Chapter 45: Harry and Ron's Gift
Until Christmas Day, Harry and Ron couldn't believe that the two of them had learned who Nicol Lemay was without Hermione, and even had a few words with him!
"Ron, do you know what Mr. Lemay is talking about about the Philosopher's Stone?" Harry sat on the floor, unpacking the large pile of gift boxes in front of him, and turned to Ron and asked, "You know what I mean, you're a pure-blood wizard, and you know more about these things than I do." β
"Don't mention pure-blooded or not-pure-blood, a hateful family like Malfoy would say that!" Ron retorted.
As he spoke, he seemed to remember something, and laughed out loud, "Speaking of Malfoy, do you remember the scene when Draco Malfoy cried and made trouble on the day of the holiday, and was carried out of Hogwarts by his father, hahahaha......"
Harry remembered Malfoy's embarrassment and laughed. The two laughed for a long time before they barely stopped.
"So you don't know what the Philosopher's Stone is?" Harry forced the conversation back on track and asked with a restrained smile.
"Well, I don't know." Ron sighed when he saw that the subject had failed, "We can wait for Hermione to come back and ask her, she has read so many books, she must know what the Philosopher's Stone is!" β
"That's all it can be." Harry nodded.
He looked at his gift box all over the floor and asked hesitantly, "You say...... Professor Dracula has helped us so much, shouldn't we have a Christmas present for him too? β
"He should have given him a gift, but he saved you once on the Quidditch pitch." Ron nodded.
Harry, as a young wizard who had always been fostered in his aunt's house, grew up with no friends and no pocket money, and never had the opportunity to give Christmas presents.
When he came to Hogwarts this year, he gained a lot of wealth from his parents and many good friends he made at school, which made his Christmas more meaningful and warm, and finally had a sense of ritual of exchanging Christmas gifts with others.
But it was the first time Harry had experienced such a full Christmas, and he subconsciously thought about giving Christmas presents to his friends, but forgot to prepare one for his most admired Professor Dracula.
Just now, he saw a large Christmas gift box on the floor, and thought of the phone call with Nicol Lemay yesterday, and then realized that he should also show his heart to Professor Dracula!
"Ron, help me figure out what I want to send to the professor!" He was anxious and shook Ron's shoulder.
But soon Harry's mood was lowered, "Someone as strong as the professor, he probably won't lack anything......"
"Don't say that, Harry, gift-giving is just a formality, the most important thing is to get to the details!" Ron looked very experienced, patted his chest and said, "Think about it, what does Professor Dracula like to do?" β
"Uh...... Prefer to lean against the wall and have fun? Harry asked, uncertain.
"That's not what I'm talking about!" Ron shook his fist, "You have to think about the specific aspects, for example, what are the little habits that the professor usually has?" β
Harry pondered for a long time before he hesitated, "Professor Dracula...... Seems to be holding a lollipop or a goblet all the time? β
"That's right!" Ron slapped his thigh, "So Professor Dracula likes to eat lollipops and drink!" β
"Uh...... It's as simple as that? Harry looked confused, feeling that this was not the same as he had imagined Professor Dracula to be cold and dashing.
"You don't understand this, that kind of powerful wizard always has some quirks." Ron said confidently, "Dumbledore, for example, my mother once told us that he had to eat sweets every day, which is why he went to St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Injuries every year for tooth decay!" β
Harry had a strange expression, but nodded convincingly at the thought of Dumbledore's usual strange little pleasures.
"Ron, then I'll leave it to you to prepare the gifts, I'm sure you'll do a great job!" Harry patted Ron on the shoulder, pulled a handful of gold gallons out of his pocket and handed it to him, "Be sure to buy Professor Dracula the best gift!" If you end up with some leftovers, you can buy your own snacks. β
Ron had never seen so many Garons in his life, and he couldn't help but swallow.
Then, he patted his chest heavily and promised, "Don't worry, it's absolutely no problem to leave the preparation of gifts to me!" β
Then he ran out of the dormitory.
He was going to write a letter owl to send to Hogsmeade's shop so that he could get Professor Dracula's Christmas present ready as quickly as possible.
Harry had received too many gifts from fans or admirers, so he had to sit in his bedroom with trembling hands and open a large number of his gift boxes.
"Huh?"
When he opened the last pack of light Christmas gifts, he couldn't help but sigh softly.
A liquid-like, silvery-gray thing slid down to the floor, clumping together in a heap and shining.

Hogsmeade is a wizarding village located near Hogwarts Castle, which can be reached quickly across the long wooden bridge on the west side of the castle.
Due to the proximity of the distance, Dracula received a gift from the Hogsmeade merchants from Harry and Ron at noon that day, just before the Christmas feast began.
Dracula looked at the gift box, and a line was written crookedly on itβ
Merry Christmas with Professor's Favorite Lollipops and Liquor, H.P.& R.W.
"These two young men have a future, which saves me the trouble of purchasing again!"
He nodded in satisfaction, snapped his fingers, and the gift box peeled off and unwrapped itself.
However, the moment he saw the gift, Dracula's face immediately turned dark-
Among the gifts sent by Harry and Ron, a beautifully packaged bottle of vodka stood in the center of the gift box, surrounded by a circle of Ron's favorite sunny orange-flavored lollipops, which were inserted on the pedestal in a staggered manner, exuding a color like bright sunshine......

Dracula looked gloomy as he pushed the sunny orange-flavored lollipop and the spicy vodka bottle away from him, and magically wrapped it in the box he had just opened.
A bat appeared out of thin air, picked up the gift box, flew through the window to the headmaster's office on the eighth floor, and handed it directly to Dumbledore.
Then, Dracula, who was still not relieved, appeared in Quirrell's office.
"Assistant Teacher Quirrell, wait until school starts to find out the holiday homework of Harry Potter and Ron Weasley, and correct it according to the strictest standards!"
