Chapter 446: The Sentient Beings of the Three Realms are the True Scriptures; Depreciation of human suffering

And they also know very well in their hearts that even though they already think that they are overestimating Sanzang, in fact, they are afraid that it is the opposite.
But how deep will Sanzang's mana be?
Could it be comparable to the Buddha and the Bodhisattva?
Ordinary monks naturally feel that this idea is too bold, but for the Buddha and Bodhisattva himself, they do not think that this is impossible.
Even if Sanzang's mana is a little worse than them, it is definitely not much, and it can be said that he is a character on the same level.
And among their masters and apprentices, in addition to Sanzang, there are two other people who have such a mana realm.
One of them is the Monkey King, who should have become the protector of Buddhism; The second is the "enlightenment" that is completely out of the previous Buddhism's plan for the Journey to the West.
As for Bajie and Little White Dragon, although they are slightly inferior, the two of them are enough to rank in the forefront among the monks of Lingshan. Maybe it doesn't deserve a great job, but it is more than enough to seal a Bodhisattva.
"Sanzang."
The Buddha looked in the direction of Sanzang.
"The disciple is here." Fahai clasped his hands together, and his expression was still respectful.
"I know that you have accumulated many doubts in your heart along the way, and I also know that you have hidden these doubts in your heart, and you want to ask me for advice in this Lingshan Daxiong Treasure Palace." The Buddha didn't seem to be afraid of Sanzang's reproach, so he took the initiative to ask Sanzang to speak, "I'm here, but I don't know if I can still use me to solve your doubts?" ”
Fahai thought for a moment, but slowly shook his head.
"Oh?" The Buddha, who had already prepared and had dealt with it in advance, rarely showed a puzzled look, "Why is this?" ”
"What you hear is not as good as what you see, and what you see is not as good as what you experience." Fahai did not shy away from it, "Besides, the Buddha is the Buddha, and the little monk, who is an ordinary monk, always thinks differently and some very different answers, even if they sound, they are just asking for trouble." Besides, many doubts have been answered by the disciples on this westward journey. And those who have not yet found the answer, the little monk will save it first, if the little monk can never solve the puzzle. When I come to ask the Buddha for advice again, I also ask the Buddha to forgive me. ”
The Buddha listened to Sanzang's words, looked at Sanzang for a moment, and then slowly nodded and said, "Good! ”
If the Buddha knew that Sanzang had some doubts in his heart, the Bodhisattva naturally knew it. Moreover, Sanzang also said in Lingshan before that he wanted to ask the Buddha some questions.
Although I don't know what caused Sanzang to make the change, the Bodhisattva didn't find it strange.
After all, some simple questions are naturally not difficult to answer with the understanding of Sanzang; And those questions that will be difficult for Sanzang will probably be a little tricky for the Buddha himself.
And such a question is obviously not suitable to ask the Buddha for advice in a large court.
Sanzang just seems to be reckless, but in fact, it is splendid.
"You don't ask me, but I want to ask you."
It's just that I didn't expect the Sanzang to die down, but the Buddha "made another storm".
"Please." Fahai is not afraid of this.
"Do you know what the scriptures are?"
Fahai raised his eyebrows, looked at the Buddha, and said in his heart: This question was originally asked by the little monk to the Buddha.
But Fahai really didn't panic, and folded his hands and said: "The beings of the Three Realms are the true scriptures." ”
Regarding Sanzang's words, the Buddha did not say anything, but immediately looked at the monks in the hall and asked, "What do you think?" ”
Guanyin Bodhisattva was the first to say: "The Three Tibets are said to be very good, the true scriptures have no appearance, hidden in the Three Realms, and if you can read the sentient beings in the Three Realms, you will naturally be able to comprehend the true scriptures." ”
The Bodhisattva has not said a word: on the contrary, even if he obtains the "true scriptures", it is difficult to comprehend the Dharma in them.
The Buddha looked around at the monks in the hall and said, "The monks who practice the Hinayana teachings will not mention it for the time being, I just ask you and other monks who practice Mahayana Buddhism, have you ever entered the world for a long time and refined the red dust?" ”
Most of the monks present lowered their heads and refused to raise them.
Especially the monks in the Pure Lands, they are not allowed to enter the world.
And among the monks present, there are really not many who specialize in Hinayana teachings. After all, among the fruit positions of the Hinayana teachings, the highest is the Arhat fruit, although there is also the fruit position of the Buddha, but it is actually at the same level as the Arhat.
