In any case, Fahai believes that this is the essence of Mahayana Buddhism to purify all sentient beings, and it is also the code of conduct for Buddhist monks to walk in the world.

Fahai doesn't just slay demons and eliminate demons, otherwise he would not be able to be called a monk.

The current situation may be a pre-arranged test, but if you sit idly by and cross the river in such a grand way, it is self-destructive practice. With his temperament, he would never be able to do such a thing.

Fahai put on a brocade robe, handed over the flying dragon staff to the little white dragon to take charge, and held the nine-ring tin staff in one hand and the water avoidance trick in the other, and walked into the quicksand river step by step.

The brocade robe is a good baby, it has the effect of water and fire, if it is not too public, Fahai wants to wear it all the time.

Soon, the three masters and apprentices went down to the bottom of the water.

As the little white dragon said, it was like an underwater hell, full of wreckage, and unjust souls everywhere.

It's just that there is one thing that Fahai can't figure out a little, and the situation in front of him... Is it really the Bodhisattva's stay?

If it is said that the Bodhisattva has exceeded the soul of this rolling celestial general, leaving a physical body here; It can also be said that it is reasonable to leave the grievances of the people of the ninth generation to deal with it by yourself... But looking at the countless unjust souls in front of him, Fahai put a question mark in his heart.

Fahai didn't set out to overtake these unjust souls for the time being, he first looked at the body of the sin god who was guarded by nine headless skeletons in the middle, and it was also an extremely vicious image, much more than the pig at that time.

a head of fiery red hair, fluffy like flames; The two eyes were open angrily, and although they were godless, they were still terrifying.

The face that is not black or blue and indigo, just a few fangs, and there are nine skulls hanging around his neck, which is the body of the ninth generation of Tang Sanzang, and there is also a treasure rod inserted beside him, which is quite hideous.

"If it's just these ordinary spirits, it's not a big deal. What is a little tricky is the resentment left over from the previous nine generations of scripture learners, which has almost condensed into substance, and it is not possible to completely resolve it overnight. Fahai's rare face was embarrassed, "At first glance, it is possible to say less than one or two years, and it is possible to grow for more than ten years, and there is no certainty." ”

Wouldn't it be easier to resolve your own grievances?

Fahai said to solve their doubts: "The more tenacious the mind, the more difficult it is to resolve the resentment. What's more, these nine grievances are colluded with the body of the Rolling Shutter Heavenly General, and I am afraid that I will not let the teacher go over. ”

After listening to Master's words, the two of them suddenly had a little realization, how tenacious is Master's mind? These nine people who have learned the scriptures are from the Master's previous life, and their minds will not be too far apart. It is not so surprising that the grievances of the god of the quicksand river were all killed.

Although Bajie and Xiaobailong are compared with "Fahai", Fahai himself knows that Master Sanzang's belief in going to the West Heaven to learn scriptures is even firmer.

Especially if he is still a mortal body, it is even more commendable, and the people who have learned the scriptures in the first nine generations are all ordinary.

"Is there no other way?" Bajie scratched his head and said, "Master, why don't we go and invite Guanyin Bodhisattva.... I didn't say it when I was an old pig. ”

Fahai has always been a person who does not ask for anything, in fact, he has the spirit of not admitting defeat, and in the current situation, he is not without a place to start, how can he easily ask for help?

"Amitabha." Fahai recited the Buddha's name, and then sent a task to the two disciples: "If you deal with the body of this sin god first, you will definitely have no time to take care of these evil spirits, and if you let them scatter in the world, it will be a great disaster. For the teacher, he wants to first overtake these resentful spirits, and return the quicksand river to a clean water. But this walking corpse wrapped in resentment may not be at peace, and will definitely take the opportunity to sneak attack and disrupt the practice of being a teacher..."

Start simple, take your time step by step, and being in a hurry will not solve the problem, and it will often even backfire.

Fahai thought for a while and said, "For today's plan, only the two of you will stop this walking corpse when you are a teacher and overtake the resentment, and you will never let him get close to me." ”

The little white dragon immediately patted his chest: "Master rest assured, there is Ao Lie here, and he will definitely be stopped ten steps away from Master!" ”

Bajie hurriedly followed, "The same goes for the old pig." ”

At this moment, the Buddha looked at Guanyin Bodhisattva like a breeze, and felt that she did not seem to feel the pressure brought by the westward journey.

"Have you ever been to the Quicksand River since then?"

"Since returning the soul of the Rolling Shutter Heavenly General to the Jade Emperor, he has met the Great Sun Rulai on the way down from the Heavenly Court, and then returned to Lingshan, and he has never even gone out of this Daxiong Treasure Palace." The Bodhisattva shook his head, but he knew that the Buddha was not a person without a purpose, and he must have another reason for saying this, so he asked again: "Calculate the time, Tang Seng and his apprentices should now go to the quicksand river, the poor monk overtook the soul of the curtain general before, leaving only his body and the corpses and grievances of the previous nine generations of scriptures.... Could it be that something happened to the quicksand river? ”

The Bodhisattva was still quite perceptive, and it only took a few words to realize that there was something wrong with the quicksand river.

"There are rumors in Jizo that not long ago, Yin Si secretly released a group of unjust souls and suppressed them in the quicksand river."

"Amitabha." The Bodhisattva recited the Buddha's name, and with a compassionate look on her face, she said, "This is karma, and it arises because of me, and the punishment of sin will come to you... The poor monk is willing to go to the quicksand river again to quell this misfortune. ”

"Wait." If you come and open your mouth, you will stop the Bodhisattva.

The Bodhisattva paused, but did not look back, "The Buddha left the poor monk until this time to tell the truth, it should be deliberately not allowed to go." ”

"If he is just Tang Sanzang, the poor monk will not stop you. Now that he has awakened the true spirit of the golden cicada, why do you need to support him step by step? The Buddha smiled and said, "Let's see if he has grown." ”

The Bodhisattva turned around and asked again: "Do you know who those unjust souls who were secretly released in the quicksand river to suppress them?" ”

"A close minister by the Jade Emperor's side."

"This person has a bad heart, and his methods are ruthless and vicious, and he is really not virtuous." The Bodhisattva shook his head slightly and said, "This time he acted like this, one can block the westward journey of Sanzang; The second is to damage my reputation, which seems to have taken the lead, but in fact it is all a way to disaster... If he does not know how to restrain himself, he fears woe. ”
