurriedly ran to Wu Zhe's side, and Wu Zhe commented on Hong Yi's drill just now: "Yes, yes, you have already walked out of your own "Dao", and you think you have broken through the Martial Saint!" ”

Although he asked Hong Yi a question, it was with a positive tone, after all, it was impossible to be wrong with Wu Zhe's current vision, so he had this confidence.

Hong Yi replied: "Hehe, I can't hide anything from you, master, yes, the apprentice thought a lot when he meditated last night, and finally found the path that the apprentice thought he thought of, and then it was a logical breakthrough." ”

Wu Zhe smiled: "You kid is really not modest at all, but it's good, young people just have to be a little vibrant."

By the way, how did you read the large number of books on thought that the teacher gave you recently? Did you get anything out of it? ”

With Wu Zhe's current strength, it is very difficult to make a little progress, so he usually has a lot of free time.

So, he silently wrote out some of the books he had taken in the ideological and moral classes before, not to mention, with the improvement of the realm, Wu Zhe can recall the things in his memory at any time, as if he was in the scene.

I was still idle and bored, and I silently read similar books such as "Tao Te Ching".

However, nothing happened, and he thought that it would cause some kind of golden lotus to swell from the sky, or a vision of purple qi coming from the east.

He sometimes wonders if the books he wrote are not compatible with the world? Or did he write a book that was wrong because it was too old? After all, if the content is not right, what kind of vision is there to talk about?

Since this can't work, Wu Zhe changed his thinking.

He taught Hong Yi about the Book of Changes, but in order not to affect Hong Yi, he only taught him thoughts, not specific content, and let him understand it himself.

For example, teach him some central ideas such as the Book of Changes: to describe the changes of all things in the world with the opposition and unity of the two elements of yin and yang, and then give some examples to demonstrate.

There is also the cosmic thinking mode of the Book of Changes, "the unity of heaven and man", the cosmic thinking mode of "the unity of heaven and man" in the Book of Changes, which fully pays attention to understanding and grasping the world from a holistic perspective, and regards man and nature as an organic whole that induces each other.

Of course, the most important thing is the overall philosophical idea of the Book of Changes: "Yin and Yang".

In the "Words", it is said: "One yin and one yang are the Tao." "Yin and yang is one of the important ideas of ancient Chinese philosophy, and it is also the overall philosophical idea of the Book of Changes, and it is the core of the connotation of the Book of Changes.

1. The core of the hexagram of the Book of Changes:

The hexagram of the Book of Changes is based on the two symbols of Yin and Yang, which are arranged and combined to form the Bagua according to the law of the growth and decline of yin and yang.

The composition and arrangement of the eight trigrams embodies the idea of the interaction of yin and yang, and the unity of opposites. The eight trigrams are overlapped and combined to form sixty-four hexagrams, and yin and yang are the core.

2. Two aspects of things:

In addition to the original meaning of "hexagram", the Book of Changes also regards "yin and yang" as the nature of things and the law of change, and gives the meaning of "yin and yang" to many concrete (natural and social) things.

(1) From the perspective of natural phenomena: "the sky is yang, the earth is yin, the sun is yang, the moon is yin, the summer is yang, the cold is yin, the light is yang, the darkness is yin, the day is yang, and the night is yin,......".

(2) From the perspective of social phenomena: "men are yang, women are yin, gentlemen are yang, people are yin, gentlemen are yang, villains are yin ,......".

In addition to the above two phenomena, the I Ching also explains the phenomena common to nature and society in terms of "yin and yang", and gives them the meaning of "yin and yang". Such as: rigid, soft, healthy, smooth, advance, retreat, stretch, bend, expensive, cheap, high, low, and so on.

According to the above, the Book of Changes believes that there is an opposite, whether it is social life or natural phenomena, and this opposite is "yin and yang".

These perceptions of the "Book of Changes" are all prepared by Wu Zhe before coming to this world, and he originally wanted to try whether he would directly win Hong Yi's position as "Yizi" if he wrote the "Book of Changes" before Hong Yi.

Ascend to the sky directly in one step and reach the Yang God.

But after accepting Hong Yi as an apprentice, Wu Zhe changed this idea, that is, to teach these things to Hong Yi, so that he could understand his "Book of Changes" faster.

When the time comes, Wu Zhe, as his mentor, directly asks him for some of the truths contained in the Book of Changes, and it is impossible for Hong Yi to hide it.

After all, Wu Zhe is not a "Yizi", rather than messing around by himself, it is better to consult "authoritative figures" directly.

Maybe Hong Yi's ability to find his own "Tao" so quickly is also inseparable from this!

After all, these things he taught could save Hong Yi a lot of effort in writing the Book of Changes!

Hong Yi was already confident about Wu Zhe's questions now, after all, he had already guessed that the master would definitely test him and test his recent learning results, and this was not the first time.

Hong Yi said calmly: "Master, the apprentice thinks that these books you have shown to the apprentice recently should be the works of saints, which contain infinite heaven and earth truths.

Recently, the apprentice was greatly inspired, and felt that the books he had read were not worth mentioning, and there was no comparison at all, and the apprentice was recently inspired by the writings of these sages, and actually came up with a "book" that could be written by himself that fit perfectly with himself, and many of the ideas that the master taught me could be written into.

Master, do you think I'm too arrogant when you say that? ”

Wu Zhe laughed and said: "How come, it's too late for you to think about the book and be happy for the teacher, how can I blame you?"

If the book you wrote can really be compared with those sages, wouldn't being a teacher become a teacher of saints? So it's too late for the teacher to be proud of you, so how can I blame you.

In vain, despite thinking boldly, young people must be bold and dare to think about anything. ”
