Testimonials

It's time of year again!

Thank you all for accompanying me all the way, watching the book "Walking Alone in the Abyss", from a seedling to a long story of 2.6 million words!

Thank you for your support, new and old readers!

The quality of the book is for the reader to judge.

In my place, I personally feel that in terms of the completion of the current work, it is "Senior Brother", "Abyss", "Human Immortal", and "First Sword" in order...... I didn't care much about it before I opened the book, I thought that thousands of books would be sent, but I didn't expect to be able to gain so many readers in the end, which is already an unexpected joy.

To be honest, I felt a sense of relief after writing the core of the book, the chapter 'I Hate Humans,' that what I had been thinking about, that I had always wanted to express, had finally written.

That's the story I'm going to write.

Then I slept for more than ten hours, I really couldn't open my eyes, and when I woke up, I saw a few more strands of gray hair.

Later, I actually want Yang Wei to visit the galaxy and write 20,000 more words to earn manuscript fees, but after careful calculation, it is far worse to write like now, so it is enough to complete the ascension and say goodbye to everyone, there is no need to be overly sensational.

After all, this is only the first installment in the series.

This testimonial is a little longer, and I will briefly tell you the story behind the book from three aspects.

……

First, the plot.

The plot advanced to Yang Wei's ascension, and there was no way to write it.

The high-dimensional world is not unimaginable, but as long as it is written, it is a false proposition, which fundamentally negates the idea of this book, and the story of Yang Wei as the protagonist must come to an end here, and in the follow-up works of the series, it is likely to appear as a background board.

I planned three pure science fiction novels, and "Walking Alone in the Abyss" was the first one, and it was also the 'first time' for me to learn and try, and for this, I also left some small regrets caused by the lack of experience.

However, I'm already very satisfied with the overall presentation!

The second part is the earth's participation in "Faya's Game" (not the title of the book), which will be written after I finish writing the next Xianxia, and I will explain the specific reasons to you in detail later.

In what I understand as science fiction, there must be a clear topic to discuss, such as "Walking Alone in the Abyss", and I focus on the existence of the form of reason and law (ultimate AI), which is a limited fantasy of human civilization in the galaxy.

In the second part, it focuses on the positive role of the survival of the earth's civilization and individual efforts on the collective.

Not only are the protagonists different, but the core kernels are also different, so they must be written separately.

I have been seeing many readers complaining about this book, saying why the starting point doesn't give this book traffic.

This doesn't have much to do with the starting point, and no one is targeting me or anything.

"Walking Alone in the Abyss" is a niche book, the starting point does not even have the same type of book, and the market acceptance is limited, the readership group is not so large, the same recommendation data is not good, and it was suddenly released when I opened the book, and it is actually very reasonable that there is no traffic.

It's also that I'm thin-skinned, not very social, and I didn't talk to my mother about related issues.

When I write the second part, I will try to find some mothers to fight for resources!

The surprise opening of the book has also caused some trouble to the editorial team of the starting point, and I sincerely apologize to the editorial team here, it has indeed caused you trouble!

Making your book visible to more readers is the strongest motivation for authors to write.

If you think this book is well written, I recommend it to friends who like science fiction concept works!

From the point of view of data, this book should not be able to get the resources given by the mother, and it can only depend on the readers, and only when the book is finished and the completion is enough, I dare to ask everyone to help promote it.

……

Second, the difficulty of writing.

I learned a lot from this attempt.

Is the book Abyss hard to write?

It's hard for me to write at this stage, and it's often written.

There was no upgrade system, and I started to write in some ways that were not pleasing in online articles in about 100 chapters, which made me feel a lot of writing resistance, but I had to move forward.

This made me wonder if I was a bit stupid to write a space opera in an online article.

But it turns out that space opera pure science fiction can also gain a certain readership.

The starting point niche is not dead.

I believe that with the continuous progress of China's science and technology and the continuous improvement of national strength, science fiction works written with the concept of science fiction will inevitably develop better and better in the online literature market and even the entire Chinese literary industry.

