If you say three or five years, the Buddha doesn't even blink an eye. But this eight-precept lion opened his mouth widely, and when he opened his mouth, it was three or five hundred years of fasting, and I am afraid it was also a big burden for Lingshan.

The main reason is that the belly of these eight precepts is like a bottomless pit, and when it is almost not filled, its appetite is not much better than that of the ancient fierce beasts.

Not only the Buddha, but also all the monks in the hall are all successful cultivators, otherwise they would almost laugh out loud. But even so, a few couldn't help but lower their heads, and their shoulders trembled twice from time to time.

In the past, he always laughed at the great sage of Bajie "knowing how to eat", but now he didn't speak, and when he saw that the Buddha didn't answer, he wanted to mock the Buddha for two sentences of "stinginess".

But just as he was about to speak, he caught a glimpse of the master on the side, and he still held back his words. There are a lot of troubles caused today, but there is no need to do this.

Then the Buddha asked Wujing and Xiaobailong if they would accept the great position of Lingshan's promotion, and the answer they received was not unexpected, neither the master nor the senior brother agreed, and the two of them naturally did not accept it.

Moreover, they did not worship the Buddha for the sake of this great work.

In fact, several of their masters and apprentices had discussed this matter in private, and Fahai even persuaded these disciples that they did not have to follow their example, and it was not impossible for them to be promoted by the Spirit Mountain.

After all, whether a cultivator has a "compilation" or not, his status is still very different in the Three Realms.

Of course, for the current Fahai, whether or not this great position is a positive result will not have much impact on his status in the Three Realms, because he is going to set up his own door.

Sanzang did not become a Buddha, and he was not even willing to stay in Lingshan, and now he wanted to establish a Wisdom Sect. Doesn't it mean that they don't have to deal with this monk much in the future?

Isn't that a great thing?

After all, for the monks of Lingshan, when facing Sanzang, they are still quite stressful and very uncomfortable.

Some of the Buddhists are even ready that if the Buddha doesn't agree for a while, they will stand up and persuade them to make a good relationship with Venerable Sanzang.

Sanzang has long had the appearance of everyone, and when he was able to discuss the Dharma, although what he said about "the only knowledge of ten thousand laws" was to absorb the essence of Yoga Buddhism, but with the level of the monks of Lingshan, he could naturally hear that the other party's Dharma had become a school of its own.

Now that I put it up in front of the Buddha, I'm afraid it's not a request for instructions at all, to put it bluntly, it's more like I'm here to inform Lingshan.

Because everyone also knows very well that no matter whether Lingshan agrees or not, Master Sanzang is bound to establish this Enlightenment Sect.

Since it is something that everyone knows, the Buddha will naturally not make things difficult anymore, but he sighed: "Actually, I originally wanted to pass on the position of the Lord of Lingshan to you." ”

The monks held their breath and went to see the expression of Master Sanzang, although there were rumors in private, but the Buddha seemed to be the first time to express his intentions in public.

And everyone saw that Master Sanzang was still pampered and not shocked, and his hands were folded: "Amitabha, the little monk thanks the Buddha for his love, but the little monk is shallow, how can he convince the public?" ”

"This trip to Deling Mountain, but also to obtain the true scriptures to send to the Tang Dynasty, since you can't be anticlimactic." Fahai made a Buddha salute to the Buddha and said, "The poor monk wants to set up the Wisdom Sect Dojo in the Tang Dynasty Chang'an Ci'en Temple and personally spread the Dharma in the eastern soil. ”

The reason why Fahai wanted to preach the scriptures in person was actually because he was afraid that these scriptures would be misinterpreted without his explanation.

Even if he had already left a commentary on the scriptures, those with ill intentions should not be aware.

Guanyin Bodhisattva admired Sanzang's ambition more and more, but still asked: "Sanzang, it is not easy for you to establish a Buddhist sect alone." ”

Fahai waved his robe, stretched out his hand to direct everyone's attention to Wukong and others, and said: "The poor monk has disciples here, and he can protect the Dharma and preach." ”

Guanyin Bodhisattva smiled when he heard this, "Even so, the poor monks want to test their Dharma. ”

The Peacock Daming King and Mu Zha beside Da Ri Rulai felt more and more strange, after all, the two of them had given a warning before, and it should not be untargeted, so they secretly left a little vigilance in their hearts.

The vast majority of monks present would think that the biggest thing had come to an end when the Great Sun Nyorai cast the "Great Day Buddha Flame" to surpass the eight Buddhas.

