Chapter Ninety-Two: Regulus Black
"Hello, Mr. Blake." Dracula walked over to the corpse and chuckled and looked down at his face hidden under his black hair, "It's Mr. Black, right? I see the coat of arms of the Blake family on your chest."
After Dracula's magical transformation, this Yin corpse has become completely different from its original appearance.
His black hair, soaked in blood, was loosely clinging to his face, obscuring half of his cheeks. But from the image of the lower half of his face, you can still see that he is handsome and proud.
At this time, the skin on his body no longer had traces of puffiness caused by long-term soaking, a little pale, but very fine, and he looked like a rich young master who had not suffered much.
Hearing Dracula's voice, he looked up in confusion.
"Ahem...... Who are you and how did you end up here?" He asked with some emotion, "What about Kreacher?" Where's Kreacher?!"
"Calm down, Mr. Blake." Degu stretched out his index finger, and a pair of demonic wings appeared on his fingertips.
The young man sitting in the water of the blood-colored lake seemed to have been doused with a basin of cold water, and immediately calmed down.
"I guess you need to know what time it is." Dracula couldn't help but think back to the time when he woke up after a hundred years of sleep, so he said, "It's 1992, I wonder if it's a little different from the time you remember?"
"What?!" The black-haired young man's eyes widened suddenly, "Are you kidding? It's 1979, thirteen years from the year you said!"
"Looks like you lost your life thirteen years ago." Dracula smiled, "Take a good look at your surroundings, Mr. Blake. This is no longer where you were when you died, I brought you back to life!"
Hearing Dracula's appalling words, the black-haired young man subconsciously turned his head and looked blankly at everything around him, with an extremely confused emotion in his eyes.
"I...... I remember, I was supposed to be in a very dark cave...... Dragged into the water by countless corpses......" he muttered, "yes...... I guess I'm really dead......
Seeing that some of the young man's memories were still alive, Dracula nodded in satisfaction.
He casually sat down in the back, and the blood-colored water rushed up at the same time, forming a seat as crystal clear as a ruby under him.
"Mr. Blake, tell us your story." Dracula sat in the chair, leisurely cocking Erlang's legs, with a deferential expression.
"My name is Regulus Arcturus Blake." The brunette said, "I don't remember much about the past, except that I used to be a Death Eater."
He didn't know why, but he didn't have the idea of resisting this silver-haired man in his heart.
"I can see you're a Death Eater." Dracula raised his eyes slightly, "I'm more curious about why you were killed by Voldemort as a core Death Eater with the Dark Mark, and even brutally made into a Yin corpse?"
"I don't know if I've been made into a corpse, but I wasn't killed by the Dark Lord himself." The young man named Regulus Blake said with a blank face, "I remember very well, I died of my own free will."
….
"I've discovered the secret of the Dark Lord's immortality, a secret that no other Death Eater knows."
"Horcruxes, right?" Dracula said with interest.
A look of surprise finally appeared on Regulus's face, and he glanced back at Dracula.
"Yes, Horcruxes indeed. I've learned about this evil stuff from my family's collection of dark arts." He whispered, "In order to stop the Dark Lord's immortality, I voluntarily entered the traps he had set up and retrieved his Horcruxes."
"Wait a minute!" Serena didn't know when she came to the two of them, and frowned in confusion, "You should be the Dark Lord's trusted subordinate, right?" Why would he want to destroy his eternal life?"
As she spoke, Serena looked at Dracula Ichi
eye, pointing to the chair he was sitting in, and then to his back.
Dracula smiled, waved his hand casually, and conjured up a ruby chair of the same style for Serena.
"The Dark Lord...... He...... His usual methods are too brutal, and he doesn't care about anyone but him!" Regulus closed his eyes in some pain, as if recalling his experience as a Death Eater, "but I was only hesitant and didn't actually want to betray him."
"Until one day, the Dark Lord asked me for a house-elf to use for experiments. I recommended Kreacher." At this, Regulus looked extremely sad and hateful, "I told Kreacher to do what the Dark Lord told him to do, and then go home."
"Kreacher is full of my commands, because I want him to go home, so that he can muster up the last bit of energy in his desperation, and use the hallucination unique to house-elves to break through the Dark Lord's anti-curse and return to Blake's house."