*Note: This type of web article is still in the ice expansion period.

……

Third, the original intention of creation.

I'd like to say a few more about that.

When "Lonely in the Abyss" was first launched, only my editor knew that I was working on this book.

The reasons are complex.

A lot of things happened when I wrote the last "Heavenly Court", and I didn't want to write my own good costume male protagonist text, which led to the fact that the protagonist of Heavenly Court was too weak, and I was not very good at arranging urban plots, and the follow-up inspiration and the character I created had a fierce conflict, resulting in more and more uncomfortable writing.

There were a lot of people who were saying, 'This is so different from your original style.'" ’

The more I thought about it, the more depressed I became, why did I have to be defined by a book by my brother? I simply pushed forward the main line directly to finish the settlement, and I didn't sell the copyright (at that time, I pushed off the copyright that Heavenly Court was already talking about, and lost a lot of votes), let's just do pure science fiction to prove that I don't only write light comedy Xianxia's daily style! Pure sci-fi is big enough different from the light comedy Xianxia I've been making before, right? Ahahahaha......

Yes, that's what it was meant to be.

The main focus is on an angry literature and the character of a young and sick old man.

But I'm really sorry for the readers of Heavenly Court, although I tried my best to write the finale, but I couldn't successfully complete the work of Heavenly Court.

I apologize again for my youthful frivolity.

I must also face up to the failure of the Heavenly Court book and learn from it.

At that time, there was actually another thing that had a big impact on me.

I have always had a literary dream, so I have always been yearning for the traditional cultural circle, the two books of Senior Brother and Renxian not only let me get platinum and get various awards, but also made me stand out among the post-90s authors, and I was fortunate to be appreciated by the leaders and arranged for me to enter the legendary Lu Xun Academy of Literature Advanced Research Class (the advanced research class of Lu Academy is different from the online class of Lu Academy, this weight is very heavy, and you can write the experience of the students in this class in your resume).

Then I was a little disillusioned.

The literary circle I aspire to...... How to say it, my classmates in the same period are indeed of a very high level and have a literati sentiment, but, detached.

detached from the public, it drilled deeper and deeper in the direction of Qu Gao and Widow, Yang Chun and White Snow, and ordinary people don't care.

How can online literature, which is based on the majority of readers, not represent our culture?

Yes, there are indeed many problems in the current online literature as a whole, plagiarism has become a trend, following the trend has become a trend, and the popularity often leads to the bottom line. However, online literature is still good and positive on the whole, there is fertile soil and a large number of new authors, our works are constantly iterating and developing, and the core function of online literature is to provide after-dinner pastime for the largest number of readers.

Isn't this also an important role for literature?

When I was in a senior research class, I was suffering a little bit of discrimination, and I was thinking about how to further make online literature a widely recognized mainstream literary form.

I must say that my brain is pumping, and I am only thirty years old to think about such a big proposition.

But at that time it was really thinking, observing and thinking.

How can we online writers prove that only literature based on readers is a soft power cultural fist that can collide with the thighs of American dramas, Japanese comics, and South Korea.

The only short-term path I can think of is sci-fi.

It can be said that at this stage, it is likely that only the network with realistic themes and science fiction concepts is the most promising to rush up and rush out.

Realistic themes have too few audiences among young people, and everyone just wants to be entertained and release pressure, and realistic themes are often too heavy.

Science fiction literature has a very broad future in online literature.

Science fiction, I mean science fiction concepts, science fiction, and highly readable novels, which are very rare blue oceans in current online literature.

There are only a few classified online articles that can have a certain influence, and similar books are extremely difficult to survive in the 'light, floating, refreshing, and fast' online literature environment at this stage.

So, I wanted to give it a try.

I'm just an author, and what I can do is extremely limited, but I can try, I can use my passion, inspiration, and time to struggle, and try whether this kind of book can survive in the current online literature ecology.

At that time, I told myself that if an author like me who loves science fiction and has already written famous works doesn't try it, then few people will dare to try it.

As it turned out, I was lucky.