At this moment, seeing that the Bodhisattva was going to test the Buddha's teeth of several disciples of Master Sanzang, he naturally had a lively mentality.

The Dharma realm of these disciples, the monks don't know the depth, but their magic power is beyond doubt, even the mana of the eight precepts can be ranked in the forefront among the bodhisattvas in the hall. Even compared to some ordinary Buddhas, it is not far behind.

Like the great sage and the sand Wujing who had never been visible before, the monks boldly guessed, I am afraid that their mana has already exceeded the ordinary Buddhas, and they have chased after the Buddhas and several great bodhisattvas who have come to drive Cihang.

It can be seen that since they worshiped under the Sanzang Sect, they have never slackened off in their cultivation.

But relatively speaking, since they have such attainments in the cultivation of mana, then in the realm of Buddhism, they naturally do not have so much time to comprehend, and besides, they are all halfway monks, even if the obsession of the people who have learned the scriptures of the ninth generation of enlightenment is transformed. But it was only after being purified by Sanzang and worshipping him as a teacher that he began to practice Buddhism.

Is it going to be exposed this time?

The Bodhisattva looked at the little white dragon first, she knew that the little white dragon was the most shallow one among them in terms of Dharma perception, after all, his energy was really all used in the gun path, otherwise it would not be possible to enter the realm at such a fast speed.

The little white dragon was not timid, and when he saw that the Bodhisattva's eyes were on him, he immediately went out of the queue first, bowed to the Bodhisattva, and said: "The disciple's qualifications are ordinary, although he has also recited a lot of Buddhist scriptures under the master's door, but there is no one to refine, and please don't embarrass the disciple too much." ”

"The third prince doesn't have to be presumptuous." The Bodhisattva smiled and said, "Since you are under the Sanzang Sect, you have a wide range of knowledge of Buddhist scriptures, and I Buddhist monks study the scriptures, so I don't know which scriptures you have read overnight?" ”

Xiao Bailong bowed his head and said: "The disciple is not talented, but he has only studied the four parts of the Hinayana Buddhist scriptures: "Long Aman Sutra", "Middle Aman Sutra", "Increasing One Aman Sutra" and "Miscellaneous Aman Sutra"; As for the Mahayana Buddhist scriptures, I have read the "Great Prajna Sutra", "Lengyan Sutra", "Huayan Sutra", "Great Nirvana Sutra", etc., and the 35 Mahayana texts that Master obtained from Lingshan have not yet studied carefully, which is the 'Wisdom Dharma' created by Master. ”

Now I can only pray that the little white dragon has indeed simply recited, and has not really grasped the meaning. But is this possible?

The master is Tang Sanzang!

Just looking at Sanzang's rigorous attitude towards Buddhism, we know that it is impossible for my disciples to swallow dates without seeking a deep understanding. Xiao Bailong dared to say the names of these scriptures at this moment, that is, he was not afraid of the Bodhisattva's questions.

Guanyin Bodhisattva also has a high opinion on Hinayana Buddhism, so he summarized several core questions from the four Hinayana scriptures.

The little white dragon dealt with them one by one, and they were all correct.

After hearing this, the Bodhisattva nodded secretly, Xiao Bailong's answer may not be a "standard answer", but it is definitely his own understanding of the Dharma, and he has not taken a crooked path.

I am afraid that this is also the result of the teachings of the Three Tibetan Sayings and Deeds, and it is not just a superficial understanding.

Guanyin Bodhisattva didn't plan to continue to take the Mahayana sutra to Xiao Bailong, but just asked one more question: "Where do you think the importance of Hinayana lies?" ”

Xiao Bailong thought for a while, and then said: "If there is any mistake or omission in the words of the disciple's family, please also ask the Bodhisattva to correct the disciple's opinion, one of which lies in the four noble truths, the suffering of the four noble truths, and the core is to see and grasp; Second, the impermanence of all actions is not just about impermanence; The Dharma is impossible, and it does not only speak of selflessness; Nirvana is silent, first understand the true meaning of Nirvana. The three seals stand side by side, and none of them is indispensable. ”

"Great goodness!"

The Bodhisattva looked at the little white dragon with admiration and said, "If you specialize in Hinayana skills, you will have attained the attainment of arhat." ”

The little white dragon clasped his hands together and saluted the Bodhisattva, very modest: "The disciple is still far away." ”

With the opening of the little white dragon, the monks will know. It's impossible to see people lively.

