Chapter 163: Dead Air

"What is this?"

It was as if it had been dark in the train, and it was gray looking out of the train window, Hermione, with a pale face, leaned into the carriage, and Draco nervously approached Brie.

"Come here."

A cold wind accompanied the screams in the train, and Brie couldn't help but feel a chill in his skin, and the chill clinged to his heart and kept crashing.

Draco and Hermione leaned against the interior of the carriage, and Brie slowly stood up.

Suddenly, a pair of skeletal hands grabbed open the car door, and a humanoid monster like rags floated in, staring straight at Bri, as if angry at Brie's direct gaze, it rushed towards Brie, and the black mist on its body was filled with black fog, trying to envelop it.

"Dementors!" Draco let out a scream, and immediately hid behind Brie's back, and pushed Hermione to the other side.

"Calling the Divine Guard..."

A trace of white mist appeared in front of Brie, but no matter how much white mist there was, it did not summon a Patronus.

"I threw the Patronus into the Forbidden Forest!"

Brie then remembered, his brows furrowed, and he quickly added, "Soul fainting!"

Soul Faint, a soul magic invented by Brie before, had been successful on Peeves, and now he was casting it again.

A faint blue light pierced through the Dementor, but the Dementor was unaffected, grappling Brie's shoulders with teeth and claws, revealing an empty coat and hat, a large mouth of black gas eager to devour Brie's pleasure.

Brie only felt a fishy smell rushing to his face, and he dissatisfiedly cast his natural magic to isolate these breaths, and by the way, his eyes were attached to a purple light, and under the power of his spiritual sense, he soon found that the dementors were a gathering of dead air.

"Dead air?"

The Dementor didn't care that Brie was stunned, Brie only felt a chill, and his whole body became stiff, and he was about to break free, but Draco pulled Brie down and rushed forward.

"Get out of the way, you monster!"

Draco raised his wand and shouted, "Divine Guard!"

A white mist burst out of Draco's wand, but the Dementors were unwilling to let go of Brie's lovely scent, and outside the carriage, more and more Dementors also discovered it, and even outside the window, there were many Dementors floating in the sky, rushing towards Brie's side in dense clusters.

Again, a creature that is not close to the magic of nature, no, even disgusted with nature.

Brie propped himself up, watching Draco stumble and rummage in his pocket.

The ring, which I got from the ancient tree elf clan when I went to Professor Flitwick's hometown last year, can absorb the power of death!

"Calling the gods to protect you!"

Draco looked at the Dementors around him, his eyes became determined, and he shouted the spell again, a strong light flashed, and a transparent weasel rushed out of it, and when Draco's Patronus appeared, the Dementors screamed in horror as if they had been frightened by something.

But more and more Dementors rushed in, and Draco was still running out.

A Dementor sees the right moment and rushes through the hallway, its target being Brie!

"Woohoo!"

A big black dog rushed out of nowhere, and it roared at the Dementors, but the Dementors completely ignored it and still rushed towards Brie, and the big black dog jumped up and slammed straight into the Dementors, and when their bodies overlapped, the Dementors seemed to be stimulated by something, and immediately turned their attention to the Big Black Dog.

And the big black dog was about to leave at this time, luring the Dementor away.

But the Dementor outside the window also found Brie and was about to break in, Hermione, who was closest to the window, saw this, she trembled, but still tried to restrain her fear, drew her wand, and she shouted, "Hoo God Guard!"

A white mist that was stronger than the one Draco had summoned at the beginning rushed out and drove in the direction of the Dementors outside the window, but it was a drop in the bucket, and Hermione couldn't resist it.

Brie said, "Come here, Draco, Hermione."

Draco's face turned pale and obedient

The ground retreated and returned to Brie's side, Brie took out the ring of the ancient tree goblin that had not been used for a long time, and used the natural magic power to drive, a violent magic wave gushed out, those dementors seemed to see natural enemies and wanted to escape, but Brie didn't give them a chance at all, and the powerful magic controlled the rings, binding them in place, and in an instant they were all bound by power.

