Summary at the end of the volume
Briefly talk about a little impression of this volume.
The first is to end this issue here. It's a bit rushed, but it's really within the outline.
The original plan was to spend two or three chapters writing about the final battle. But I thought about it for a while and finally gave up.
This is one of the lessons I've learned over the years of writing books.
I myself like to read historical texts, and I like my second brother's book the most. Over the years, I have come to a conclusion by looking at other people's experiences and my own.
Try not to depict such large-scale war scenes in a positive light.
First of all, it's hard to write, the grander the scene, the more difficult it is to write, that's for sure.
Secondly, the tone of this battlefield in ancient times was bloody and cruel. The protagonist has not yet been able to open the level of incomparable in the army. So it's hard to grasp the cool point.
I had a hard lesson in my last book.
In the first volume, the protagonist group went all the way back to Chang'an from the desert. There are no scenarios of large-scale engagements.
It's all a small-scale fight of the protagonist group, which brings the protagonist's personal ability to the extreme.
And that volume is also a good reputation, with an average order of about 13,000. That's right, it's 13,000!!
But later, when the protagonist got the court and began to lay out the world, there was a significant decline in popularity.
I thought it was because I didn't have an outline. Because the volume wasn't intended to be that long at the beginning. So I ended that volume and opened a new one.
And I'm still not convinced after opening a new volume, and directly gave the protagonist a high starting point, starting from the general trend. As a result, popularity plummeted again. The average order was more than 10,000, and it fell to more than 4,000. Cliff-like plunge!!
I've been thinking about this question ever since, and I've come to a conclusion.
Before my pen power reached the level of freewheeling. I'm still going to write about people.
To put it simply, it should be written around the main character. With the protagonist as the core, the plot is driven by the evolution of the protagonist's experience.
This story is a story about people after all. It is natural to focus on people. So I started trying to create a protagonist with more pen and ink.
I don't want more, just a protagonist. I don't know if you have noticed that in the first half of the first volume, in addition to the characters in the movie, only one character has a name, Lao Diao. And Lao Diao can only be regarded as a title.
Even the heroine, that is, the girl, has no name. In the later stage, Li Guangyin and Li Guangwu were made for the finish.
I know that my pen power is limited, so this time I have to use my limited pen power more on the protagonist.
A couple of the main characters I've created before this. They are all intellectual, strong-willed, and even inclined to be indifferent and ruthless.
For example, Lin Xuan, Shen Yi, Gu Cheng, Su Yuan. It was only slightly better when I arrived at Lu Xuan. But there are not many portrayals of characters. This led me to read a lot of books. But it's hard to impress. This is also a common problem with infinite streams.
This time, I'm trying to create a more flesh-and-blood character, and I hope everyone will remember this character and remember the book.
Finally, the next volume is written embroidered spring knife. That's right, it's the copy of my last book that plummeted. I rarely write about repetitive worlds, except for Game of Thrones. But this time it was an exception.
Because I'm still not convinced, I'll write this copy again.