For example, the previous Mahakala Buddha Venerable, he practiced the Hinayana teachings and attained the status of an arhat, and then when he practiced the Mahayana teachings, even if he could become a Buddha, he did not want to become a Buddha.
One of the very important reasons why the Mahayana teachings can replace the Hinayana teachings and take charge of Lingshan is actually that it gives the Hinayana disciples the opportunity to become Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
Arhats are arhats after all, even if they are gods and Buddhas, who wouldn't want to go further?
Just like today's Heavenly Court, under the reform of Erlang Zhenjun, in addition to the "Xiu Mu System" of reincarnation in the Nether, there is also a new set of "Promotion System" in the making.
The True Monarch Temple has invited all the righteous gods from all departments, and they have discussed this matter many times, and there have been many rumors in private, and for a while, the office efficiency of the Heavenly Court has skyrocketed.
It is not impossible to blindly rely on the punishment of the heavenly rules to restrain the gods of the heavenly court, but the results are also obvious. As long as you do your part well and don't make mistakes, you'll be fine.
This greatly reduced the subjective initiative of the immortals, and Erlang God Yang Jian was still a little concerned about this
Many of the immortals who served in the Judicial Temple also complained to Erlang God, saying that their workload here was too much, if it weren't for following Zhenjun, plus Zhenjun had always treated his subordinates well, they would have to apply for transfer if they said anything.
Erlang God didn't say anything yet, and the eighth sister who was "interning" here first fought for her colleagues in the True Monarch Temple, "Cousin Erlang, you have to think of ideas, you can't just let our own people be busy all day long. Other immortals are at ease all day long. ”
When Meishan Lao Liu heard this, he said in his heart: What is the big guy doing as a god for? The second master won't mention it first, after all, he is here to benefit the beings of the Three Realms, and I will sacrifice my life to accompany these brothers as brothers.
Can other immortals have such a high level of consciousness?
In fact, the Jade Emperor had already had the intention of rectifying the atmosphere of the heavenly court, and even mentioned this matter to Erlang God earlier, but there was never an opportunity to make a move, and Yang Jian did have a lot of things on hand, so he left this matter behind him when he came and went.
After the words of the eighth sister this time, Yang Jian was allowed to pick it up.
It was also because of the reincarnation of the lower realm that the gods and immortals had joined the ranks of "involution" before, which gave Yang Jian a new inspiration. It is to write the "promotion" of the immortals into the rules of heaven, so that those immortals who are not willing to be in the current priesthood and want to go to the next level will naturally become proactive.
Moreover, the rewards and punishments are clear, and it is not a clever trick, and whether it can be effective or not depends on whether the people in power can be trustworthy and relatively fair.
But the god position of the heavenly court is fixed, unless it is a special god position of the Jade Emperor such as "Monkey King" and "Erlang Zhenjun", it is basically a radish and a pit, and if someone wants to go up, someone will naturally come down.
In comparison, there are not so many restrictions on the promotion of "fruit position" under the Mahayana teachings.
In addition to relying on one's own comprehension of the Dharma and self-attainment, several Buddhas and the leaders of various sects are also eligible to be elevated to the "fruit position", but the fruit position added by the Buddha and the sect leaders will be affected by them to a certain extent.
At this moment, those who can hold their heads high in the Daxiong Treasure Hall are those familiar Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who have left their names in the world in the past. And those who lowered their heads, even if Fahai saw them, they might not be able to recognize their identities.
"Where is the Discipline Academy?"

Vedic Bodhisattva and the Venerable Dharma Precept led the monks of the Precept Institute out of the class.
"Can the files previously checked be available?"
"Yes." Veda Bodhisattva took out a sealed dossier from the cuff of the monk's robe, held it in front of his chest with both hands, and was about to present it to the Buddha.
"Those who have been called to the law can refute it." After the Buddha said this, he said to Veda Bodhisattva, "Just say it." ”
Veda Bodhisattva sorted out his state of mind a little, and when he learned that the Buddha had asked him to bring this volume with him today, he expected it. The big one is coming!
When Veda Bodhisattva saw the Sanzang master and apprentice seated, he thought that today's biggest crisis had passed, but he never expected that the Buddha still did not plan to be a monk.
Or maybe he didn't intend to let himself go.