"Detained!"

Black chains of death, sucking the Dementors into the ring, were the spirits of the ancient trees that existed in the ring helping Brie.

By the time the voice of a middle-aged man came from the carriage in the distance, the Dementors had disappeared as if they had not appeared.

"It's okay!"

A man in a shabby wizard's robe walked in, gasping slightly, looking a little flustered, after all, there were so many Dementors here.

He wondered, "But what about the Dementors now?"

He looked at Brie and the others in the carriage, and the screams of the little wizards around him had subsided, and they should have been glad that the Dementors had set their eyes on Brie, so they didn't have time to attack them.

"I'm the new professor, and it looks like you're not hurt."

As he spoke, he smiled slightly, and took out a piece of chocolate from his pocket with a look of restraint and said, "Maybe you should eat some of this, of course, I don't have it anymore."

Brie took the chocolate and thanked the professor, "You're okay, maybe you can rest, it's okay here."

The professor nodded, he didn't ask about the Dementors, and it wasn't his responsibility.

When he left, Brie closed the door and found the chocolate lemon candy Astoria had given him.

"Eat some of yourselves, don't be picky, Draco, you should know that eating chocolate will ease the Dementors' contact."

Draco's face was as white as paper, but he still didn't want to eat Astoria's stuff, so he snatched the piece of chocolate from Brie's hand, looked at it, and said in disgust, "Cheap chocolate, huh."

Disgusted, but honest in body, Draco quickly tore open the package of chocolate and ate it slowly, Hermione on the side didn't care about the origin of the chocolate, and immediately ate it too.

Brie put the ring away, he hadn't been hurt just now, and the Dementors might be difficult to destroy, but their damage was by no means unavoidable.

To live by sucking pleasure, then wrap your body with natural magic and lock your mind, as a natural occlusive brain as Dumbledore said, this ability is still there.

"Won't you eat, Brie?" Hermione relented, only to realize that Brie hadn't eaten chocolate, so she asked.

Brie shook her head and said, "I'm fine, I'm just thinking about what to do with those Dementors, I think when I get to school, the Ministry of Magic will come looking for me."

Brie's eyes darkened.

Draco, who was on the side, heard Brie's words, and also remembered that those Dementors were taken away by Brie with a strange ring, but the Dementors were Azkaban's guards, and they also belonged to the Ministry of Magic's public officials, so the Ministry of Magic would definitely ask.

But he still said dissatisfiedly, "What Ministry of Magic, those Dementors almost killed us, I think Fudge must be crazy!"

"I've got to make it clear to my dad that it's none of your business, Brie, you can just kill those Dementors."

Brie laughed out loud at Draco's righteous appearance, while Hermione looked at Draco strangely as if she had reacquainted Draco, and couldn't help but ask, "If Harry met a Dementor, would you do the same, Malfoy?"

"Potter?"

"Are you kidding, Miss Granger, Potter has something to do with me, and if he encounters a Dementor, I should applaud and welcome him." Draco said haughtily, "Maybe the Dementors like the Savior's happiness."

Hermione had a look on her face as she shrugged helplessly at Brie.

"Alright, Draco, I'm not going to argue with the Ministry of Magic about anything, what is Fudge

Don't you know what kind of person he is, he won't make the dementors go wrong and the wizarding world will know about it."

But Brie wouldn't let the Ministry of Magic go so easily, and those Dementors were like rancid salted fish, disgusting.

Brie sat in the car, and it was getting dark outside the window, but this time it was really dark.

"I'm going to change into a wizard's robe." Hermione said a word and stepped out of the carriage.

Seeing this, Draco drew his wand and proudly said to Brie, "I'll call the gods to protect me, and see!"

A white mist rose from Draco's wand, and a small weasel jumped from it.

"Why is it so much smaller than just now?"

