Chapter Thirty-Eight: Trolls
"You have to take care of it!" Hermione screamed and yelled, "You're the little beaver!" β
"You're so vulnerable, look at you, you'll only crouch in the bathroom and cry when something happens." Catherine wrinkled her delicate nose: "I'm starting to believe what you say, you're not a little beaver." β
Hermione gave her a sobbing look.
"You can't be a skunk, damn it......" Catherine put on a look of sudden realization, and then said in disgust, "You can stay in this kind of smelly environment?" β
Hermione broke the defense.
"Ahββββ!!!h Hermione screamed, "I'm not a skunkββ!!! You nasty woman!! β
"I don't have the time to play such a boring debate trick with you." A flash of disdain flashed in Catherine's eyes: "Whether you are a beaver or a skunk, you should understand that sulking here alone will not solve the problem, and it will only make people look down on you even more." β
Hermione tried to say something, but was interrupted by a muffled "knock, knock, knock".
She wiped the corners of her eyes, got up from the toilet, and asked probely, "Wo...... Miss Worray, did you hear anything? β
Catherine nodded, turning to look in the direction the voice had come from. A dark shadow stretched out by the light was approaching the door of the bathroom.
So, what is wrong with designing the bathroom door so big?
This was a thought shared by Catherine and Hermione.
A tall giant monster stood in the doorway, carrying a large wooden stick in his hand, staring at the door in front of him with intelligent eyes.
The sour smell of stinky socks that hadn't been washed for months wafted over at the right time, and Hermione couldn't hold back any of them, and vomited all over the place.
She swore that she would rather smell the garlic in Professor Quirrell's Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom than suffer such inhuman torture.
"Yes...... It's a troll! Hermione's face was very ugly, and she didn't know if she was spitting, or smoking, or frightened.
The troll's gaze followed her voice, and her heart tightened, and she said hurriedly, "It's broken! It found us! β
"Oh my God......" Hermione's throat was a little dry, and she felt as if her strength had been drained, and she could only lean against the door of the cubicle to maintain her position: "I read in the book that trolls are highly resistant to magic...... At our age, it's hard to have any spell that can do effective damage......"
"Get behind me!" Catherine didn't look back, she drew her wand and stared at the troll in front of her.
"No, I can't leave you alone-"
"Get behind me!" Catherine grabbed Hermione's wrist and threw her a short distance behind her: "You're by my side, you're only getting in the way!" β
As he spoke, a rumbling sound sounded again, and another troll approached.
"I think...... We're going to die. Hermione's words seemed to come from the deepest part of her throat, and there was a sense of seeing through the world.
"I guess it won't be today." Catherine's wand danced, and dark green flames poured out, engulfing the first troll in Hermione's miraculous gaze.
Full level of fire, terrifying.
At that moment, Hermione's eyes had a little more of an inexplicable element that she didn't understand herself.
βStupefyοΌ (faints)"
Catherine's wand shot a light blue spell from the tip of her wand, striking the second troll's brain. The troll staggered, stomping on cotton as if drunk, and finally crashed to the ground.
"Hermione! Hermione! Harry and Ron's voices rang out as two small heads popped out of the door.
Seeing Catherine, the two of them were stunned, and the originally happy little face instantly collapsed.
"Wo...... Miss Woray ......" the two stammered in greeting.
"Red-haired squirrels, and four-eyed frogs?" Catherine looked at the two of them with cold eyes, and after a while, she put her wand back in the pocket of her robe: "I think if you come a little later, you may have each been given a can of beaver meat sauce." β
"Harry, Ron......" Hermione was surprised to see the two friends, she ran over and hugged Harry, and when it was Ron's turn, she thought about it, and still gave Ron a hug: "I really didn't expect you two to come to me...... Oh my gosh. β
Feuds between children come and go as fast as they come, and Hermione has put behind her the bad things Ron said about her this afternoon.
"Hey, I thought you were going to say something." Ron smiled and scratched the back of his head, "That's a friend, isn't it?" β
Harry also smirked, and Catherine looked at the nascent trio with disgust, and said with a look of disgust, "So...... Miss Beaver and her squirrel boyfriend - oh, and the frog good sisters, if nothing else, I think I'm going to get out of here. β
As soon as these words came out, the faces of all three people turned red, especially Ron, whose head seemed to be steaming. He looked at Harry, then at Hermione, and when he saw that Hermione was also looking at him with a red face, he quickly turned his face away again.
Potter stood there grinning like a big idiot, looking no smarter than a troll.
A rush of footsteps woke the trio and interrupted Catherine's attempts to go outside. The first to appear was Professor McGonagall, who looked at the unconscious troll on the ground, one hand in front of her chest, gasping for air.
"Can anyone tell me what's going on here?" Her stern eyes swept over a few people, making Sanxiao only a little uncomfortable.
Catherine didn't care, it wasn't her fault anyway.
Snape walked in just in time, limping. He glanced at Harry with concern, then quickly withdrew his gaze and replaced it with a serious face. Professor Quirrell followed him, glancing at the troll, a flash of surprise in his eyes, followed by a feeble sob, sitting on a flush toilet, clutching the collar of his chest.
"It's my fault, Professor." Hermione was the first to stand up: "I thought I could deal with trolls, you know, I read about them in books......"
"It's Miss Worray, who saved me and knocked the troll unconscious with a spell." She didn't say it was two, after all, there was such a thing as black magic...... The impact of saying it is not very good.
She didn't want to cause trouble for Harry and Ron, or Catherine, who had saved her.
"Harry and Ron were just worried about my situation, so they rushed over to save me." Hermione added.
Professor McGonagall looked at Harry and Ron with stern eyes, and the two silly boys quickly nodded their heads, for fear that they would be reprimanded by Professor McGonagall for being slow to order.