Blood-red tears welled up in Regulus's eyes.
His body was not completely out of the category of the Yin Corpse, so he had no tears. These tears are the blood that Dracula uses to repair his organs.
"I actually pushed Kreacher into the center of pain, on the brink of death." "Kreacher is my best friend, a family member who has been with me since I was born! And I pushed him into the fire with my own hands!"
"Don't get too excited, Mr. Blake. Calm down your emotions first." Dracula raised his hand, interrupting Regulus' grief, "If you get so excited again, maybe the organ I just repaired will rupture again, and I won't help you fix it again."
It's not that it's not bad, it's just that Dracula hates doing repetitive work the most.
"Thanks, I'll take care of it." Regulus raised his hand and wiped away the blood-red tears.
"Kreacher didn't tell me what he had been through when he got home." After a few moments, he continued, "But I found a clue in Kreacher's frightened expression, and in his weak body. So I ordered Kreacher to tell me exactly what had happened."
"Furious to learn of the Dark Lord's viciousness, I asked Kreacher to take me to the cave where the Dark Lord took him."
….
"It wasn't until that time that I finally learned that the Dark Lord wanted to use Horcruxes to gain eternal life." Regulus's mood turned a little resentful again, "A man like him, even his closest subordinates don't care, he doesn't deserve eternal life!"
"So I went back home and found someone to make a locket that was almost identical to the Dark Lord's Horcrux. Then ask Kreacher to take me to the cave where he kept the Horcruxes again."
"I drank the poison he had set up and exchanged it for the Dark Lord's Horcrux."
Regulus fell silent, and the air fell silent for a moment.
"So...... You knew you were going to die from that time?" After a while, Dracula asked.
"That's right. But I'm willing to die." Regulus said, "I should be the only one other than the Dark Lord who knows about Horcruxes, and that's my mission."
"If the Dark Lord really rules the world, there will be no happiness in the world. Even the Blake family will eventually be reduced to a black dog to be slaughtered by him. What's more, sooner or later, the Dark Lord will find out that his Horcruxes have been replaced, and he will definitely not be able to let me go, and I will even affect the entire family."
"So I have to die, that's the best ending for me. My parents, my family, they don't know anything, and as long as Voldemort doesn't want to expose the fact that the Horcruxes are exposed, he won't implicate the powerful Blake family for no reason."
The air was quiet again.
Suddenly, a seat rose from the lake, lifting Regulus's body, which was still submerged in the water.
This chair is indistinguishable from the ruby-shaped chair under Dracula and Serena.
"You're a hero, Mr. Black." Dracula stood up and slapped with emotion
patted Regulus on the shoulder, "I really didn't expect that a Yin corpse that was originally resurrected casually would bring such a wonderful story."
At first, he became interested in the corpse of Regulus, only because he was the only one who slipped through the net in that war. This made Dracula feel very embarrassed, so he wanted to research the reason.
Later, when he found the Blake family crest on Regulus's body and the Dark Mark mark on the inside of his left arm, he was curious about why such an apparently high-ranking Death Eater could be made into a corpse by Voldemort.
Dracula then "resurrects" Regulus, hoping to have some fun with the memories he may still have.
However, he didn't expect that such a humble yin corpse would bring such a touching story.
Dracula, who originally wanted to have fun, was actually moved, and he felt a little ashamed.
He turned his head to sneak a glance at Serena, only to find that she was burying her whole face in her hands, her shoulders twitching from time to time.
"Little Serena was moved to tears?" Dracula curled the corners of his mouth and chuckled as he rubbed Serena's hair, making a mess of the black and white hair-colored spots on her head.
Dracula compared his performance with Serena's, and suddenly felt no ashamed.
"Not really!" Serena's mumbling voice came from between her hands.
….
She shook her head in defiance and tried to shake Dracula's hand off, but was unsuccessful.
"Mr. Blake, stay here for the rest of your time." Dracula gently smoothed Serena's hair and turned to look at Regulus, and said to him, "You are no longer a wizard now, at most a special Yin corpse, a type of dark creature."
