Chapter 9

An imposing ship, an elderly witch in a dark green wizard dress standing on the deck near the bow.

The ship looked eerie, like a skeleton, as if it were the remains of a wreck that had just been salvaged, and the portholes shimmered with a dim, foggy glimmer that looked like ghostly eyes.

"Master, have you really given up on conquering the Muggle realm?" The witch asked softly.

"How many times have you said that, Vader, just call me Headmaster." An old man with white hair turned from the bow of the ship and smiled at the witch.

His smile looks extraordinarily unruly, but it reveals a mildness in his emotions, as if it can bring peace to people's hearts.

"Yes, Grindelwald...... Headmaster." Vader Rozier nodded hesitantly.

Grindelwald smiled with satisfaction and turned to look at the endless sea as far as the eye could see.

"You don't understand, having lost the opportunity of half a century ago, wizards will no longer have any advantage over Muggles." He sighed and looked to the sea below the side of the ship.

On the rough sea, a picture faintly emerged, and it was reflected in Grindelwald's blue pupils as deep as the sea—

It was a bustling world, full of colorful glare lights, countless huge billboards covering every side of the tall buildings, and many holograms being projected over the city.

The criss-crossing roads paved every corner that was not occupied by high-rise buildings, connecting the dazzling buildings, and the cars on the roads were mostly dazzling with flashes of bells and whistles.

In that world, the Muggle Academy of Sciences had developed a new technology that would detect traces of magic......

"Over the past few decades, Muggles have grown so fast that they are not what we saw them in the first place." Grindelwald looked at the image on the surface of the sea and said slowly, "They have a large population, advanced weapons, and even daily life is faster than that of the wizarding world."

"Sometimes even I wonder if we're going to use magic, or if the Muggles use magic...... Those weapons of mass destruction can even pose a threat to me."

"But we have the Imperius Curse." Vader said, "We can control the Muggle community, and gradually control the Muggle world through infiltration."

"It's not that simple." Grindelwald shook his head, "The Imperius Curse is not a panacea after all, and if those Muggle *** make too many unbelievable decisions, they will still be discovered."

"Plus there are so many of them, how many Muggles can they control, even if all the wizards who are skilled in using the Imperius Curse take action? What's more, these excellent wizards are not necessarily on our side."

"But why...... Isn't this for the greater good of the wizarding world?" Vida was puzzled.

"No, as the number of Muggles continues to grow, so does the proportion of hemp wizards in the wizarding world." Grindelwald said, "They came to wizarding after eleven years in the Muggle world, and a lot of family and friends were there......

"These people won't let us go to war with Muggles, let alone pro-Muggle purebloods like Weasley."

"If we want war, we will inevitably experience a civil war that is more turbulent than it was half a century ago, and I have no chance of winning...... That's why Dumbledore and Dracula agreed to me being the Headmaster, because they knew I couldn't do anything."

Vader was stunned and slowly lowered her head.

"So that's why you added the discipline of 'Runivin Transformation of Muggle Technology' in Durmstrang to Durmstra?" She asked in a low voice.

"That's right, since you can't win the battle, you can only learn their techniques." Grindelwald stroked the white hair on his forehead that had been tossed by the sea breeze, and said, "Don't those Muggle-born students want to go back and enjoy life? Then let them go!"

"To bring more advanced technology and infiltrate all walks of life in Muggles, subtly influencing their public opinion and policies."

"Magically transformed, Muggle

Technology will flourish in the wizarding world!"

Vida Rozier's eyes were a little complicated.

After so many years, she has changed from a young witch in her twenties and thirties to an old witch who is now nearly a hundred years old, and she has always thought that wizards are superior and Muggles are incapacitated.

Now, however, she found that Master Grindelwald, who she was following, had changed her mind about Muggles first.

"Vader, I know what you're thinking." Grindelwald didn't even turn his head to guess the psychology of his faithful believer, "I did despise Muggles before, and I didn't want the wizarding world to hide in the shadows like rats."

"But times are different now, and we can no longer look at things in the same way as before—we have to admit that Muggles can create more value than wizards with their current productivity."

"Besides, when we have no chance of winning, clinging to the old ideas will only lead to a downward spiral in the wizarding world......

Grindelwald turned, his sea-blue gaze staring into Vader Rozier's eyes, "Vader, we sometimes have to compromise for the greatest good."

Hearing this phrase "greatest good", Vader Rozier finally came to his senses, and his eyes became firm again.

"Grindelwald ...... Headmaster, since we're not going to confront Muggles, do we want to continue to live in this corner of the wizarding world?" She asked, "And you said that Muggles might use their technology to detect magic in a few years."

"yes, that's a bit of a hassle." Grindelwald smiled and looked up at the sky, "So we need a little help......

"That guy should be there soon."

Vida Rozier looked up in confusion and looked at where Grindelwald's gaze was pointing.

The bright sky seemed to suddenly darken, and a dark moon appeared in mid-air.

Then, a silver-haired Dracula slowly stepped out of the dark moon and smiled at Grindelwald standing at the bow of the ship.

"Have you finally decided?" He asked with interest.

"Albus and I have already discussed it, and this should be the best solution." Grindelwald said, "Let's start with a pilot near Durmstrang."

"If it works, we'll spread it to the entire wizarding world!"
