Chapter 118: A Good Show
While Harry was still stunned and confused, a golden-red flame suddenly appeared in the Defence Against the Dark Arts professor's office, illuminating the dark atmosphere of the office.
"Oh? Looks like we've got a guest coming."
Dracula curled the corners of his mouth and greeted him in the direction of the firelight.
An old man with white hair and a long white beard that stretched to his waist strode out of the firelight.
With a solemn face, he asked straight to the point, "Professor Dracula, I heard Severus say that you took Harry Potter with you?"
"You're a lot later than I expected, Dumbledore." Dracula chuckled and said to the old man, "Actually, I thought Snape would have contacted you earlier!"
Snape may have been addicted to reprimanding young wizards at the Dueling Club, or he may have subconsciously not felt that Dracula would hurt Harry Potter, and he stood on the stage of the Dueling Club for a long time before finally remembering that Harry had been taken away.
Snape then used a special Patronus Charm to send the message to Dumbledore, who was in the Headmaster's office.
After Dumbledore got the news, in order to prevent any possible accidents from Harry, who was extremely important to him, he came to Dracula's office as soon as possible.
However, this period of time has been very abundant.
Enough for Dracula to detect Harry's relationship with Slytherin, find out Harry's memories, and even pull Riddle, the journal that had been bewitching Harry's mind, out of his arms.
"Actually, you've come just in time, and I have a surprise for you." Dracula smiled playfully, then turned sideways, allowing Riddle's figure to appear in Dumbledore's view.
Rao was a wise old man like Dumbledore, and his expression became extremely stunned for a moment.
"Tom?" Dumbledore looked at the handsome black-haired young man in front of him in surprise, "What are you ......?"
His eyes flickered quickly, and his memory seemed to go back to sixty years ago—
The handsome black-haired young man in front of him completely coincided with the appearance of Tom Riddle, who was amazingly talented back then, when he held high the Special Contribution Award to the school!
"Long time gone, Professor Dumbledore." Riddle smiled flawlessly and bowed gracefully to Dumbledore, "My memory is still from the time when I received the Special Contribution Award to the University - you were the only professor who questioned it."
"So you were Tom sixty years ago?" Dumbledore frowned, his sharp gaze as if to penetrate the slightly illusory figure in front of him.
After a moment, he suddenly showed a look of understanding.
"I see...... Dumbledore bowed slightly, then turned to look at Harry who was full of doubts, "Harry, could you please go back to the Gryffindor common room for a while?" Professor Dracula and I have other things to discuss."
"But...... I think it has a lot to do with me, Professor!" Harry said hurriedly.
Harry certainly didn't want to leave. He still has a lot of things to figure out, and a lot of questions that he hasn't asked yet, and he is full of doubts about what happened today!
….
"When the time comes, I'll explain it to you, Harry." Dumbledore looked into Harry's eyes, still gentle but resolute, "But for now, please go back first, okay?" With so much to go through today, it's time for you to get some rest."
Harry opened his mouth to tell the professors that he wasn't tired at all, that he didn't need to rest at all.
But looking at Dumbledore's increasingly tough eyes, he finally nodded silently and turned to leave the Defence Against the Dark Arts professor's office.
The blank journal was left in his office, lying quietly on the cold floor......
When Harry left, only Dracula, Dumbledore, and Riddle were left.
"You're a Horcrux that Tom made after killing Myrtle, right?" Dumbledore was the first to look
Xiang Riddle, asked in a deep voice.
"I can't hide it from you, Professor Dumbledore." Riddle whispered, "I really want to know, is there really anything else in this world that can be hidden from you?"
"There's so much I don't know, Tom." Dumbledore shook his head slowly, "If it weren't for your performance at the Wu orphanage that gave me a preconceived impression and was always wary of you, I guess I would have been deceived by your performance like the other professors."
"I'm honored that the world's greatest wizard said that!" Riddle's voice grew colder, "I really didn't expect that even after all these years, the greatest wizard in the world is still called Albus Dumbledore."
"I thought that the 'me' out there would only take your place in just a few years...... But instead of achieving this feat, he fell into the hands of a baby!"
Listening to Riddle's cold words, Dracula raised his eyebrows slightly and asked with interest, "You seem to be a little dissatisfied with your essence, Mr. Riddle."
"That's true, Mr. Dracula." Riddle looked at Dracula and gave him a meaningful look, "The 'me' out there, not only did I fail to fulfill the wish I made when I was younger, but I was even getting more and more stupid. He's completely lost to the power."
Dracula's expression became more and more intriguing, and the corners of his mouth hooked an exaggerated arc.
"So what do you think, Mr. Riddle?" He asked.
"Professor Dracula!" Dumbledore's voice suddenly resounded throughout the office, interrupting the conversation between Dracula and Riddle, "I think it's my duty to remind you not to forget our most important purpose—"
"Voldemort cannot be truly destroyed until all of Voldemort's Horcruxes are destroyed!"
Dumbledore looked at Riddle with a fierce look in his eyes, "Tom, I guess Voldemort must be more than just you, right?"