Brie nodded at the transparent and illusory Patronus and explained, "There are several stages of the Guardian of the Gods, namely the white mist, which condenses and forms, becomes a substance, and appears wisdom."

"You've reached the second stage, which is already good."

Draco snorted twice when he heard Brie's words, and said contentedly, "This is not good, you must know that in these generations, I should have learned to call the gods to protect me, even my father can't, this is very different!"

Draco teased the dull Patronus with great interest, but soon the Patronus vanished as the magic could not be maintained.

Brie on the side took out his notebook, writing something on it, and soon, he tore off the page of the magic condensed again, and turned into a thousand paper cranes, and the thousand paper cranes flew into the notes, and under the power of the teleportation circle, they went to the alchemy shop in Diagon Alley.

Sitting at the cash desk, Verr was about to leave work when he spotted the paper crane flying down on the table, hooked it with its tail, and immediately went to find Tom.

"What did you just write, did you write a letter to your uncle?"

Draco was aware of Brie's notes, and he said, "Give me an anchor for your notes, and write to me easily."

Brie tore off a piece of paper and handed it to Draco, who nodded, "I told Tom about my encounter with the Dementors today, hoping he would give me some advice, he is more measured than I am in dealing with these things."

He didn't want to use the Ministry's brains, he just wanted to give the Ministry of Magic a hard time, Brie knew that Tom would be able to understand his thoughts, outside of Hogwarts, but only Tom could help.

……

Soon, the Hogwarts Express stopped, Brie and Draco got off the train, and as soon as she got off the train, she saw Astoria, who was still a little relieved, those Dementors were not a beautiful thing.

"Are you alright?"

When Astoria saw Brie, she immediately broke away from the group and ran to Brie's side and whispered, "I just heard that the Dementors are all heading in your direction, but it's good that the professor is here..."

"First-year freshmen, all here!"

It was Hagrid's voice, and Astoria frowned when she heard it.

"I'll go first, Ode."

"Oh, Ode, I'll go first, haha!" After Astoria leaves, two large hands suddenly appear behind Brie, and then Draco is pushed out of the way by George, and the other side of Brie is also occupied by Fred.

"Our young master Brie is so likeable." Fred exclaimed, "It's only the first day of school."

George also helped, "It's a pure-blood girl, it looks like it's Slytherin, it's very close."

The two of them were about to continue teasing in unison, when Draco pushed George away.

"Don't do anything stupid here, two Wes, Brie won't like that little girl."

"Hmph." Draco snorted.

Brie also said, "Don't make a fuss, the carriage has arrived."

As they spoke, they had made their way to where the carriage had been parked, but this year, instead of Sylvanus Kettleburn, Professor Snape was there.

"What are you doing, go up quickly, don't be later than the freshmen."

Snape stinked, and he didn't know who had provoked him

He, he watched in disgust as he watched the figure of an adult wizard in the distance step into the carriage, and he snorted dissatisfiedly, "Dumbledore is getting more and more out of ideas, and even some people who shouldn't be here are invited to be professors, hum."

Snape flicked his robes and stepped into a carriage, and when all the young wizards saw it, they turned away and ran to the other carriages, they didn't want to be with Snape.

"Ode, come in."

Snape's voice came out of the car, and Fred and George immediately jumped out of the way, far away from Brie and said, "Oh God, I think today's astrology tells me that I have to share a carriage with the new teacher."

After saying that, the two ran away.

And Cedric, who was talking to his roommate in the distance, and wanted to come over to make a carriage with Brie, also paused, obviously he was not suitable to join in now.

Draco grimaced and followed behind Brie.

Brie said, "Get out of with Goyle and Brak, Draco."

"Don't be stupid, when they both sit together, the carriage will cry, and every time their carriage will always be the last to arrive."

"Haha, okay, just don't talk for a while, and the dean won't have anything to embarrass me."

Draco and Brie stepped into the carriage, and Snape just glanced at Draco and then at Brie.

"Sit down, let's talk about the Dementors......