I've met so many readers who also enjoy these kinds of stories.

The readership group at the starting point still has the best inclusiveness in the online literature industry.

I initially conceived of hard sci-fi, and found that hard sci-fi has a high threshold and a small genre, and it is unrealistic to try to conquer most readers who are 'here for coolness', and real hard sci-fi will also limit the development of the plot.

Therefore, I put the idea of hard science fiction (if you want to write a big novel, you can't be too hard, and if you want to get a grade, you have to lower the reading threshold, which I haven't found the right balance yet) to the second part, and use the first part of "Walking Alone in the Abyss" to make an introduction to the second part.

In short, I opened "Walking Alone in the Abyss" on impulse, and I finished writing "Walking Alone in the Abyss" in ten months, and I don't regret putting my creative passion during this period in "Walking Alone in the Abyss".

That's enough!

……

Off~in~new~book~

The new book of Xianxia has written the beginning, conceived a complete story and outline, and will be released at the starting point in late August, integrating elements such as Zhiwei and Fengshen, and continuing to carry forward our traditional culture.

Because I opened the book "Walking Alone in the Abyss", I basically didn't have much time to rest this time.

One of the reasons why I decided to return to Xianxia is because I have used most of my sci-fi inspiration temporarily, and the remaining inspiration is not enough to support millions of words of creation, so I need to adjust and wait for the inspiration to recover, and Xianxia inspiration is full of brains.

It's also strange to me that these two inspirations are not next to each other at all.

Another reason is more realistic, I have to use good books to stabilize the so-called 'godhead', ensure my influence and the dissemination of my works, and let the platform invest resources in me with confidence, so that I can have the opportunity to go all out to reclaim the second most critical part of my long-form sci-fi series, which is the next one.

To put it simply, the results of the abyss determine the recommended resources for my new book Xianxia; And the results of Xianxia's new book determine the recommended resources for the second sci-fi novel.

The new book type is the ancient background of cultivating immortals, and the sweetness, knife degree, and coolness are all standard senior brothers.

Because my books are all less than four million words, the goal of the next Xianxia is to work hard to write four million words.

Writing this style of book means returning to my comfort zone, and I will also moderately use monthly pass red envelopes or something to operate it to increase the exposure of my works.

Don't read my Xianxia book by the standard of science fiction.

For example, one on both sides is a drama and the other is a comedy, and the writing style and style are different.

The only thing that is the same is the core idea, which is the core idea that I have been expressing in "Senior Brother", "Abyss", and "Human Immortal", which will not change.

The most obvious difference between the two sides is in the female characters, the female characters of science fiction are more independent, and the female characters of Xianxia are more dependent because they are ancient (there are still many readers who can't tell this difference, and they always spray the abyss Why should the female protagonist leave the male protagonist, which is determined by the type concept and style tone).

If you have readers who like the type of senior brother, you can go to the new book to have a show, and if you don't like it, don't be reluctant, you can look forward to the follow-up "Faya's Game" (the title of the book is undecided).

The results of the next Xianxia book are still very important for the future development of my pen name, and it is the first time I have written a book to make the outline so detailed, and I used to write a few hundred words outline for millions of words.

Here I implore readers to support one or two,Hold a personal field,If you like the next Xianxia story,Then subscribe to support it,Monthly passes and genuine subscriptions are too important for the vitality of a work。

I still have a lot of stories to tell.

I still have a lot of writing plans that I haven't fulfilled.

Looking forward to seeing us meet again on the sci-fi road (about a year and a half apart, my update speed is quite fast in the industry).

At that time, I will definitely present you with better and better science fiction stories!

I hope that the book "Walking Alone in the Abyss" will gain more readers in the future, and let more readers know that there was once a guy named Yang Wei who had a small toss in the corner of the galaxy.

I'm down to business.

A rookie author who likes to experiment and work hard to innovate.

Thank you again for reading this book! That's the biggest recognition for me!

And also!

"Walking Alone in the Abyss" exclusive readership: 836797636, I will be in the water from time to time!