"So Professor Dumbledore has something he doesn't know." Riddle smiled and shrugged, "Of course, according to our thinking, a single Horcrux is definitely not foolproof."
"As for how many Horcruxes he made...... Even I don't know. After all, I only have memories of Voldemort before he was sixteen."
….
"I see." Dumbledore nodded slightly, "Thank you for the clues, Tom, and I'm glad to see you again without being distorted by the dark arts."
Then, he raised his wand slightly, "But sorry, Tom, you should have been able to guess - as a Horcrux, there can only be one ending like this......
A wisp of crimson flame erupted from the tip of Dumbledore's wand, burning violently in the air, expanding to the size of half a room in an instant, scorching towards the blank journal on the ground.
"Dumbledore's iconic firestorm?"
Feeling the air that instantly became scorching, Riddle gently closed his eyes and let the flames pierce through his illusory body and move closer in the direction of the journal.
He knew that he couldn't escape at the hands of the most powerful wizard in the wizarding world, so he didn't take any chances.
Riddle was waiting for another man to make a move.
All my hints are in place, hoping to pique his interest...... he thought, with his eyes closed.
For a long time, Riddle didn't feel the burning pain of the diary.
Then he opened his eyes, and saw two different colors, but both unusually bright and magnificent, flames that filled almost the entire space in the entire Defence Against the Dark Arts professor's office, facing each other and confronting each other.
On one side was a crimson that was thicker than magma, and the evaporating heat in it seemed to be able to ignite the eyes of all the wizards present!
On the other side is Sen Bai, which is colder than white bones, although it is in the form of flames, Riddle does not feel any scorching heat from it, but feels that it has a trace of coldness that penetrates deep into the bone marrow!

The flames touched each other anxiously, dissolving each other, not giving in to each other.
"Professor Dracula, have you really forgotten our most important purpose?" Dumbledore's voice came from the sticky red, and his voice was more serious than ever, "Don't you want to do your part for the safety of Nicol's Philosopher's Stone, and his and Perenal's lives?!"
"Mr. Headmaster, I have always had the Philosopher's Stone to protect that old fellow, and I have never forgotten it." Dracula's voice rang out from the white flames, "But I thought you had already understood that destroying Voldemort was never my most important goal......
After a moment of silence, the crimson flames suddenly began to contract, and in the blink of an eye, they dissipated.
Dumbledore's figure emerged, and a faint red glow could be seen on his wand.
"I always thought that you tried to find anything interesting in the world based on a solid bottom line." He whispered, "That's what Nicol told me all along. And he said unto me, though thou art a little cynical, but thou hast the firm principles that once stood upon thy nobleman......
"Professor Dracula, but I don't see any principle in your act of choosing to protect Voldemort's Horcrux today!"
"If you can't see it, then why bother to say more? It's better to use your personal strength to decide what is right and who is wrong!" Dracula smiled wickedly, "I wanted to fight you a long time ago, Dumbledore. Let me see what kind of surprise the greatest wizard in the wizarding world can bring me!"
….
The black-red cloak behind Dracula was windless, and bursts of dark aura appeared around him unreservedly, and gradually, a dark moon quietly appeared in this office, cold and heavy.
Dumbledore's face changed slightly, and he sighed softly.
"Professor Dracula, I'm not going to do anything with you here." He whispered, "Choosing the interior of Hogwarts Castle, do you want to tear down the entire castle? Many students will be injured or even killed!"
With that, Phoenix Fawkes landed on Dumbledore's shoulders and gently spread a pair of broad wings.
"I hope you don't regret what you did today, Professor Dracula." He gave Dracula a deep look and finally said.
The next moment, a golden-red flame enveloped Dumbledore's body, instantly taking him to the Headmaster's office.

Said meaningfully.
Dumbledore saw that there was a brilliant light in Dracula's eyes flowing rapidly, as if some other information and content were rolling in those burgundy eyes.
So he also urged the Regent to take the mind, and collided the spirits and thoughts of the two people together-
"Potter's blood test results are in, and I feel compelled to let you know." Dracula looked at Dumbledore's sharp eyes behind his half-moon glasses, and silently communicated to him, "I've checked, Potter doesn't have any Salazar blood, and he can use the old snake voice."
"So...... I didn't make a mistake in my judgment, did I?" Dumbledore also said silently, "Did Voldemort really inadvertently leave the soul fragment on Harry's body, making Harry an alternative Horcrux?"
"That's right, so if Voldemort is to be destroyed, the Potter kid must also die!" Dracula said, "Is this really an acceptable ending?"
"Phew-" Dumbledore exhaled silently, "I'm not going to let this happen, I've got a ...... for that."
He quickly passed on the pre-eucalyptus he had prepared to Dracula's spirit.
"I have to say, there are too many coincidences that you need for this pre-eucalyptus." Dracula frowned, "And the price to pay is too great, you're using yourself as a pawn!"
"I've lived enough for more than 100 years, it's okay, it's good to succeed." Dumbledore laughed silently.
"Forget it, I want you to live a few hundred more years and feel what it means to be truly alive!" Dracula sneered, "I have another plan here, would you like to hear about it?"
"Of course, I need you to put on a good show in front of Riddle!"
