Chapter 111: News from the Dueling Club
"Ah...... Teach Teach Teach ...... Professor?"
Looking at Professor Dracula who appeared out of nowhere, Harry was so frightened that he couldn't speak.
"You, you...... Why are you here?" He stammered.
"Why am I not here?" Dracula smiled playfully and casually asked, "Is it just you, the little Gryffindor wizard, to come to Ravenclaw Tower?"
"I...... That's not what I meant, Professor." Harry blushed and looked down at his toes, "It just occurred to me that I knew a third-year classmate who happened to be on the way and wanted to ask what you talked about this morning......
"By the way?" Dracula smiled even more happily.
As if he had discovered something, he looked back and forth between Harry and Cho Chang, both of them uncomfortable.
After the Defense Against the Dark Arts class in the morning, Dracula was bored and back in his office, thinking about what he could have fun with today.
Just as he was about to close the curtains to block out the sunlight from outside, by the permeability of the cloister in the teaching area, his gaze inadvertently crossed the lawn in the center of the teaching area and saw a figure running quickly.
The fast-running little wizard had probably just finished his herb class, and his robe was still stained with speckled dirt marks. He ran from the northeast to the southwest of the teaching area, and he didn't even have time to catch his breath.
Dracula was interested, and saw the little wizard's face through his excellent eyesight—it turned out to be Harry Potter.
Dracula cast a spell on himself and quietly walked Harry to the top of the stairs of the Ravenclaw Tower, waiting for Harry to deliver it himself.
What he didn't expect was that Harry had come to Ravenclaw Tower desperately to find a female classmate, and he had even used the fact that he had asked about the Defence Against the Dark Arts class as an excuse to talk to him.
Dracula was suddenly unhappy, how could he possibly tolerate his lessons becoming a pretext for the little wizard to talk?
Dracula immediately lifted the illusion spell and appeared in front of Harry and Cho Chang.
"From the greenhouse in the northeast of the school area to the Ravenclaw Tower in the southwest...... Is this what you think is the way?" He said playfully.
Harry's face turned even redder. He hung his head down, his toes unconsciously clasped into the ground, as if trying to make a crack in the ground with his toes.
It was Cho Zhang who saw Harry's embarrassment and took the initiative to take the topic.
"Professor Dracula, did you come to Ravenclaw Tower for something?" She asked politely, "Maybe I can help you!"
Dracula glanced at her, then nodded slightly.
"So, there's something you need help with." He thought for a moment, then took out a piece of parchment with large letters written on it from his pocket and handed it to Cho Zhang, "Excuse me, Chang, help me put this parchment on the bulletin board in the Ravenclaw common room."
Qiu Chang curiously took the parchment from Dracula's hand and looked at what was written on it——....
"The Dueling Club is about to open! The first meeting of the Dueling Club will be held on 7 September 1992 at 6.30pm in the Great Hall of Hogwarts Castle. All interested Hogwarts students are welcome to participate – no house, no year level, no grade limit."
"Are you going to start a dueling club?" Qiu Zhang asked in surprise.
Hearing her question, Harry poked his head over in curiosity.
But Harry didn't get very close, but kept a distance that wanted to get close to her, but was too close to her.
And he only glanced at the parchment in Qiu Zhang's hand, and was distracted by the long, supple black hair next to him, and completely lost the idea of reading the handwriting on the parchment.
"That's right, you're welcome to the Duel Club, two Defence Against the Dark Arts Year No. 1." Dracula chuckled softly and pulled another copy out of his pocket
The same parchment was handed to Harry, "Since there's a Gryffindor wizard here, I just don't have to make another trip."
"Potter, as requested, please put this parchment on the bulletin board in the Gryffindor common room." Dracula said, "Potter?"
"Oh oh good!" Harry was mentioned by Dracula's name twice before he finally came to his senses and took another piece of parchment with the same words from Dracula's hand.
"Okay, just don't forget about your respective tasks, and I'll not bother you for now."
Dracula chuckled and glanced at the two of them, waved his hand casually, and turned to walk in the direction of his office.
"Goodbye, Professor!" Qiu Chang politely said goodbye to Professor Dracula, then looked at Harry, who was still standing dumbly, "Mr. Potter, do you need me to tell you what we talked about in our Defence Against the Dark Arts class this morning?"
"Ah......h
Harry quickly turned his head to the other side, not daring to look into Cho Zhang's eyes.
「…… Thank you so much!" He said sneeringly.
Qiu Zhang glanced at Harry's clumsy movements, and the corners of his mouth moved, as if he couldn't help but laugh. But she couldn't hold back a laugh and told Harry about the morning's lesson.
Harry nodded repeatedly, but he was actually absent-minded and didn't listen much at all.
It wasn't until he returned to Gryffindor's common room that Harry was still recalling the sound of Cho Chang's voice and her smiling expression, looking silly and smiling from time to time.
"Hey, buddy, you've lost your soul?" A hand shook in front of Harry's eyes.
Harry didn't react at all, still giggling.
"Hey!" Ron slapped his hand heavily on Harry's shoulder, waking him up in an instant.
"Ah, who?" Harry's eyes widened as he woke up to the red-haired, freckled face in front of him, "Oh, Ron, you scared me!"
"I've been calling you for a long time, Harry!" Ron said dissatisfied, "If I don't wake you up like this, I don't know when I'll be able to bring your mind back." ….
"yes, Harry, the food we've brought you is going to be cold!" Hermione chimed in, looking at Harry worriedly, "What happened when you went to ask Professor Dracula about the lectures?" Why do you come back like you're stupid?"
