Vote: Whether the side plot should be written in detail (2nd time)
Recently, there have been people in book reviews who have questioned whether the book is about to be completed at a faster pace.
For the record, the book has indeed reached its final stage, but it has not picked up speed.
It is expected that a large volume will be left upon completion of this volume.
About 300,000 words.
Of course, this number is uncertain, and the key lies in whether the side plot is written in detail.
If the side plot is written in detail, it may be more than ten or two hundred thousand words.
Because of the relationship that has been complained about by many readers before, I haven't written much about some side plots.
For example, the plot of the trio to save Illidan, such as the plot of the four people searching for the relics of the Titans, such as how Varian formed the Death Pact, how to subdue Naxxramas and the Death Lords, and the plot of the three factions against their respective demon armies......
If you write carefully, you can undoubtedly expand the content of many chapters, but I don't think it has much to do with the main character, and if you write a lot of about these supporting characters, I feel that readers won't like to read it, so I'll skip it.
But now some readers feel that this is too fast, so I decided to vote again and decide on the next writing style based on the opinions of the majority of readers.
(The outline of the main plot has been determined, and it is mainly the side plots that are affected).
Here's the poll————————
Option 1: The side plot is brushed aside, such as the three camps against the demon army, just like I did before, just write the result directly and briefly, and mainly put pen and ink on the protagonist. The same is true of the Battle of Mount Hyjal, write an opening, and then go straight to the part where the protagonist appears at the end. Focus on the main character.
Option 2: Slice and write, write out the key parts of the plot, and the foreshadowing content should be brushed aside, such as the tribal battle against the demon army, you should write the famous scene such as Hell Roar jumping and slashing Manolos, the dialogue between Hell Roar and Manolos, Garrosh's performance in battle, and the player's reaction after the fight.
The Battle of Mount Hyjal writes several important episodes, including the various turning points of the battle, the performance and psychological changes of important plot characters in the war, and the scenes of the deaths, but it is not necessary to describe the course of the war in detail.
Option 3: Write in detail, and write the plots of each branch plot very clearly, how the Ruthless Blade and the Hellroar father and son fought Manolos, how Godwin killed Kazak, and how Varian killed Tikdios, all of which are clearly written.
In the next Battle of Mount Hyjal, the plot of the entire battle was written from beginning to end, the performance of each plot character in the war, how Akmund attacked the top of the mountain step by step, and how the situation of the war developed step by step.
——————————
Because the next battle of Castle in the Sky and Mount Hyjal took place at the same time.
If you choose 1, then you will mainly write about the part of the protagonist's Sky City, and Mount Hyjal will only mention the beginning, and then wait for the protagonist to go back to the end.
If you choose 2, the protagonist's Sky City will be used as the main line, and there will be some descriptions of the process of the Battle of Mount Hyjal interspersed in the middle, and the content of the Battle of Mount Hyjal will develop by leaps and bounds, but it will still be relatively intuitive for readers to know the process of the war.
If 3 is chosen, then the two lines will unfold in parallel, alternating and, no less, the Battle of Mount Hyjal will occupy half of the content.
The old rule is to hit 1 after the option you like.