"The lake of blood here is a great nourishment for dark creatures, so stay here for a few more days and try to recuperate from the organs in your body that are no longer functioning."
"Cherish this opportunity, this blood lake is rarely entered!"
Pulling up a teary-eyed Serena, Dracula prepares to find something else to distract her. How could the cold and ruthless Lord Earl be touched by a young man?
"Wait a minute!"
Before he could take a few steps, Dracula was stopped by Regulus behind him.
Dracula stopped and looked back at him.
"I don't know your name, sir." Regulus seemed to have finally recovered from his misery and rose from his ruby seat.
[In other words, it is the best way to read aloud and listen to books at present, @
I can't even feel the magic on my wand, so I don't know how to get out of here......
Dracula looked at his serious expression and nodded silently.
"Just eleven years ago, the Dark Lord failed." "But he wasn't at the hands of Dumbledore, he was defeated at the hands of a baby."
Regulus looked extremely stunned.
"Don't question me yet." Dracula raised his hand to stop his questioning, "These things will naturally be known when you go out, and this is something that everyone in the wizarding world knows."
….
"As for going to your house-elf......
"No problem, I can take you there myself!"
Dracula didn't plan to ignore Regulus's request, because the body of the corpse was far from complete, and Dracula didn't bother to repair it for him again.
But when he heard about Horcruxes from Regulus, he suddenly became a little interested.
Since Voldemort hadn't died completely under his own Curse eleven years ago, and hadn't been completely wiped out in Dracula's Scarlet Water Prison some time ago, it meant that he had at least one Horcrux alive.
In other words, it is very likely that the house elf in Regulus's house did not find a way to destroy the Horcrux.
Dracula suddenly realized that he had a chance to get Voldemort's Horcruxes. He'd wanted to study something as strange as Horcruxes for a long time!
So Dracula did not hesitate to agree to Regulus's request.
"Serena, you stay here to look after your family, and you must take good care of the castle!" He looked at Serena and said to her, "I'll take Mr. Blake home to see."
At this time, Serena had not yet recovered from her state of emotion, and her expression was dumbfounded.
She watched as Dracula asked where Blake's house was, and then a dark moon flashed, and the two disappeared in place.
It was only then that Serena reacted, and she was once again thrown by Dracula in the castle as a housekeeper, while Dracula himself continued to be his shopkeeper!
"Ahhh
Serena stomped her foot angrily, then spread her black and white wings and flew back to her room to sulk.
……
Borough of Inslington, London, England.
A dark moon suddenly appeared in a small square, and Dracula and Regulus stood in the middle of the square on a barren and messy meadow.
The houses around the small square are gloomy, and they look like they are thousands of miles away. Some houses had broken windows that gleamed in the light of street lamps, many doors were peeling with paint, and a few homes were littered with garbage outside the front door steps.
"I'm not in the wrong place, right, the Blake family lives here?" Dracula looked at Regulus next to him and asked with some suspicion, "I think this kind of place is more suitable for vampires and corpses."
"It's here, yes, but it looks like it's been a long time since it's been around here." Regulus looked around, a hint of bad emotion in his eyes.
He was the first to step out of the messy meadow, across the road, onto the sidewalk, and looked at the gloomy doors and windows.
"Mr. Dracula, remember one address - 12 Grimmauld Place." When he saw Dracula follow, Regulus turned to him.
"I understand, the Loyalty Curse, right?" Dracula chuckled and nodded.
As Dracula memorizes the address of 12 Grimmauld Place, a tattered door pops up between 11 and 13.
Immediately after, dirty walls and eerie windows appeared, and it looked like an extra house suddenly swelled up, squeezing everything out on both sides.
Looking at the interested look on Dracula's face, Regulus couldn't help but show a proud expression.
"Mr. Dracula, this way, please." He to the 12th
The position of the door of the room stretched out his hand.
The door in front of me looked old, with peeling black paint and scratches on the left and right. The silver knocker is in the shape of a large coiled serpent.
There is no keyhole in the door, and it seems that it can only be opened by magic.
Regulus walked to the door, his face extremely mixed with emotions.
Then, he took a deep breath and mustered up the courage to ring the doorbell......