Although the Bodhisattva did not take the Mahayana Buddhism of the little white dragon, the monks knew it very well. With Xiao Bailong's perception and understanding of Hinayana Buddhism just now, it is enough to gain a foothold in Lingshan.

In fact, Lingshan does not prohibit monks from practicing Hinayana Buddhism, but the vast majority of monks who practice Hinayana naturally go to practice Mahayana Buddhism after the Buddha takes charge of Lingshan.

After all, to cultivate Hinayana is to cross oneself first, and the Lord of the Spiritual Mountain is to practice Mahayana Buddhism, if they do not respond positively. How else do you cross yourself?

After the little white dragon, it was naturally Wujing's turn.

If the little white dragon made them let go of their contempt, and Wujing really opened their eyes

"Why didn't the Bodhisattva ask."

"Which scripture are you good at?" The Bodhisattva knew that Wujing was extraordinary, but he still asked as usual.

Wujing thought for a moment and said; "It's all okay."

"Be specific."

Then Wujing said a passage, comparing the Mahayana Hinayana and Tantric Vinayas, which everyone has heard of and have not heard. Even in the end, there are a lot of Taoist classics, Confucian classics and even Legalist classics.

The monks were amazed, and what shocked them even more was that Wujing really didn't lie. The Bodhisattva and him can no longer be regarded as an examination school, but more like two eminent monks arguing about the Dharma.

Guanyin Bodhisattva can definitely be regarded as a great bodhisattva with profound Dharma, and even so, it seems that there are not as many scriptures as this Shawujing practice.

It is really worthy of the obsession of the ninth generation of scripture learners, and this obsession with the scriptures alone is not comparable to them.

It is only a bodhisattva, Wujing doesn't seem to be enjoyable, after all, when the master debated the scriptures with the Buddhas before, he was already eager to try, and then he finally had an opportunity to learn Buddhism outside the hall, but the medicine master and the seven Buddhas did not talk about martial arts, so he had to make a move

Now taking advantage of the beginning of the Bodhisattva, Wujing naturally has to have a good time.

But everyone eats a trench and grows wise, and when they see that the Dharma realm of this Sha Wujing is really different from the depth of ordinary people, they don't accept it at all. After all, it is reasonable to lose in the hands of Master Sanzang.

But if it is defeated at the hands of Sha Wujing. In the future, they will not have to walk in the Three Realms.

That is, Wujing did not speculate on their thoughts, otherwise he would have to say: Have you traveled in the Three Realms in the past?

All in all, Wujing was still happy this time, and he didn't force it anymore. What's more, with the level of these monks, I'm afraid that they won't be able to argue with themselves for a few rounds, but they will be appetizing.

Wujing is comfortable.

But Bajie is going to be uncomfortable, if you talk about the scene that Xiaobailong opened just now, Bajie can barely catch it.

But now Wujing will be raised so much at once, but it also makes Bajie mutter in his heart, thinking in his heart: What should I do with my old pig for a while?

But he has always been lenient, and only a little worried, he put the matter behind him. He is not afraid of showing his shortcomings, anyway, the level is at this level, and there is nothing to dare to see.

It's just that when the Bodhisattva asked him what scriptures he was good at, the eight precepts suddenly blessed his soul and said, "The Treasure Like the Buddha Sutra." ”

The monks were stunned for a moment when they heard this, and they all thought in their hearts: Do I still have this Buddhist scripture in Buddhism?

Why haven't you heard of it before?

And the Bodhisattva, who knew the details, couldn't help but laugh and scolded: "Eight precepts, don't want to be Hu. Well? ”

But in the middle of the Bodhisattva's words, he suddenly stopped, turned to the Buddha and said, "Buddha, the enlightenment of that treasure elephant country seems to really have the appearance of a book. ”

The face of the Buddha did not change, and he said to the eight precepts: "Since this is the case, then recite the Buddhist scriptures." ”

Although it is not a real Buddhist scripture, the master will carefully interpret it, and some of the dross and inappropriateness in the scriptures have been deleted, and the final revised version has been kept in the Baoxiang Buddhist Temple.

Although Bajie is lazy, but his understanding and memory are not bad, this is not a Buddhist scripture, because it is too special, it has always been remembered in the heart of Bajie, but it is not expected to be used here.

Since the Buddha asked him to recite it, the eight precepts naturally obeyed, and immediately meditated on the ground, saying in his heart: It should be regarded as a hot field for Brother Monkey.

Then he began to chant the scriptures.