"Could it be that the Defence Against the Dark Arts class is even more exaggerated, and you are scared silly?" Ron speculated worriedly.
"No, nothing, Ron." Harry quickly shook his head, "I've already asked about Professor Dracula's lecture in the morning class of the third year, and the main lecture is ......."
Ron and Hermione looked at him expectantly.
「…… It's over, I forgot." As soon as Harry remembered what he had just experienced, his mind immediately filled Cho Zhang's face, and he couldn't remember the slightest bit of the Defence Against the Dark Arts lesson.
"Forgot?!" Ron looked at him incredulously, "So what the hell did you do when you packed up your things and ran back to the castle after class?"
"Take it easy, Ron." Harry smiled awkwardly and said weakly, "Professor Dracula probably hasn't had another perverted combat training session, I think she's in good shape, not at all like she just finished a Dracula combat training session."
"She?" Hermione grasped the key words in Harry's words with great sensitivity and looked at him directly, "So the Ravenclaw student you know is not a senior, but a senior?"
"She?" Ron reacted and jumped up, "I know! I said, why are you so diligent today!"
Harry realized that he had said the wrong thing and quickly covered his mouth.
"Tell me what you're like, Harry!" Hermione's face was excited, her eyes shining, "Even if you don't say it, there shouldn't be a few third-year girls in Ravenclaw, and it's easy to find."
Whoever comes out!"
Fingers snapped, she began to think back to the Ravenclaw girls she'd seen in the library, wondering who had piqued Harry's interest.
"I can't believe Harry is already thinking about finding a partner at this age." Ron muttered to himself, "I don't know what Ginny would think when she found out about this, but she admires Harry the most."
Looking at the excited or gossipy looks on the faces of the two, Harry's face was red.
Seeing that the topic was about to reach a point where it could not be controlled, in a panic, he suddenly saw a piece of parchment folded in his hand.
"Wait a minute, I just remembered that there's one more important thing to do!" As if grasping at a life-saving straw, Harry rushed to the bulletin board in the Gryffindor common room with his parchment, fleeing the scene of Hermione and Ron's gossip.
He carefully glued the parchment to the bulletin board and slowed down to get back to Ron and Hermione later.
Harry's slow movements finally caught the attention of the two of them, and they put Harry's emotional problems aside and leaned over curiously.
"Dueling Club?" Hermione looked at the paper Harry had taped to the bulletin board and looked at him with suspicion, "Harry, are you going to have a dueling club?"
"As your friend, I feel compelled to advise you - Harry, you can't think you can start a club just because you won a first place in the Defence Against the Dark Arts final exam!" She said seriously. ….
"It's not me, it's Professor Dracula." Harry corrected, "I ran into Professor Dracula over the Ravenclaw Tower, and he asked me to help with this parchment here."
"Dueling Club? Wow, that sounds interesting!" Ron looked at the large writing on the parchment and immediately became excited, as if a bunch of stars appeared in his eyes, "Let's go to this club together, Harry!"
Harry was about to nod his head in agreement, but Hermione interrupted them suddenly and solemnly.
"Wait a minute!" She carefully studied the parchment that was all over the bulletin board, and her expression became very solemn, "Don't you look at the last line, don't you feel familiar?"
[Given the circumstances, Ron and Harry turned their heads blankly and looked at the last line of the parchment—
"No limit to the house, no limit to the grade, no limit to the grades?" Ron read it out, "What's the matter, Hermione, isn't that good for us? Otherwise, a club like this kind of actual combat would definitely not allow junior students to participate!"
Harry nodded confusedly, thinking that Ron was perfectly fine.
"So you knew it was a real club, Ron?" Hermione pursed her lips.
She looked at Ron and Harry depressedly, as if wondering how their heads were so long and so unbright.
"Seeing these conditions, don't you feel familiar at all?" Hermione poked her finger at the last line of the parchment, "Did you two forget? Professor Dracula was originally accepted into the sixth grade. What are the conditions for students in the promotion class?"
"Professor Dracula is even willing to accept 'T', a class student, just to make everyone as much as possible appreciate his perverted combat training class!"
"Shhhh I said how could there be such a club, there were no restrictions. It turns out that Professor Dracula moved devil training from Defense Against the Dark Arts class to an extracurricular club!"
"Is that what Professor Dracula thinks?" Harry shuddered at the thought of Dracula's smiling face as he handed him the parchment, "That'...... Are we going to the dueling club?"
Ron's eyes struggled and he began to spin in circles in front of the bulletin board.
Finally, just as Ron was about to knock Harry unconscious, he gritted his teeth and looked at Harry as if he were dead—
"But it's a duel, Harry!" Ron grabbed Harry's shoulders and said in a dry voice, "Duels are the most sacred duels between wizards, such as
If I miss this opportunity, I will regret it for the rest of my life!"
"I decided, I had to go to the first club party. If you can't keep going, it's a big deal to quit at the second meeting!"
Harry looked at Ron with a look of firmness and a little cowardice, and turned his head to look at Hermione.
"Hermione, are you going to participate?" He asked.
Hermione glanced at Harry and Ron out of the corner of her eye, her expression looking a little disappointed.
"Of course I'm going!" She held her head high and said, "I still want to be the first in all subjects!"
It turned out that Hermione had just said so much to induce Harry not to participate in Professor Dracula's dueling club, so that he could further improve his Defence Against the Dark Arts score under the devil's training, so as to surpass Harry and get the first place in the grade.
"Okay, then let's go together!" Harry laughed.