After all, the Buddha is the lord of the spiritual mountain, and he is in charge of the Buddha's door, but the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas have done so many unbearable things in private, and the Buddha is naturally to blame, and there is no shortage of a dereliction of duty who knows people and does not know people.
The Buddha looked at the monks below with their heads bowed, and said in his heart: You must be corrected, you can't escape, and poor monks are no exception.
He can't just run to reincarnation for no reason, and he still has to start from the beginning.
The words "catastrophe is coming" alone are obviously not enough to convince the public, and even attract doubts
Since the catastrophe is coming, it seems unreasonable for the Buddha not to lead sentient beings to resist the catastrophe in Lingshan, but to run away and go to reincarnation.
Vedic Bodhisattva was not afraid of offending people, so he immediately lifted the seal on the dossier, opened his mouth and named an arhat, and then explained the precepts he had committed one by one.
The arhat was pale, and after he came out of the ranks, he did not argue, and immediately confessed his guilt.
What Veda Bodhisattva found out was the truth, and he had already heard that the precept institute would punish many monks who violated the precepts, and sooner or later this catastrophe would fall on his head.
Even though he had already anticipated it when the Buddha spoke, even if he was secretly mentally prepared, he couldn't tell a lie.
It is also that the precepts he committed are not too big, and the sin is not unto death, so he has been kept until now.
In fact, such monks who violate the precepts account for a large proportion of Buddhism, and they do great evils, but the small precepts are often broken in private.
In particular, the most broken vows are on "drinking". There are even some bodhisattvas who specialize in raising people from a Buddha country, that is, they brew fine wine in the Buddha country full-time to satisfy their appetites.
Depending on the severity of the circumstances, some were punished to face the wall, some were removed from the "job of righteousness", and some were directly sent to reincarnation.
Now that the Dharma number is above the dossier, and those who can still participate in this grand event in Lingshan are actually two extremes.
First, the vows they have broken are indeed not big. There is no need to even mention them in this public; Second, it is some high-status Buddhas, when Veda Bodhisattva investigated, although he found evidence, but did not act rashly, until now if the Buddha speaks, he naturally found out what he found, in front of the monks, 1510 clearly said.
One after the other.
When the first Bodhisattva was named out of the ranks, the scene was faintly chaotic, but when Veda Bodhisattva put the evidence of his "infant abuse" in front of the monks, no one pleaded for him.
And he was also exempted from the "Bodhisattva" position by the Buddha himself, and received his mana, and since then he has been beaten down by Lingshan and degraded to suffer in the world.
Seeing this, the Great Sage couldn't help but sneer.
Seeing this, Bajie asked curiously, "Senior brother, why do you look like this?" ”
As he spoke, Bajie learned the face of the great sage and made a look that he thought was exactly the same.
Wujing glanced at it, and said in his heart that although there was still some difference between the expressions of the two senior brothers, the irony in them was the same.
"Degrade human suffering."
The great sage repeated these words in the mouth of the Buddha, but he did not lower his voice, it seemed that he was explaining to the eight precepts, but in fact he wanted to say his mind in public, "Listen to what is said. What kind of place did the gods and Buddhas regard the world as? Why do you always punish them to suffer in the world? How bitter the world is for them, it can be regarded as a place of exile. ”
The Great Sage's words were spoken.
Even the Buddha and the Bodhisattva were trembling in their hearts.
And Fahai on the side said to Wukong: "The world is the sea of suffering, and the so-called cultivation is to get rid of the sea of suffering."
Fahai's words are also not polite, "Those who have achieved positive results have passed the sea of suffering, how can they be willing to sink into the sea of suffering again after going ashore?" ”
Like bodhisattvas, those who have attained the Fa-rectification and have to give up are of course a minority, otherwise wouldn't there be bodhisattvas everywhere in the world?
There's nothing wrong with being alone.
The Hinayana sects, who were originally based on the principle of self-determination, were not in this reckoning, and they escaped by mistake.
But as the name of the first "Buddha" came out of the mouth of Veda Bodhisattva, the scene, which was not peaceful, became more and more noisy, and everyone was in danger.
Da Ri Rulai didn't expect that the development of things would be in such a direction, and he was a little stunned for a while. Because this Buddha is a person who also cultivates tantric Buddhism, he also wanted to recruit the other party into the tantric teachings.
But the evil deeds committed by the other party made Da Ri Rulai want to burn him to death.
